Help with editing posts

There isn't really a help section on this forum, so I'm posting here. Please move or delete it if it's in the wrong place.

I can't figure out how to delete or edit a post. I wanted to edit my previous post with a question, but there are no buttons for that. Can someone help me out?

There should be an edit button on your post.
And if I remember correctly, only mods can delete posts on IF...?

I can't fine an edit button. Where is it on your computer?

Top right of my post, between the Report and Quote buttons.

I only have a report and quote button. There's no edit button for me. I know it's not an issue of my account not being verified.

you need more forum posts before you are allowed to edit.

EDIT: So when I posted this, as the page was loading, it said your username was Daft Hark. Then it changed back into the cat thing. Is there some way I can make my username an image or is that only for someone with a certain number of posts as well?

imo that's rather ridiculous and isn't going to stop spam/thefts, but that's for another thread.

And yes, it's a feature you can buy in the shop after you get a ludicrous amount of posts.

well, as you can see it took him less than 2 days to get to 10 posts and be done with that limitation.
new members have limitations, but they get lifted really fast if they post. if they can't get past 10 posts... well they must be really shy.

anyway, stick around and post a lot, you'll be able to spend your "money" as soon as the new store system is put in place later on during the summer (we admins be busy ya know...).

as for a help section, there's "Announcements & Feedback." *moves topic*
