Okay, I got this idea after hearing about a game called Ever17, and it's kinda close to the main part of the story. This is sort of a preview, I guess.
In a time not quite 20 years from now, a brand new underwater theme park/resort is about to be opened right off England's coast, approximately 150 feet underwater. Before it's opened to the public, people such as the workers and the close friends and families of the workers are allowed to visit this beautiful place and play on the various amusement rides during the weekend before the opening. Everyone is excited, for nothing like this has been done before.
Everyone came in by a small submarine on Friday night, and the ship had docked at the bay on the lowest floor of the resort. Everyone was running around, playing on the various rides. All kinds of amusement rides were present, from bright blue roller coasters with cars shaped like dolphins, to bumper cars with sharks painted on them. The park was beatiful, and everyone was happy.
Saturday afternoon, all of that came to an end.
Something happened on the lowest floor of the vast amusement park, and the resort was slowly filling with water. It wouldn't be long before the whole place was filled with water and everyone drowned. People panicked and hoped they could get to the submarine, but it was blocked by the slowly rising water, and to worsen things, that was the only way known of escaping.
The crowd of people decided that if they were to survive, they needed to search the huge underwater resort and find another way to escape the horrible circumstances they've gotten themselves into.
So... what do you guys think? Sound fun?
EDIT: Oh my god, I switched 'tenses' half way through.' Oh well, this isn't the final thing, this is kinda a rough draft.
