i know! i bought a short volume (numbered 12 and dated from 2002, at least the french edition) for like 3 bucks at a flea market, and i was really surprised to see a Pok�mon get sliced in half (i think it was a mirage but it was quite visually explicit).

that's all i know about it really (and some wiki/spp reading from some years ago) and it does sound a lot better. i've never seen it being sold anywhere though...

I would prefer an anime based on the Pok�mon Special manga to the currently running series. I like what the artist did with the Charmander's back on the title page here:
