Hi all, It's been a long time since I actually worked on projects that I displayed publicly most of which were for Aurora Designs. But in this absence you all might have guessed I would have improved my modelling and texturing skills, and yes I have and I could say A LOT. So I thought I would actually work on an individual project to keep you guys updated as to how I design, but I did not get a chance cause I didn't know what to work on, until a few days back I got much inspired by this animal, a dinosaur rather, and decided to quickly do it before I lose inspiration, and I did, it is none other than the AMAZING SAUROPOSEIDON!

SAUROPOSEIDON

First off, the model is made from scratch, and the skin as well(which is 2048 x 2048 skin size) 'Cause I always felt as the animal gets bigger, the detail has to increase as well, and this is one large dinosaur. Now let me give the answers to the possible questions on this one.

1. What animations does the sauroposeidon use?

It would use the Giraffe's animations.

2. If it uses Giraffe's animations, it would look weird would it not?

No, because I have figured out how to completely restructure the bones of an animal, that I can actually make the bones like that of a sauroposeidon itself, meaning joints and such will be at the right points, hence making the sauroposeidon move as accurate as possible.

3. Is it made to be very slow like a real one would be?

Yes, it is made to move very slow, it has a very slow pace and a slightly faster pace, while babies move quite faster than the adults.

4. Sauroposeidons are quite big, would you make it have the actual size?

Indeed, but when you adopt you buy it as a Juvenile, which implies it would be small, in due course of time the sauroposeidon will grow into an adult reaching its full size.

5. Since the sauroposeidon is based on giraffe's coding, will it behave like just another dinosaur, like egg laying.etc?

Yes, thanks to my excellent coder, TTR, the Sauroposeidon has all the coding to behave just like a dinosaur ingame, for example coding for laying eggs, and getting shocked by fences, rampaging, breaking through buildings and trees are added.

So that's all about the Sauroposeidon, About the release of it, it would be as soon as I get the Rigging of the Model done, which won't take long, but I am quite unsure as to where I should be releasing it, if I release it, it would be only at that place as an exclusive, It would be ZT2DC most likely, but I have to think about it.

And also as I said, the Sauroposeidon is being excellently coded by TTR, thanks alot TTR! special thanks to Dragongod(Incinerox) for helping me get valuable references for building up the model and other details on this animal and also to KingHoopla for helping out TTR with some of the coding.

Lastly, I won't be making much individual projects, it would have long intervals, but I am sure as soon as Aurora Designs is revealed, we would keep you entertained smile.gif

Thank you!

What can a guy say after does images!

That is amazing by far the superior model I've ever seen in the ZT2 designing community.

I remember your earlier designs they where great back then but you really raised the bar Simba.

Congratulations!
