Many years after the fall of the Dragon Riders, many years after Eragon overthrew Galbatorix and replenished the dragon race. Saphira and her mate have successfully created a new age of dragons, who henceforth breeded and laid more eggs. Unfortunately Eragon, according to prophecy left with Arya on a ship. One shade took control, he calls himself Solden. He has single handedly destroyed many of the dragons, leaving only a few who are hidden from the dictator. There are only a few eggs that are not hatched yet, and they are the key to salvation throughout the land of Alagaesia.

Many say that they are all doomed. Some say that there is hope. Humans, Elves, and Dwarves alike have all risen up to the challenge and have perished in doing so. There are only a select few Dragon Riders left, and the next age must take its place as the saviors of the land.

I wanna have your opinion on this. I just picked up the book Dragon Rider before you started this, and I am enjoying it. I was wondering if I would have enough knowledge about the Dragons to be able to participate in the RPG. I am about half way into the book, do I have to read Eragon or anything to understand?

Name: Haru Tokugawa

Gender: Male

Race: Human

History: Haru grew up on a small island off the coast of the spine forest, in a secluded fishing village, so Haru was raised from the beginning of his life to be nothing but a fisherman. His parents taught him many things critical to surviving, but his grandpa always imbued Haru with tales of adventure and battle that gave him wondrous dreams and an eye always for the horizon, awaiting an adventure. He even told him the legends of the Dragon riders and Galbatorix. Eventually, in his spare time, Haru was trained by his grandfather. He learned the use of weapons and how to fight, and even simple strategy. They practiced with homemade weapons and Haru eventually turned out quite strong and skilled with weapons such as the bow, sword and spear. Eventually, his hometown was burned to a crisp by raiding pirates. He stood and fought, but only failed and was saved only by the selflessness of his grandfather, who opened a path amongst the raiders allowing for an escape. To this day, he wanders the shores of Alageasia hunting, fishing and foraging for food. He fights for life, but that struggle has only developed his skills.

Description: Haru has a deep chestnut colored hair that barely drapes over his eyebrows and is the same length all around. His eyes are brown, and he has a scar from an arrow across his left cheek. He is very agile, and also fast as he is now always on the move, from place to place. He arms are strong, and they are a deep caramel color, like the rest of his body. Most of the time, he wears his old tattered shirt and a bland pair of faded cloth pants.

Personality: Haru is a good person, and will always do what is right. He is brave, but levelheaded and knows his limits, and when he must flee. He is always respectful, except to his enemies, and he always wants to make friends. He doesn’t talk too much, and has a regular sense of humor. The one thing he feels the most strongly about is his hate towards pirates, raiders and that kind of nomadic people who take from the honest and kill without reason.

Weapons: Haru carries a short bow on his back, along with his quiver. He is extremely adept with the bow, and has very close to perfect aim. He also carries two swords with him, one long sword, very similiar to a Katana. The other sword is a short gladius, with two sharp edges and a pointy part perfect for stabbing. Finally, he also always carries a roman styled Pilum with him. He uses it as a walking stick.

Dragon Gender: Male

Personality: Topaz is pretty much just like Haru, except he is more of a vigilante. He is respectful, and honors tradition. He knows his limits, but he doesn't care and will always try to do what is right. He will die trying to save something, or protect something. He places little value in his life, but more in other's. He doesn't always think before he acts, but he has Haru for that.

Description: Topaz is covered in scales, each of which are a swirl of Topaz and black. They shine a little bit in the light, but are not very visible in the dark. Other than his scales, Topaz's spines that do down her back are black. His eyes are topaz, just like his scales, and they glisten like diamonds. His wings are a tad smaller than most dragons, but not lengthwise. Lengthwise, his wings are longer than most, but in width, his wings are a tad smaller, allowing for faster and more manuverable flights. Topaz's tail is covered with spines, but on the back, he has two spikes that go out on either side of the tail, perfect for smashing.

Name: Alma

Gender: Female

Race: Human

Description: Alma has brown hair that reaches down to her shoulders, and very dark brown eyes, that don't look any lighter in the sun. She usually wears a red shirt that is kind of faded. She sometimes wears her black framed glasses, but not often. She has a little scar on her left hand, almost reaching the small gap between her fingers, she got it because it took her a long time to hold the bow and arrow properly. It stands out because of her brownish white skin.

History: Alma was born in a town off Therinsford. She was close to a lot of elves, who trained her a lot, and raised her. She is very close to them, because she doesn't know who her parents are. She was told things about the Dragon Riders, and how it caused some of their friends and ancestors to pass away. She was trained for many months, until she accidently killed one of the elves because she had terrible aim back then. Ever since then, she has been living in her small cabin alone, only with the company of Thern, who is her close friend, and probably one of the only elfs who actually trusted her after the accident. She hardly comes out of her house, or goes into Therinsford for food and supplies, because people wouldn't want her around, especially the elves. Thern continued her training, and she became stronger, and is now an expert at the bow and arrow.

Personality: Alma is a very nice and shy person. She is very lonely, though, due to the incident, even if she has Thern as company. But it doesn't keep her down. She gets very angry at people when they talk about her being one of those crazy elf killers. She is very stubborn at times, and when angry, you'd rather not talk to her. Alma keeps her hopes up even though she doesn't know who her parents are, and the incident with the elves.

Description: Turquios has turquoise skin, and the spikes he has going down his back are a very much lighter turquoise. His eyes are dark bluegreen. He has a odd birthmark on his head, that looks more like a scar.

Personality: Turqios is a big show off. He usually brags about how big and humogous he is and how puny humans are. It makes Alma angry when he brags, but they share a very close bond together. He flies around in ease to show off how good he is. Other than being a braggart, Turqios is very loyal, except that sometimes he can't show how nice he really is inside. Other than that, he is very much like Alma.

Race: Elf
Gendr: Male
Description: green eys, short, spiky sandy hair. Wears a brown tunic with a green vest over it and brown trousers (non-armor suit) Armor: especially crafted armor-has intricate designs such as swirls. Most of it is black, but the lines and such are green. Light skin. Occasionly wears a green cape. He also is missing his left thumb, an injury dealt during a battle.

History: Onreil grew up in a village on the outskirts of Du Weldenvarden; he and his father often made journeys into the Hadarac desert to scout for the elves. Other than defender, Onreil's father was a harp-crafter and -player. His mother was and herbalist and could cure nearly any disease. One day, as Onreil was brought to pass past the dragon eggs during the regular ceremonies, his dragon was hatched. He went away to become an apprecntice dragon rider.

Personality: Seemingly very cold and harsh in judgements and manner, Onreil is actually very kind. before forming an opinion, he will consider the matter greatly. Onreil is very hard to get to know, but once you do, you will find that he has a massively dry and sarcastic sense of humor, along with a loyal companion.

Dragon's name: Eeshalda
Dragon's color: maroon
Dragon's gender: female
Dragon description: maroon scales all over body, except on face, where there are violet markings around the eyes. Spines, as on other dragons, go down her back. However, unlike other dragons, her spines give off a slight glow.

Dragon's personality: Eeshalda is a light-hearted, breezy sort of dragon. She is a free spirit, and loves the feeling of flying. She often likes to annoy Onreil by surprising him with unexpected maneuvers in the air, and flying off without him. She is very playful and silly, quite contrary to Onreil's stern personality.

Name: Yurimeshi Masamune

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Description: Yurimeshi has black hair that is out grown to his nose, draped to the left side of his face. Yurimeshi’s face is sharp with a muscular jaw line and deep dark blue eyes. Yurimeshi prides himself in has strength, speed, agility, and his prowess in hand-to-hand combat. He stands a stout six feet and 3 inches tall with his toned limbs and core he is lean and muscular. His skin is not of a pale complexion, but unlike others that live in the cold climate of the Carvahall valley he is slightly tanned. He wears a tan brown cloth shirt that is worn from work and leather bracers on his upper body. Light gray cloth pants and worn leather boots adorn his lower body.

History: Yuri grew up in the village of Carvahall with his grand parents. Ever since he could remember, his grandfather had filled Yuri’s thoughts full of valor full knights, ferocious battles, triumphant victories over evil, and Dragon Riders. Yurimeshi grew up not knowing much of his past and only knew little of his grandparent’s past. He grew up doing grueling hard labor for his grand parent’s, but it only made him physically stronger and stronger willed. He spent most of his free time in the Spine in his “adventurous quests” as he called them, but they were merely excursions into the wilderness, He took many treks into the Spine getting stronger and going deeper and deeper each time. He enjoyed the seclusion and harmony of the forest, he was glad that so many people were afraid of going into the Spine, because they would have ruined the serenity. If he was not working, training, trekking into the “Unknown”, he was either listening to great tales from his grandfather or fighting the local population. He hated when people disagreed with his ideals and voiced his opinion boldly. He was not afraid of getting into fights with anyone because he has a lot of confidence in himself. He has a great aspiration to be a legend and be told about in great tales.

Personality: He can be seen as ignorant because of his high level of confidence; this is only because he knows his abilities. Yurimeshi is not afraid of standing up for his morals and ideals and cannot be swayed on the matter. When he is determined he will achieve his goals now matter what the cost. Yuri is power hungry and strives to achieve more power constantly; this is seen as a downside to his personality. His friendship is far easier to gain than his respect. Past all the ignorance and stubbornness Yuri can be quite a nice person and charming. To earn his respect one has to earn it, he doesn’t give it to just anyone.

Description: Black as night, Obsidian is a fearsome sight to behold. With larger than normal wings, and huge claws, he is an engine of war. He has glistening black scales, and dark crimson eyes. He also has the spines that normal dragons have, except his are dark red. They stand out among his dark scales.

Personality: Obsidian has an ambitious mind that is always poisoning Yurimeshi’s mind with ideas of ultimate power, and complete dominance in the entire world. It is brave, but only fights for himself, and Yuri. He may act bravely sometimes, but it is only for himself, for he only acts to gain something. He is no coward, and will fight if challenged. He likes to stick to the old ways and traditions, until they come in his way of ultimate dominancy.
