Here it is, our first Space set review! You all know what do do; post your opinions about this set on playability, piece selection, design, etc.

Today's set is 2153 Robo Stalker. It was released in 1997 for the Roboforce subtheme. Included in its 270 elements were 2 minifigs, some basic joints, and a few printed pieces, all for a price of USD $30.00.

Oooh a set I wanted back then and never got it. Today it looks cheesy compared to Exo force but look at all the usable pieces! You can build things out of this! Not much juniorization, but the legs look kind of bad. Other wise this set is cool, and contains a pretty fair price.

Niceness. ;)

Ya know, I just bought this set (my mom collected a bunch of old cheap-priced sets to give away as birthday presents and such), and it's fantastic! The only complaints I have are the immobility of the legs and the cloned figures. The peices are excellent from a castle or space standpoint and the concept is very old-cheesy-bad-acting-sci-fi-moviestyle. Which I like. Must - activate - Robodisks -!

I've been planning to reply in this thread for quite some time.

This is probably one of my favorite space sets. It looks so much like a remote control robot! :D Could you take some pictures Ethan? I've never seen one in person. Yeah, I don't buy much. ;)

Hey Tanotrooper, good to see you around, welcome!

On-topic, this set looks a lot like the Spyrius Robots. The design a little weird; this robot never needed such big legs. Still, the arms were really functional, and head plain cool (resembles a fox to me, don't ask me why ;) ). The minifigs have a great look (second only to IcePlanet2002 and the armored 'UFO' ones). Playability? I could play with this set all the morning when I was younger.

Rating:

Playability - 7/10
Design - 5/10
Piece Selection - 4/10
Figs/Acessories - 8/10

Overall: A fair 6/10.
