Administrator Group: Admin Posts: 33 Member No.: 1 Joined: 13-July 06	General Board Rules 1. Read Everything First Trust me, it makes things loads easier. This is the only way that we'll be able to keep things in semi-order, and if you're not going to do this, what good is it even coming here? 2. Rating of Board This is an unrated site. You, as a member, have free reign to do whatever you would like to, so long as an appropriate warning is attached. 3. Promote Let others know we're out here! Easy enough. 4. Respect I understand that you don't like everyone. Hell, I get irritated with people for the stupidest things on Earth, but don't slander. Anyone found doing so will be banned entirely - not just their character, but their IP address as well. 5. Active Participation If you're going to sign up, don't just leave. There will be character clean-outs occassionally, and anyone deleted will have no trace left of them around here. 6. Plug Board Only members of three or more days can post in the Plug Board. Offenders will have their IP banned for a total of two weeks, permitted back on again, and given a chance to do things correctly. If they don't at that point, they are permanently banned. 7. Moderating Only the Mods can do this, hence Moderating. If you're not one, don't go around acting like it. It irritates me like no other. 8. Reading Do it carefully. I will drop hints every now and then about the little things that are going to happen, but you won't get a thing of it unless you read everything that is posted, and not just by me. 9. Have Fun Self explanatory. Role Playing Rules 1. Canon Characters Keep in canon if you are one. I know we all love emo versions of the characters, but don't change things about someone if it's not like that in the movie. That's what OCs are for. 2. Character Limit You cannot have more than four characters, and only two of them are allowed to be canons. However, you cannot sign up for a second one until you have been an active character for a total of two weeks, and so on and so forth for each character after that. 3. Character Names First and last name only. Sure, captain_jack_rulz23 sounds much cooler than Jack Sparrow, but if you don't do it this way, you will be deleted and forced to sign up again. 4. Colors Post in dark colors only. That takes out yellows, oranges, pinks, grays, and everything of the sort. The first word is mutiny. If it's too bright, I will tell you through PM, and you will have one chance to change color choices before you are set to black only. This rule is exempted in the journals, diaries, photo albums, and OOC sections. 5. Posting You cannot have one liners. I require at least seven sentences, or two decent paragraphs. There is no way you can RP with something under that. 6. Person Third person use only, except in aforementioned areas. 8. Graphics You must have a face claimed within two weeks of being accpeted as a member, and have some sort of graphic [signature, avatar, or icon] within three weeks. 9. Applications Do not post them half finished. PM them to yourself with whatever you have, but unless everything is on them, it will be deleted. 10. Career, etc. I reserve all rights to deny you from being in a certain crew or from being a pirate all together. If I feel that there is an over population in one group and too few in another, character acceptance will be closed down in said groups. 11. Killing You are not permitted to kill any character unless you have received permission from them. This must also be sent to an Admin so that they are able to change the category of the said character. cBox Rules 1. Be Appropriate I don't want anyone - guest or not - to be popping in there and start flinging inapproriate words around. I have no problem with cursing or complaining about things, but if you're a Guest, of all people, don't you DARE come flinging anything around that you shouldn't be, namely insulting the site. I will ban you in a heartbeat. 2. Insulting Don't come in and complain about other people or other sites. Our second word is savvy. It's lovely that you don't like a place, but I really don't care so much as to want to hear it all the time. 3. Promoting Feel free to put a link in the alloted area, but DO NOT go posting it in the cBox context just to get things out there. If it's to, say, an Author's Page or a specific site that you do not own, go ahead, I do it all the time, but if you just created a board, sign up and go to the Plug Board. 4. Yeah....
