[NAME] Hated Mondays.
A Contest.

There isn't a writing competition section so I will post this here. Your challenge is to create an original, clean piece of writing beginning with "[NAME] hated Mondays." The NAME in brackets can be changed to any name you please.

Rules.
- Piece must be clean and original.
- Piece must be longer than three paragraphs or stanzas.
- Piece must be a story or a poem.
- First line/sentence must be, "[NAME] hated Mondays."
- The tense and/or point of view can be changed if you please.
- Do not post your entries here, PM them directly to me. They will be posted here and a poll will be put up after all entries are accepted.

I'm just trying to liven things up around here. I might make a series of these with different topic sentences. If this one is successful, I will. Hopefully, this will be fun and will strengthen your writing skills.
Please be original and don't tell us how the character hates Mondays because of work or school. Have something exciting happen.

Can it be "I hated/hate Mondays"? I've been wanting to write more in the first person.

just passing by to mention that since we're not "C Writing" i don't see why we should have another section for this medium. but nevertheless, i edited the contests section rules to be a bit more actual and to let you know that you can still do a writing contest in there.

since this is already here, i guess we can skip the approval part. *moves*
