Hey, I'm a new member, so forgive me if I'm doing something wrong by asking this. I generally figure things out quickly, so I doubt you'll have to put up with many questions from me

At any rate, I've read the rules and FAQ, but I didn't see any specifications on female pirates. Are they allowed, and do you need special permisson to have one? Or can I create a female pirate character, as long as it's original and believable? Thanks for listening, and I'm sorry if the answer to this question was in some obvious place and I just missed it.

We've been meaning to put up something banning female pirate applications for a while; they're supposed to be rare, and there are too many on the site so far. We won't say they're not allowed, but we're not accepting any more female pirate applications at this time.

Thanks for the prompt reply I understand why you're not accepting female pirates at this time, I just wanted to check since I hadn't seen the answer anywhere. It makes sense, as it really isn't historically accurate to have a million female pirates running around
