The C Team, [begins]

[Bulk]

The rain poured down Dante’s neck as he walked calmly towards the dark mansion. "Professor Xavier’s School for the…" the last part of the sign had been blow off. Dante kept his wits about him. He had already learnt through contacts, now probably dead for all he knew, that Magneto’s army were planning to attack the school. Pulling his rucksack, closer to himself, whilst still keeping it over one shoulder, he opened the gate and crept through the gardens. Moving quickly but keeping to the shadows, Dante whipped away rain from his forehead, giving him a better view of the mansion. He could see the lights flickering in some of the rooms, like torchlight’s or candles. He rushed through the darkness and pressed his back against the main door. Looking around to check no one had followed him, he pulled open the door and slipped inside.

Inside were old statues and paintings with the whole entrance hall seeming to have a strange coldness about it. Sliding along the floor, Dante peered around one of the pillars to check for safety. He dropped his bag on the floor and kicked it out of site into a broom cupboard. Moving like a mouse, he snuck along through the mansion, checking around every door for intruders.

OOC: Ok, literally, you all either arrive at the school or wake up in your beds to find that Magneto has sent around 25 mutants to kill you all. You may either create the mutants from your imaginations or use mutants you know of from the X-Men universe. Just make sure it ties in nicely, so no Wolverine’s or anything. As this is your first post, I will be judging whether or not you stay in the RP on this post. I’m afraid that if it isn’t up to scratch, I still have the right to reject you from playing. You may also have rivals who you can encounter from time to time. Just no Bunnying or making your character uber. HAVE FUN!

The Invisibilty wore off, Kureiguu was resting against a tree, despite the heavy rain, he was sweating. Some blood dripped from his mouth and a few small cuts around his shoulder areas where his clothing was torn. The train ride he was planning on having a rest on turned out to be occupied by Mutants, and evil ones at that. So of course he ended up having to liberate it, a strange Mutant who seemed to pull out certain Bones to use as Weapons gave Kureiguu particular trouble and was the cause of the cuts around his shoulders. Though Kureiguu managed to kick him out of a window, somehow he could tell that he was still alive.

Footsteps were heard in the distance, Kureiguu managed to go invisible again but knew he would regret it. He watched as a Man walked by, something about him made him a Mutant, Kureiguu could tell though he didn't seem evil. Once he had walked off into the distance, kureiguu returned to visibility and, struggling, managed to get up onto his legs and slowly limped towards where the man had gone, then he saw it. A sign "Professor Xavier’s School for the..." This was it, Kureiguu just knew it somehow, the word Xavier had appeared on his internet searches before.

There was no Sign of the man, perhaps he already went in, Kureiguu decided to anyway, he opened the Door and discovered emptiness. There were paintings and Statues decorating the cold, dark, deserted room, many doors and pillars were also visible, Kureiguu walked into the middle of the room, looking around for a sign of anything and heard something in the distance...

It had been raining for hours, Carlos was starting to feel uncomfortable among these cages, the poultry made too much noise and he didn’t manage to sleep since he got on the truck. He was tired, he had been travelling for days and he knew that the nearer he was getting from his goal, the more dangers were going to appear.
The truck suddenly stopped. He knew they were still far away from the city, he though that maybe the army had stopped the truck. Casti used his powers to cross the truck’s roof and look around, he saw the driver as he ran away as fast as he could. The truck exploded, and casti was glad his power was activated at that moment so he was still alive.
There was a bizarre looking man staring at him, laughing. Casti had been discovered, and he knew that if he didn’t manage to either kill his enemy or escape, he was sure to be captured by Magneto’s men. The man suddenly stopped laughing, he raised his arm pointing at him, and he shot a heat wave that Casti luckily managed to dodge. He knew he was not too far away from the school, and he knew there must be more mutants there. He ran into his enemy modifying his molecular structure to make his fists as hard as he could and punched him twice. The heat waver mutant fell down surprised by his opponent’s strength. Casti ran into the woods next to the road heading to Xavier’s mansion as fast as he could.

Cameron lay in his bed, wanting to fall back into his slumber. Physically, he was tired, but he couldn't bring himself to sleep. He rolled over in his covers and looked at the alarm clock as it blared in crimson red numbers '2:37 a.m.' If I don't fall asleep, I'm going to fail Xavier's test in the morning. He looked out the window, saying 'it was raining would be an understatement. It was raining three hours ago, now it was a downpour.
Cameron strolled over to the window and opened it. He stared at the rain for a little bit, then he began to fiddle with the drops, making them into soothing shapes and forms hoping it would help him sleep. "Having trouble sleeping?" the voice startled Cameron as he turned around dropping the ball of water. It was a mutant. But definately not one that attended this school. he was big, really big. He had very defined muscles and slick black hair. He wore an all black suit "How are you Cameron, or should I say Poseidan." He hissed as he said Cameron's code name.
"Who are you?" Cameron asked hishands behind his back, little did the enigmatic mutant know, he began gathering a mass of water.
"My human name is of no concern to you, but you may call me, Rook. Magneto doesn't want you around anymore." He said smiling. Cameron began to dislike Rook. By this time he had gathered up a large sum of the rain water into a big ball, he just had to wait for the right time. "you see, Magneto sees certain people as a threat. He either has them join the brotherhood, or have them anhialated. Which will it be." And as if on cue more mutants came into the doorway. One was a tall woman with short red hair, she had pale skin and looked very lean. The other was a short man whose feet did not touch the ground. There were many others who Cameron couldn't make out, behind them.
"So, I'm a threat," Cameron said cooly. "I can see why," He then thrust the large ball of water through the window and into the doorway knocking back his instegators. He grabbed the C-Suit that he had made himself and did a backflip out of the window. With his feet over his head his molecular structure began to change into liquid and landed with a splash on the ground. His mass of water slid himself downhill and into the fountain nearby. From the fountain he watched as shorter man flew out the window, carrying the red head. Rook then jumped out and hit the ground with a thud, Super strength, best avoid him, Rook's arm then began to glow and a purplish glow surrounded his arm and a sword was formed in place of his arm Weapons mastery, i've really got to avoid him. The other mutants all went through the window, each with their own grace and individuality.
The three brotherhood members eyed the area, looking for Cameron. "D*** it, where was our ground ambush." Rook seemed angry. Note to self: Don't get Rook angry
"Right here in front of you, a figure protruded from the earth. He was huge and looked as if he were made from rock. He looked at Rook, "Buddy, I can't track someone easily when he turns to water."
"You will learn, when Magneto punishes you for not paying attention, you had better learn your place Golem. Team let's move out. Roz, get us back." With that, the red haired girl, Roz, clapped her hands together and they were gone.
Cameron lay in the fountain for some time the rain was stronger than ever and now there was lightning. He went underneath to the bottom of the fountain, into a passage way to the sewers that he had made himself. He traveled for a while until he came to the mini fountain in his room where he reassembled himself inot a solid again. He lay in bed, his eyes wide open, and thought I'm failing that test tomorrow.

OOC: Ok, I really don't know that much about the X-Men, what everything's like, so I'll try my best to write a little opening.

Sitting on the couch watching TV, Flora just sat there, not caring what was on the television screen. Watching mindlessly, she started getting drowsy. A sudden crash in the kitchen made her jump and she dashed quickly over to the kitchen, she saw a shadow on the ground, and strangely, no one was there. "You look pretty helpless to be a mutant, too bad, I still have to kill you." The shadow on the ground popped up and became a standing figure.
"What's going on!?" Flora frantically grabbed a pan on the floor a whacked the figure upside the face. She then ran out to the porch and turned around, gladly, nothing was following her from behind. She still ran as fast as she could, through the neighborhood. Flora looked forward when she heard fast footsteps coming from the alley. They're trying to cut me off! She used her powers to make a stump come out of the ground, unfortunetly, all that came out was a feeble root. "What!" Still, the mysterious person tripped over the root and faceplanted the rubble on the street. Flora continuously ran until she made it to the forest, she panted, dashing into the tree to hide. "My life is miserable."
"It's going to stay miserable, if you don't run." A woman landed gracefully down on the ground in front of her. She had wings!
"There's more of you!?" She turned around to run, and the bird-like woman curved around her and cut her short. She's fast! Flora thought.
"Don't you understand? Magneto wants you dead. Or would you like to join us?" The woman chuckled and returned back to her cold stare.
"How 'bout this?" Flora did a crescent kick and sweeped at her feet while she was floating in the air. The woman fell the ground but recovered. She was to slow, Flora used her power to strangle her and strap her to the ground. Although it didn't work like she wanted, the woman's foot was locked to the ground by a thick root. It worked, all I have to do is concentrate! Flora gasped. Mutants, Magento, everything the Professor guy said was true! I shouldn't have ran away from him! Then I'll just go back! She ran through the woods for a shortcut, making a dash to the mansion...

[Bulk]

A young man in his late 20s strolled down the corridor of the mansion and started to climb the stairs. He had bright blue hair, blue eyes, wore a blue t-shirt; in fact, everything was blue, apart from his skin. He continued up the stairs as if nothing was happening. There were crashes and booms in the distance but the man kept walking. He had a strange smile on his face, one that told Dante he was up to something.

Dante was hanging from the roof, how he got up there was anyone's guess but he had pressed his legs into a corner and was watching the man. He knew he'd have to strike quickly and efficiently to make sure no one else heard. Counting down in his head, he prepared to jump.

one, two THREE!

Dante leapt down and spun, digging his foot into the man. He should have been sent flying but for some reason Dante was stopped halfway. He looked down at his feet and saw the man grasping them both with one hand. The man screamed into the air so loud, Dante had to cover his ears from bursting.

As the screaming continued, Dante, looked down at his attacker. His mouth seemed to be getting wider and wider, until it was big enough to engulf Dante whole. The man spun him around and smashed him into a wall. Dante hit the ground and coughed, bits of dust and rubble had come down with him.

At least the screaming had stopped now but the man had turned to face him. He looked angry, really angry.

"Don't you know who I am?" he bellowed across the stairs. "I'm the Bulk, BITCH!"

With these last words, Bulk started to swell in size from around 5' to about 10' tall. His waste expanded and he seemed to take the shape of a giant sumo-wrestler. His skin turned blue but everything else turned red. Bulk gave a giant roar and started to run at Dante.

Dante became frightened.

Those bat like wings sprouted from his back and horns tore through his head. His skin became scales and claws appeared on his hands and feet. His face changed the shape to match a dragons and he, too, roared into the air. Bulk saw his only as a nuisance and continued to charge at Drag. Bulk pulled up a fist to strike but Drag leapt forward, ramming his horned into the foe. Both beasts were sent flying backwards.

Bulk gasped for breath and jumped to his feet. In the meantime, Drag and flown into the air and avoided collision with the floor. He dashed at Bulk and blew out a stream of red-hot fire towards him. Bulk smiled. He started to suck air in as the fire leapt towards him and swallowed it. Drag landed and stared on in anger. Bulk breathed in and look like he was about to throw up but instead the fire came out of his mouth but at 10 times the size. Realise that he didn't have time to escape, Drag too sent fire towards his opponent and the two flames hit in the middle, causing a catastrophic explosion.

Bulk was sent flying through three walls and Drag flew to safety. To check his enemy was dead, Drag swooped in for a closer look. Instead of Bulk lying flat on his back, a young man laid dead, like the man he had seen before. However, Drag had no control of his actions and so swiped with his claws, shredding the man before his eyes. Finally, Drag char grilled him and turned towards the door.

Crashing thought the door; Drag continued to look for another enemy. He flew through the corridors and around corners. There he found a young boy who seemed to have suddenly appeared from a fountain of water. Roaring again, Drag started crashing towards the bedroom, charging at the boy.

It was getting hotter and hotter, the rain drops evaporated before even reaching the ground and so the woods were filled with thick dark fog. Casti kept running changing direction like a gazelle to dodge the heat waves thrown by his pursuer, who laughed out loud while following.

Casti was tired, and so his powers were limited. He knew he was almost at the mansion when heard loud explosions and roars: the mansion was being attacked. He finally got out of the forest and got into it. The main hall had been destroyed, and what remained of a dead body laid in a blood pool in the floor. Casti was afraid that maybe the worst had happened.

He heard a loud roar once again, this time coming from the interior, where the student’s rooms were. He ran as fast as he could to get there and saw an immense dragon-like creature standing in front of a young boy. Casti grabbed his backpack and took out a small plastic ball that he threw on the monster’s back; the ball exploded forming a gas cloud around it. The dragon roared once again and fell down tired, but not unconscious as normally any creature would after receiving such a big amount of sleeping gas. “Hey boy! Come this way!” casti shouted at the boy who had turned his body into water and was getting ready to fight “we’ve gotta take I out of the mansion before it turns it to pieces!” Casti and the student ran out of the corridor followed by the wild dragon.

“Mwahahaha!! “ an evil laugh resounded, and the mansion suddenly started feeling hotter and hotter: The heat-waving mutant was there, waiting for them.



OOC: meh, i saw this fight coming, so i wanted to participate, hope you don't mind.

A loud explosion was heard, Kureiguu ran back to what looked like the main Room, surprised to see the Dragon from that day in Japan, two other people, one soaked in water, the other in sweat were near the Entrance. There was a man surrounded with a heat Wave at the Entrance, what was going on? Kureiguu couldn't make out who was Good or who was Evil and he was too injured to go invisible. He froze in fear and began to feel light-headed, not knowing if it was because of Blood-loss, the over-use of his powers or the sight of that Dragon, he then fainted...

A groggy Vincent plodded out of the bathroom and back down the hall to his dorm. With a slight swagger, he made his way through the mansion's dark corridors hearing only the constant pitter-patter of rain against the windows. As he turned to go into his room, he ran into a tall, domineering figure standing just inside the doorway. Vincent's brain tried to register who it was, but drew a blank, and thus grew tense.

"Well, well, who do we have here, love?" said a woman's voice.

Another figure, this one masculine, walked up from behind Vincent and replied, "One of Charles' lackeys I do suppose."

Vincent's tension grew as he very quickly realised that these were not the kind of people he wanted to be around. He tried to formulate a quick plan of escape, but his normally acute mind was worn out from cramming earlier that night with Cameron. He decided to try and bolt down the hall and hide in the manor's recesses. Surely these people didn't know the way around the place like he did. He jumped and started to run, but the man caught his arm in time to stop him.

"Oh, I wouldn't do that if I were you. We're not the only ones here from the Brotherhood, you know." He said.

Vincent stuttered, voice cracking mid-sentence, "W-Wh-Why are you here?"

"Well, you se lad, Magneto is assembling a mutant force to rise up against the humans. Since I don't have much time, I'll cut to the chase. Join us... or die."

Vincent glared at his captor, who was smirking slightly, evidently enjoying the rising tension. After a few seconds of dramatic silence, the man casually slumped forward and started swaying back and forth, dazed. This left the woman puzzled just long enough for Vincent to plant his foot into the man's face. He then proceeded to run down the hall. Suddenly, he felt himself jerked up into the air by an invisible force. Hanging upside-down, the woman came up and sneered, saying "I'll take that as a no."

She then went on to slam him around on the walls, floor, and ceiling of the corridor. Both physical and mental damage was racking his body. Brain and body panging, she finally slammed Vincent's languid body to the floor and stomped down hard on his face, breaking his jaw.

"Think about it some more, love, maybe the idea will gro--"

A third figure appeared at the corner, and interrupted "What the hell was with all that racket? Do you have any idea how many people are now waking up? We all have to get the hell out of here before Charles figures out what's happening! They seem to have a dragon on their side, and if they get any more reinforcements, we're toast. Inferno is dealing with some of the mutants in the foyer, but he can't hold out that long against that many of them."

He grabbed hold of the man, and with a "BAMF!"* all three were teleported out of the mansion, leaving Vincent in the middle of the hallway. He watched everything going on, but then passed out on the floor, a sanguine mess.

Vincent woke up a few hours later in a large white room, surrounded with computers and medical equipment. Everything in the room was pristine and clean... except for him. He continued to lay down on the operating table, and saw the professor glide in smoothly on his wheelchair, holding a small vial. Vincent tried to talk, but the professor stopped him.

"Try not to talk Vincent, you don't even need to talk to communicate with me anyway." Xavier chuckled and continued, this time projecting his thoughts into Vincent's mind. You must rest now. The damage you received was much too great for a fifteen-year-old. Fortunately, I have this.

He held up the vial, and inside was a pearly liquid. This is, in a sense, a healing potion. I isolated the healing gene in Logan's X gene, and thus copied it in a medicinal form. It will help speed up the healing, probably reducing your time normally healing by tenfold. You will still be out for a week or so, though, so it's crucial that you stay well rested.

The professor poured some of the liquid out into a small cup, and gave it to Vincent, who drank it best he could. He then asked the professor, How did the Brotherhood get into the mansion tonight? Wouldn't you have been able to sense them mentally?

He answered, I briefly saw some of them in the halls when I rushed to find you. It seems that Magneto invented a device, much like his helmet, to block my telepathy. But, fortunately for you, I was less preoccupied with them and managed to get you here.

Some of Vincent's cuts were already healing. He asked again, Professor?

Yes Vincent?

I don't have to take that test today, do I? He feebly smiled.

Then both of them laughed, and Xavier replied, I guess I can make an exception He smiled, and wheeled himself and Vincent out of the hospital wing, and took Vincent to his room, who then fell asleep immediately.

*Bamf - the noise Nightcrawler makes when he teleports. (the mutant was not intended to be Nightcrawler though, just a cool noise)

Oh damn, he’s found me, Casti though when he saw The heat waving mutant once again, standing in the garden, right next to what remained of the fountain. ”Mwahahaha, you didn’t really think you could escape did you? My name’s Inferno, and you know why,” he said as he shot another heat wave that Casti and Poseidon dodged.

“Erm… kid, be careful, he’s strong. I’m Carlos, i came to help,” he said to the water-boy. “Call me Poseidon. We have to alert the others”.

They were both ready to fight, but the wild dragon just pushed them aside and attacked Inferno, who was really surprised when he saw the immense wild creature running towards him. The two mutants started fighting, Casti took his glasses out of his backpack and put them on, as well as a small metallic flask containing a powerful acid. “I saw your powers Poseidon, try using this on the dragon’s eyes if he attacks us, that’ll help us gain some extra time.”


OOC: i'll let starter and bulk and the others continue with this for today.

Drag pulled his hand back, about to strike the kid. It didn't matter to him who he was what side he was on. Drag was hyped up and nothing was going to stop him. As his hand began to fall, he suddenly became much weaker and his senses seemed to weaken. He turned and saw a man standing in the doorway but he couldn't make out whom he was. He seemed to be shouting something but Drag couldn't work that out either. The boy Drag could've simply killed was getting away. He closed his eyes and heard the voices of the bullies from his school.

PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER YOU PATHETIC WHIMP!

Drag, stood up and shook himself. He needed to pull himself together and KILL something. Running across the room, he crashed out the window and landed on two feet on the cold, dark grass. He gave another tremendous roar, he was back in action. He could already see about 15 mutants coming in towards him at all angles. They seemed to be more stupid than he had given them credit. They got within 5 feet of Drag, when the dragon jumped into the air and breathed fire directly onto them. Most of them died instantly in the flames, making drag very happy. The others, who were badly burnt, started to run. Drag took out another 3 with more fire and swooped down to take out another with his claws.

The final one proved a little more difficult. He had the power to teleport, but Drag had this covered. He slashed once with a claw, missing, another, again missing but got him by spinning on one foot with his wings spread. The wings acted like knives and cut the victim in two. Drag gave a final roar and then transformed back. In tears, Dante fell to the floor.

"So cold..." he whispered. "So cold..."

Dante woke up inside the mansion, on one of the sofas. Sitting next to him was Charles. He was smiling.

"Now, Dante," started Charles.

"How do you know my name!" interrupted Dante.

"I know more about you than you think," said Charles, quietly. "Although, I think it would be in both our best interests to keep your powers hidden for the moment"

"You... you know about Drag?" whispered Dante.

"Yes, and I also know you cannot control it... yet," continued Charles. "I think that it would be easiest for you to keep that little piece of information a secret. Pretend your power is simply heightened strength and being a kung-fu master. That way the others will learn to accept you."

"But the others," sobbed Dante, a tear producing form one eye. "They saw Drag, they must know about me."

"Actually, they simply think it was one of Magneto's Brotherhood," smiled Charles. "Well, I think it would be best if you got some sleep now."

Charles closed his eyes and placed his hand on Dante's head. Dante's eyes began to close and his mind began to wonder. Sleeping was much easier than fighting.

OOC: In case you ahven't guessed, this means no one knows about Dante being "that dragon thing" at the moment. You may learn about it after a while, or I may revela it to you, but don't make up something shit as an excuse to know.

kureiguu awoke. He finally felt healthy again with his Shoulder wounds bandaged and a large distance in time since he used his power, he didn't remember much of the previous night though. "I must have fainted... i wonder what happened about the Dragon..." Kureiguu said walking out of the Room into and evetually into the main Room, it was a wreck.

I can't believe this is happening to me! Flora jumped out from the woods and stopped to see a battle scene. "Ahh! There's a million more of you!" Flora shrieked through the air. She dashed towards the half-destroyed mansion, but she felt some breeze as something flew down in front of her and sweeped right at her legs. Flora did a flip and flew smack dab into the dragon. There was some creepy dragon, staring down at her, and yet, another man with a ball of heat and fire revolving in his palm.
"Who the hell are you! You seem like a pretty easy kill! Then I'll do just that!" The ball started getting bigger. Flora looked around one last time. "Please don't kill me Please don't kill me Please don't kill me...." Flora repeated over and over. She felt a sudden energy wave throughout her body and released some of her power. A rotten log flew up from behind Inferno, hitting his head making him only a little dazed. The log continued to fly, almost hitting the dragon in the face, but it ducked, snarling at the helpless girl on the floor. Flora pushed herself back towards Inferno, who had a fully charged blast ready. The bird woman swooped down and kicked Flora, which then landed on her stomach. The woman went back up after the kick, curved around in a circle, picking her up. She held Flora up to the revolving ball of heat. The last thing she saw was the dragon, and a man with a boy running towards her. She then felt intense heat fly towards her. She flew far landing on the grasses around the mansion.

OOC: WOW, you guys are fast. It hasn't even been a day and you all wrote so much. Sorry I couldn't post earlier but I was at school until 21:00 which is in my country like an hour ago. Just treat this as if i post it at the beginning. We should have like rounds so we all would know how much time we have until the other post again in the next round. oh, i tried to mix my story with Kyuubis a little and i used one of startes mutants as it wass perfect for my story hope this is ok.

It was cold and dark as the rain poured from the sky. Zack was on his way back after sneaking up from the mansion to his favorite spot near the sea, where he likes to be alone and ponder in his thoughts. "I hate rain" Zack said while he was running in order to avoid the rain drops. Suddenly he heard this weird cracking sound behind him but when he turned around nothing was there. He started running back to the mansion through the woods. A lightning stroke followed by a deafening thunder sound. The bright light blinded Zack for a second and he tripped over something, but when he looked up to see what it was, again, nothing was there. "I must be getting nuts" he said while whipping the rain drops from his face. Another lightning stroke but this time Zack saw clearly in the bright light in the sky a giant rock tossed in his way. In the last second Zack rolled over and was able to avoid the rock but when he turned to see who tossed it, all he saw was a dark figure just for a second as it disappeared into the ground. "Where did it go? Show yourself!! I don't have time for this nonsense". Then from the ground a hand shaped rock came out and grabbed Zacks foot. "You think you're tough heh?" said a voice from below and then he finally saw it, as the gruesome huge rock mutant came up from the ground. Zack tried to electrify him but nothing happened. "Ha, Magneto told me all about you Zack" said the mutant, "your powers won't effect me, I'm made out of stone, hahaha".
Zack smiled and said "you are underestimating me, I guess your brain is made out of rock as well". Zack tried to remember what professor Xavier taught him, "concentrate and conquer your anger" he thought to himself. His eyes became white while sparks where coming from his body. Another lightning stroke but this time it hit Zack directly and caused a blast which knocked of both the rock mutant and Zack. Zack started running again as he knew he was close to the mansion. "My leg is killing me, this mutant sure had a strong grip". He finally got there and saw the sign "Professor Xavier’s School for the…" but then again he felt like someone was watching him. He turned around and thought he saw a kid for a second but he disappeared. "I must be getting nuts" he said and stepped into the mansion…

It all happened very quickly. A group of mutants from the brotherhood were already there in the garden, and a young girl came out of the wood. Casti and Poseidon used their powers to fight the brotherhood and the wild dragon fought against both the x-men and the brotherhood. Casti managed to get near the young girl, he grabbed her and got into the mansion followed by Poseidon who was keeping the battle out of the mansion with a water wall. Fire, roars and shouts, and then a sudden silence. The brotherhood had been defeated, and there was no dragon anymore.

Charles Xavier himself came out of the corridors and told them to help him take the unconscious girl and man into the mansion. There was another boy in the infirmary, unconscious as well. Charles told them that they were going to talk about all this the next morning, but for now, they needed to take a rest. That night Carlos fell sleep quickly and woke up late in the morning, he was so tired of the weeks of travelling and the battle from last night, that he didn’t even have any dreams or nightmares.

The next morning he woke up at around 11h30, he was hungry and so went to the kitchen in search of some milk and bread.

Zack went up to his room and rested for a while. He was still dazed from the blast caused by the lightning. Suddenly he heard a huge roar from the floor below. He ran out and saw through a huge hole in the floor, the main hall, there he saw Poseidon, Flora and an older stranger surrounded by a huge evil looking dragon and a mutant that called himself Inferno. "This day just can't get any weirder, oh well, this is not my fight" Zack said and started to walk away but as he turned around, Inferno noticed him and shot a heat wave towards him. Zack managed to avoid the heat wave but it still scorched a small part of his hair. "Ok, now it's personal". Zack got mad but as he was going to shoot an electric bolt towards Inferno something caught his arm and threw him onto a wall on the other side of the room. "What the heck was that?" he looked up and saw a teenager with green long hair and a long black lather coat. "I don't know how you escaped golem but you won't escape my wrath Zack" said the mutant. Then he opened his coat and from his stomach, a huge hand filled with spikes and thorns came out towards Zack. He was able to escape with the skin of his teeth but not without getting a deep cut in his arm from one of the spikes.
"Don't you worry Zack, soon you will join your mother" said the mutant.
"Think well of what you're saying as it might be your last words, don't dare talking about my mother" Zack answered. Zack became filled with rage. all the electric devices around him began to shake. Zack touched an electric socket near him in order to charge himself up and with a great shout he shot an electric bolt towards the mutant which knocked him out of the mansion through the window, but then, a winged mutant caught him in the air and took him away.
Zack past out as he used too much electricity.
In his dream Zack heard a scream "Nooo!!!, Sera, what are you doing!!! Nooo!!" Zack awoke filled with cold sweat, "what was that? Who is sera? this name sounds so familiar" He lay back in his bed and shook his head, "I must talk with Xavier"…

Kureiguu walked around the mansion a little, it was early morning and he was hungry so he decided to search for a kitchen, after a while he came across one though it was occupied by another man. "Oh, err... Hi" kureiguu said and introduced himself to the stranger...

"Oh, i saw the battle. I must have fainted, that Dragon... Anyway, thanks." Kureiguu said and began to drink the Juice, "You saw the dragon too, right? i saw it before once, back in japan." he added, until someone else entered the Room, "Hello," he said "i'm Charles Xavier..."

Zack came down the stairs and walked into the kitchen, he looked at Carlos and Kyuubi and said "Who the heck are you two? ah, i don't care, just get out of my way". He shoved Kyuubi and made himself some coffee. Then Xavier got in and said "Hello, I'm Charles Xavier".
"hey Charles, i need to speak with you" said Zack.
"In time Zack but now i need to greet our new guests" Xavier answered.

“Heh, hello to you too kid, you need to learn good manners you know,” Carlos said to Zack as stood up and shook Xavier’s hand. ”Good morning Professor, once again, thanks for receiving me in the mansion,” “Thanks to you Carlos for helping us last night,” answered Xavier smiling, “I hope you slept well, for now, I’ll go see how’re Dante and Vincent. When they back on foot we’ll have to talk about last night’s incident.” Xavier left the kitchen.

“So… your name’s Zack isn’t it?” asked Carlos, picking up his bowl and drinking some milk.

"Yeah, what's it to you? And I do mean it, don't stand in my way. Anyway call me Sparky, and if you wonder why.." Zack made some sparks from his hands.
"Zack, I thought I've told you not to use your powers inside the mansion" said Xavier.
"Yeah yeah I know, I think it's too late for that after last night"

"Ugh, where am I?" Flora moaned painfully. She tried to get up slowly, her whole body was sore. Take one step at a time she walked down the hallway. Someone in a wheel chair turned the corner infront of her. She ran but stopped as her muscles burned in pain. She winced and yelled, "Hey!". The man turned around and headed back her way. "You're Professor Xavier," Flora said in a bit of a shock. "Why am I here?" Flora questioned.

"This is the school, the mansion." Xavier responded.
"Huh?" Was her intelligent response.
"Remember when you ran away from me, I told you about being a mutant. You need help-" He was cut short.
"I'm not a mutant! I'm just a girl.. with powers... to control...... nature, I'm not a mutant..." She dragged out the sentence, thinking of things to say. The Professor stared at her strangely, with his eyebrow raised. "Alright, fine, whatever, I'm a...." Flora just crossed her arms and sighed.
"Why won't you just go talk with the others in the kitchen? Go back the way you came and turn down that hallway, you should see them." The Professor directed her towards the kitchen and continued around the corner. Flora just waved goodbye and followed his directions. She was shocked when she saw the people. She shrieked!

"You're though evil mutants from earlier!" Flora turned around and crashed int the wall in front of her. "Ow...." She moaned helplessly. She landed with a thud... "My life is over." she said as the people stared at her, holding their laughter.

Cameron jumped out of the fountain and went back to solid form, his back was to the door, he looked around.

He had a bad feeling in his gut.

It happened so fast. Cameron looked behind him and there stood a 7 foot tall dragon! It was jet black and it looked angry. It then turned towards Cameron. It charged. Cameron watched helplessly as the dragon ran towards him. At the last second he ducked making the dragon crash through the wall. Cameron gathered up a compacted ball of water quickly and thrust it at the dragon, barely fazing it. Then a ball came through the doorway and opened up releasing a gren gas. Cameron instinctively held his breath and he heard a voice say “Hey boy! Come this way!” Cameron was willing to accept any help he could find at this point.
They ran down the corridors, and out to the garden. Suddenly it became amazingly hotter. Inferno was outside by the fountain. He shot a ball of fire and magma towards Cameron and Carlos, which they dodged
“Erm… kid, be careful, he’s strong. I’m Carlos, i came to help,” he said to the Cameron. “Call me Poseidon. We have to alert the others”.
With that Cameron began to throw balls of water into the rooms of all the other students windows breaking them. X is gonna' kill me!Cameron had a knack for compacting the water tightly. Then cameron felt an enormous hand push him aside. It was the very dragon that had tried to attack him before. The dragon swiped at the fire mutant leaving a gash on his arm.
“I saw your powers Poseidon, try using this on the dragon’s eyes if he attacks us, that’ll help us gain some extra time.”
Cameron nodded and opened the flask, he dropped it and lifted all the acid out. He began to swirl it around making a ball that levitated in front of him. The dragon saw Cameron and Carlos and charged.
"Wait for the moment." Carlos said, The giant dragon roared and threw its head up into the air. As soon as it lowered Cameron knew it was time, he "threw" the mass of acid directly at the dragon's face, it hit his eyes temporarily blinding him. The two mutants seized the oppurtunity and were about to run wanting to get away from the dragon. As they turned around they realized.

The dragon was the least of their problems. Members of the Brotherhod were running towards the school from all directions. Carlos began running towards a girl who had been running from them. Wait a minute, I feel like I remember her... He couldn't think about it now though, he ran shooting water at anyone who came in a radius of ten feet of him or Carlos. Cameron had not met Carlos before, but he knew everything he needed to in battle, he was an ally.
They reached the girl and Carlso grabbed her and ran towards the mansion. Cameron then had an idea, it would take a lot of Concentration though. His eyes turned a deep blue and his hair stood on end as he raised the water from the fountain into a gigantic wall, the raindrops also continually added to the immense size. He had to protect the mansion. He couldn't see what was going on through the wall, but a sudden silence occured. Cameron lowered the wall back to the fountain and saw...

bodies, littering the ground heaped on top of eachother. Cameron had never seen so much death in one place. He felt as if he was about to cry.

The next morning he woke up, not in his room but in The hospital wing. he had passed out on the couch. Vincent was lying on the bed with a broken jaw,"Hey, dude. What's up." Cameron saw Vincent smile. The smile said, 'what the hell do you think is up?' "Let me get you some water." Cameron said as he turned on the sink and refilled Vincent's empty glass. "I've got to go get some breakfast cuz I'm hungrier than a fat guy at a buffet." Cameron had been friends with Vincent since Cameron had first come to this school. They both arrived at about the same time, and they immediately became friends because they were both very smart. Cameron was also very likable, Vincent wasn't his only friend though. He usually hung out with Zack playing video games and in any class drill in the Danger Room they worked together. He went downstairs to the cafeteria and he saw Carlos talking to some of the students at the Academy, Zack, a new student, and Professor X were all there discussing the battle.

"Carlos! Dude thanks for helping me out. That dragon would've mauled me without that gas. Hey Sparky, pour me a cup of coffee. Thanks," Cameron Said as Zack handed him a cup of black coffee. "I'm Cameron Davis 'Poseidan' my mutant ability is Hydrokinesis, control liquids, though you probably know that by now, huh. So I see everyone here made it out with minor injuries Vincent is in the hospital room, I was jest visiting him. You're new to our school, Carlos. You got a code name yet?"

"I think X might cancel classes today because of the fight but with him you never know." Cameron sipped the last of his coffee and, without leaving his chair or turning around, he levitated some more cofffee from the open pot and placed it in his cup.
"Show off," cameron heard Zack mutter.

[Nevermore]

A breeze whipped over the top of the hill, and Nevermore breathed deeply. The air here smelled of blood, fresh blood. A grin tugged at the corners of her mouth. She climbed through the canopy of the forest, taking note of the many footprints. 'There were a lot of people here, something bad happened.' she thought.
The trees thinned and what once had been a grand manor house type building came into view, many of its walls damaged and windows shattered. Nevermore Warily stepped out of the trees and looked around, but there was no-one in sight, though faint noises were coming from the house. A pool of blood lay nearby, tracking off a little into the woods where either an animal had found a good meal or the fallen persons comrades had removed their body. Affection for the person or covering up the embarrassment of a defeat?
At the back of her mind muted thoughts and voices tried to battle their way through her defences, but these were different. There was something about their presence that wasn’t the same as any she had felt before.
Scaling a drainpipe and clambering onto the roof, she followed the muffled sounds from inside the building, and came upon a cracked panelled skylight. Whoever was in the house was right below her.
The glass was weakened by the ravages of time and she pulled one of the dusty panes up easily and noiselessly. Below her stood a small hall, a few long tables set in it and a group of people sitting at one of them below her.
She climbed onto the glass to get a better look.
They were young, mostly looking in their teens, talking, even smiling, while just a short distance away death hung in the air like a swarm of flies. They knew, she could feel in their minds that they knew what had happened here just a short while ago, but again, it came with that spark of difference she had felt before. They were smiling with such things surrounding them. A hiss escaped between Nevermore’s teeth.
Suddenly, she felt the glass supporting her cracking, and before she could react, shattering and falling from beneath her…

Flora slowly got up from the contact with the wall. "Hey! You guys are from my school!" She remembered. "Zack, Cameron... you guys are all here." Oh boy was I stupid. I thought they were evil, trying to- She was cut short bye the shattering of glass above her. Flora jamped back as a girl fell from the ceiling. "Someone get her!"

A Girl randomly fell from the Ceiling, after last night Kureiguu was almost expecting some sort of assult. he turned invisible, walked behind her and grabbed her (like another nearby Girl shouted). He then turned visible again. "So..." Kureiguu said and was followed by one of those awkward silences "you one of Magneto's?"
