Name: Niels Merins Gender: Male Age: 18 Height: 6'5" Weight: 70 kilos Physical Description: Long brown hair, that looks like it hasn't met a comb in ages, common blue eyes. He wears a thick shirt with a leather sleeve-less vest over it, and has brown long pants. He wears sandals, and he has three pairs of socks, one pair is green, one is red, and one is blue. Ofcourse, he doesn't wear them all at once, but changes them almost every day, it is one of the things that you just notice about him. Looks most like: Me Personality: Heroic, brave and intelligent, although he makes it difficult for others to know what he feels. He never seems to experience real sadness, fear or anger, but is happy most of the times. He is known to make a sarcastic comment every now and then. Power(s)(optional): He has studied wind magic, and knows enough to do some damage. He can even combine it with his sword. Upside to Power(s): It can blow small enemies away, and can cause small cuts from a distance. Combined with his sword, he can 'slash' at people from far away. Downside to Power(s): It takes some concentration, and wind magic isn't that focused, so some of it is wasted. It also has little to no effect on armor. Strengths: He has a broad range of talents (Sword, Lance, Bow, Wind-magic) which he can use in different situations. He can be quite fast, and also has much skills with the sword. He can also combine his spells with his sword. Weaknesses: He carries quite a few things around, which slows him down. Although his stamina and strength has improved, it's still mediocre at best. Still doesn't like fighting multiple opponents. History: Born in Kakariko, son of a Royal knight and his wife, he's quit a smart kid. He knows how to use most weapons, as he had a friend who's father was a blacksmith. He had led a fairly unadventurous life studying all sorts of things until Ganondorf took over. In some way inspired to defeat the evil in the lands, he had some adventures after Ganondorf was defeaten, and after his 16th birthday, he set out on a journey around Hyrule and Termina, looking for adventures and monsters to defeat. He greatly increased his skill in this period, and has also seen the chance to study some small magic underneath Habilderanosto Ferinamoltortar. Extra: Prefers to eat simple stuff, like cheese sandwiches. His hand are always cold, which might be noticed by people shaking hands with him. Zelda style RPG RPG Style: (Zelda RPG or Extra RPG) Hope this is good, I will probably have overlooked something though, like usual This post has been edited by GameNerd on Jun 28 2006, 12:00 PM

Unnecessary details rule Name: Mira Nickname: Mi. (Pronounced like 'My') Gender: Female Age: 17 Height: 5'8" Weight: 52 kilos Race: Zora Physical Description: She looks like an ordinary Zora in the sea, but on the land she is clad in a sleeve-less red dress, with a scarf covering a bit of the top. She also has a piece of cloth hanging from her dress, with a symbol on it; A circle with two horizontal parallel lines through it, and two diagonal lines forming a flattened cross. She has 4 golden bracelets, two on her upper arms, and two on the lower. They each have different carvings in them. Looks most Like (optional): Sage Laruto from The Wind Waker, without the harp, nothing on her head, and slightly different clothes. Image (optional): http://www.zeldalegends.net/gallery/catego...edia/laruto.jpgPersonality: She's shy and her voice isn't very loud, making her hard to hear if you're not paying attention. She treats others a bit as superior, and with lots of respect. She is very insecure about herself. She flatters others a lot, and quickly admires people even for small things. Mi doesn't think of herself as special. Power(s)(optional): She is very sensitive, and can learn things about people before they have introduced themselves. She herself says that she 'is just good at guessing, nothing more', which is perhaps the most accurate of all descriptions. She has the ability to create a charged electric field around her body. Her bracelets also give her increased resistances. The sister and brother bracelet give resistance against the cold and heat respectively, while the bracelets of her father give her the ability to walk freely on the land, without any restrictions, and the bracelet of her mother makes her more resistant to hunger. Upside to Power(s): It isn't mindreading, and you can't shield yourself from it. Whenever she meets a new person, she picks up a lot of things. The electric field hurts everyone who goes near her. The bracelets give her a lot of places she can go too as a Zora. Downside to Power(s): Her gift is passive, so she can't control it. Instead, these things just happen to come into her. She can't keep the electric field up for too long. When she loses the bracelets, the resistance goes away, and she'll be more vulnerable. The resistance is also based on the condition of her family Strengths: Very resistant against both heat and cold, making Fire and Ice magic weaker. Electricity doesn't hurt her much, except in the water. She can swim like the best, and is quit agile on the land aswell. Weaknesses: Weak against most weapons, and easily knocked out. She can faint when scared and she lacks real speed and stamina. She is easily lost aswell. History: Mi was born in Zora Hall. She had one older brother, and later got one younger sister. She got her gift at birth, although she kept it a secret to most people. She lived a good live in the Hall, never going away from it for a long while. On her 12th birthday, she was given her four special bracelets by her family, and each one represented one of her family members. She was fascinated by the land, and when she was 15, she went ashore for the first time, fascinated by the difference between sea and land. When she was 17, she went onto the land in order to see more of the world. Extra: She loves jewelry, and her dress is waterproof. RPG Style: Zelda RPG This post has been edited by GameNerd on Oct 17 2006, 08:55 AM

Two characters that I chose to put here, because I didn't want them to slip out of my mind. I have not much about them yet, though. Name: Edward Doloris Tyme Nick-Name: Sonic Ed/Soniced/Ed Gender: Male Age: 27 Hight: 5'11" Weight: 64 kilograms. Physical Description: Medium length brown hair combed backwards, and blue eyes. He wears a black leather jacket, with a dark blue shirt underneath it. He also has blue jeans, and brown sturdy shoes. He has a medium posture, not muscled, but not thin either. Personality: A bit reckless and dangerous, Ed is a guy who loves adventures, and has a knack for getting in trouble. He's also quick to pay compliments of someone of the opposite gender. Strengths: He has a wide range of gadgets to use, and he's very resourceful. He also knows his mechanics Weaknesses: Very, and I mean very reliant on his gadgets. Without them he can't do anything. Gadgets: Sonic Screwdriver: An device that looks like a small cylinder with a blue light at the end (Only on when used). ( http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/3...screwdriver.jpg ) It has many modes, and can be used for (but not limited to): Closing and opening locks (Mechanical and Electric, although some are resistant) repairing equipment, accessing computers, medical scanner, and to drive the occasional screw. It lacks offensive powers, though, and is quit fragile. If the battery is empty, it doesn't work anymore. Sonic Blaster: Quite a big gun, with the same blue light at the end, albeit somewhat bigger. It can work like a normal blaster, blasting things out of the way, and it can be used to digitise parts from walls, to form passage ways. It can digitise chunks of 1.5 square metre big, and one metre thick. It can also restore these chunks, to block the passage again. When the battery is empty, it won't work anymore, though, and especially the digitising eats batteries. Sonic Shoes: These shoes look brown and sturdy, but once activated they can make the wearer levitate short heights, and you can go at great speeds without moving. It is hard to keep your balance when doing so, though, and it's a bit hard to control. It won't levitate without battery power. History: Edward was smart, but wasted his talents at school, getting mediocre marks. He became a freelance mechanic/adventurer, though, and with money he earned, he could make his gadgets. He travels through the universe, and seldom leaves a bad impression. Extra: His brother's name is Justin. Don't make that joke, or Justin'll punch you. RPG Style: Extra RPG (What did you think? ) There, lifted that from my mind. I had too much inspiration on my hands This post has been edited by GameNerd on Jul 25 2007, 03:28 PM

New character: Name: Thoraxius Nick-Name (optional): Lord of bugs. Gender: Male Age: 34 Hight: 6'2" Weight: 70 kilos
Physical Description: A sturdy man with black hair, Thoraxius has a green armor covering his body, somehow resembling an insects exo-skeleton, and he even has two little antennae on his helmet. He's got a few muscles, but it doesn't show that much. He also has a cape which is made out of living beetles, and can go away when he orders them to. Almost everything about him is a bug-like green, except his hands, which are bare. His staff is thin and green, and at the top there's a beetle on it.
Personality: Thoraxius is a maniac, who believes bugs and humans should have equal rights. He tries to accomplish this whichever way works, meaning that if negotiating doesn't work, he'll get violent. He never seems to care about human life, while he gets angry if anyone even thinks about killing a bug. He's afraid of slugs, though, and he hates them.
Power(s)(optional): Total control over most bugs through his staff Upside to Power(s): When they're with many, the bugs are enough to cause damage on people, or to do jobs for him, like lifting him into the sky, or building things. They also have the ability of freaking out females (and certain males). He can also communicate with bugs through his staff. Downside to Power(s): Most bugs are weak on their own, and are easily crushed. He can't control bugs without his staff. Strengths: He can use the staff as a weapon on it's own aswell, as it's quite sturdy. His armor protects him from weak blows. Weaknesses: His armor is weak against stabs and hammer-like objects. He also dislikes fire and other things bugs dislike. His armor can restrict his movements a little.
History: Born in Kakariko village, Thoraxius liked bugs since he was a child. Bullies didn't like Thoraxius, though, and stepped on the bugs he studied. This made him dislike humans, who always seemed to kill bugs. When Ganondorf took over, he fled into the eastern forests, walking towards Termina, but never reaching it because he stopped to study the wildlife. On a day, strolling between Termina and Hyrule, he found a magical staff, which reflected the wishes of the person who held it. It transformed him into the maniacal person he is today, and gave him complete control over bugs. He trained this gift, and even used it to mutate ordinary bugs into superbugs... With these powers he is now heading towards Hyrule...
RPG Style: Zelda RPG

Name: Erlina Mittelsworth Nick-Name: She calls herself a variety of nicknames. Strider is one of the most common. Gender: Female Age: 20 Hight: 1 meter 68. which is about 5'7", I think Weight: 50 kilos. Physical Description: Erlina's has green eyes, that don't show much emotion besides a devious look every now and then. She has a small nose and mouth, and her long brown hair hangs down her back. Her body and legs are long and slender, so she can crawl through very small openings and run quite fast. Her clothes are made from leather, and have a light-brownish color. She wear a sleeveless vest, and a protective brown shoulder piece on her right shoulder. She also wears fingerless gloves that covers her hand and underarm. She has a brown belt, and a pouch on her right hip to put small things in. She has a hunting knife on her left hip, and a quiver either on her back or against her leg. Her leggings stop after her knees, and are almost immediatly followed up by her boots Personality: It can safely be said that no one knows anything about Erlina. She never speaks about herself, if she speaks at all. She doesn't take others in consideration either. She takes every opportunity to put herself at the top, and commits crimes without remorse. She wants herself to be completely independant, and won't easily accept help from anyone else Strengths: She can crawl through small openings, and is quite fast. She's an excellent huntress and can wield a bow like a pro. She's also really good with animals, and can tame them quite easily. Weaknesses: She's very light, and thus easily lifted. Although she's got a fair amount of physical stamina for a woman, she still lags behind most men. She's also a soloist and when with others, she fights for herself, instead of working together with others. Also, in close-up fights, her bow attacks won't help. Her social abilities are so-so at best. History: Born in a wealthy position, Erlina has a rich father, who had a job as a merchant, and therefor was almost always away. Her mother took care of her, often taking walks in the woods, as her mother loved plants, although she couldn't have a garden. When her mother was killed by Ganondorf, Erlina was upset enormously. Her father took her with him to Termina, setting up his business over there. He was still very busy, and didn't spend much time with his daughter. He tried to make her happy with expensive gifts, but since Erlina had no one to call a friend, this only made her feel more lonely. On her 14th birthday, when his father wasn't there, she ran away from home, taking some small things with her. Her father did everything in his power to find her, but to no avail. Running into the woods/swamp, she survived by eating certain plants, and later by hunting animals and eating them. She got her bow on her 16th birthday by trading it in for an expensive gemstone she had taken with her which came from his dad. Ironically, she bought the bow in her fathers shop, although another guy was in charge at the moment. She travelled to Hyrule and arrived shortly after Ganondorf had been defeaten. She avoids busy places, but can be found almost everywhere else. Whenever she needs money, she makes it by selling things found in nature. All this time on her own has made her silent and to herself, but not shy or afraid of people. Extra: She has a beautiful voice. RPG Style: Zelda-RPG I hope I'm thorough enough, but I probably have forgotten something. Oh, and by the way, this character was inspired by Guild Wars This post has been edited by GameNerd on Aug 22 2006, 03:01 PM

I'm trying one more 'villain'...
Name: Isard Nonamee Nick-Name: Gender: Male Age: 23 Hight: 1.76m -> 5'10" or something Weight: 75kg
Physical Description: He has short blonde hair and blue-green eyes. His face is thin and slightly pale. His ears stick out a bit and he's got a small chin. He wears a black tuxedo about everywhere, with a black bowtie around his neck, a white shirt underneath a black, expensive jacket, and a pair of black trousers above brown shiny shoes. He looks very neat and tidy most of the time, and gets angry when dirty. He is often seen polishing his shoes. He has a brown belt with several attachments, so he can carry things in it. He also conceals a dagger underneath his clothes sometimes.
Personality: He is obsessed with both evil and power. He's also very unsure of himself, which is why he bluffs a lot and chose to wear a suit that, according to him, 'generates respect.' He often appears as logical and calm, but when things turn out bad, he gets panicky and afraid, often raising his voice. When you catch him of guard, he can be seen acting nice, but when confronted with this, he'll deny it. If you question his 'evilness', he'll only get more ruthless and determined.
Strengths: He's good at bluffing, and he's quite resourceful. He also knows how to se traps. Weaknesses: In a fight, he can be taken down quite quickly. Also, he's got rather unconventional methods. He's only new to this whole villain thing, after all.
History: Isard was just an average guy, who always wanted to get famous. He tried his best, spreading his good, but people'd forget him as soon as he was gone. When he was sixteen, Ganondorf took over. He was surprised how easy this went for him, and noticed how everyone suddenly knew him. He was sure that if he would become a villain, and take over the world or do something like-minded, he would be known. This was just a though in the back of his head, but slowly it developed in his mind, until he was obsessed by evil, and the reason why was pushed into the background. When Ganondorf was defeated, he decided that it was time for him to kidnap the world and rule the princess! He, however, has no idea of how to do this, because he is still new to this kind of thing.
Extra: He likes to dance, and isn't unskilled at it either. His maniacal laughter needs some work, though. His insults aren't really threatening either.
RPG Style: Zelda RP
There it is, my villain, although he will be used as comic relief as well.

Well, I had a spark of inspiration:
Name: David Derring Nick-Name: Weasel Gender: Male Age: 28 Hight: 1m78 Weight: 64 kilo
Physical Description: Dave is long and thin, although not freakishly so. The most of his length is due to his long legs, which are quite muscled. His face is in good shape, without disfiguring scars and a smooth skin. He has a sort of blueish grayish eye color, and very short black hair. Clothes: Dave wears dark stretchy pants and a tight brown vest. Most of the time, coupled with dirty but reliable running boots. While he changed his clothes, most of the time it looks the same. Generally undyed clothing, which never has any loose flaps and is form-fitting.
Personality: While his nickname suggests otherwise, David is not a coward. He is more of an opportunist. Although he has morals, he sees the law as something he can discard if it's inconvenient. He is generally nice to normal people, and would not do anything to hurt them unless it would better him.
Strengths: David has a fair turn of speed, and can outrun anything on short distances. He has quite some endurance, too, making him a tough man to outrun. David is also very athletic, and can jump and climb his way through the city quite easily. Certainly easier than those guards with their heavy armor. Weaknesses: He carries no weapons with him, nor is he any good at fights. He'd rather run than fight, and if he can't run, he has a problem. David can't swim very well either. He can manage to stay afloat and swim around a bit, but not more than that. David will choose the water only as a final resort.
History: David has a bland history as a kid. When he was 17 years old, though, he fell out with his parents and left home as a result. The road took him to Hyrule City, where he tried to earn money as a stableboy. It was enough for food, and he had shelter in the stables. He was not satisfied with this job, though, and quickly quit as soon as he had some spare money. One day, he got into a spot of trouble with a guard, and he decided to run for it. The guard was hot on his tail, but David managed to shake him off. Someone had seen him, however, and was impressed. A guy that did not want his identity to be known wanted him to act as a private courier. He promised enough money for David to grudgingly accept. From time to time, David runs these messages and packages wherever they need to be taken, not knowing the contents. He also does some other odd jobs around the town to make ends meet.
Extra: While he dislikes to be in the spotlight most of the time, David can't resist a race, and will most likely show up.
RPG Style: Twilight Princess
Name: Durnet Nick-Name: Ol' Keys. Gender: Male Age: 57 Hight: 1m57 Weight: 170kilos
Physical Description: Durnet is a Goron. His eyes are a coaly black, and a rough skin that can be described as craggy. His only garment is a pair of trousers that are kept up on his shoulders, and a toolbelt for his hammer and other necessary tools. His pants have several holes and stains on them, and have seen much use.
Personality: Durnet is not as optimistic as his fellow Gorons. He prefers to be called a realist. He mostly treats people as they treat him. His respect is mostly limited to those who perform hard and necessary work, and those who actively try and make the world a better place. His respect is hard to earn, but if you have it, he has no problem cutting you some slack.
Strengths: As a Goron, he is very resilient to heat and physical blows. If he comes rolling towards you, you'd better jump out of the way. He is very proficient with his hammer, but mostly on metal. He is also very skilled in locks, and is able to make locks that are only pickable by experts such as him. Weaknesses: He sinks in water, and while he has wielded loads of weapons, he has mastered none.
History: Durnet had been selected as a smith early in his life, and has studied the arts of smelting and shaping metal as he sees fit for many years. Around his 21st birthday, he completed his training and could be called a master already. However, Durnet moved away towards Hyrule Castle in order to study human smithing, picking up even more tricks of the trade. Working together with a human called Perril, the two grew a mutual bond. When he heard there was trouble at the old mines, however, he grew restless, and excused himself in order to head home. There, he did all he could to prevent darkness from spreading, until the hero came and saved the day. After doing his best for the Gorons, he travelled back to Hyrule City to see Perril again. But in the time that had passed, Perril had had an unfortunate accident, and had to retire from his job. He left his workshop to Durnet, who wasn't planning on staying, but gratefully uses it.
Extra: Durnet now resides in Perril's old workshop, doing business for all who know to find him, as the entrance is hidden from sight.
RPG Style: Twilight Princess
Just curious, anyone else with TP characters?
