Ok. DG loves to overreact IMO, so it's time for me to clarify. (Sorry DG, but you know this is true.)

CC AND FS WEREN'T CANCELLED DUE TO THE PESTERING OF YOUNGER MEMBERS, OR DUE TO THE PACKS BEING LARGER THAN AVERAGE PACKS.

I really hope that's clear.

It is because of a long fued which goes back over two years. Now this was before I was a truely active member, so I don't know the whole story, so bare with me. For as long as I can remember, there have been... disagreements between certain members of the community. Now like I said, I don't know why, but "The Ch0des" (which somehow has become their names), HATE, WITH A PASSION, Zooa, DG, and ZTV. For those that don't know, "The Ch0des" are a certain group of members that like to hang at CBoxs. They originally consisted of:

I may be missing a few, but that's what I know off the top of my head. This was why Caldera was originally made. Because they hate Zooa, DG, ZTV, etc.

Now we fast foward to a few months ago, when name removed was fired from MMM. He was fired due to flaiming of Aurora Designs. This didn't sit lightly with him. According to him he was "betrayed" by DG. When he was kicked out, he PMed me, asking for the 6 dinos that he didn't manage to DL before losing Staff Room sight. Because he was one of my good friends in the community, I gave them to him. What harm would that do, since he has everything else, right? WRONG. Later that day, names removed, and I forgot who else was there, told me about this plan that they had to finish CC and release it at Caldera, before MMM did. I of course refused, but what good was that gonna do...

Soon they started this CC Plan site, and started working on CC. names removed, and other designers from Caldera, were asked to join and help in this operation. But thanks to names removed (who has been against all of the ZTV hackings, and CC Plan stuff since the beginning), hacked the CC Plan site and destroyed it. And with that most of these.... people were banned from ZTV.

So what did they do? They began to distribute CC. And thanks to name removed, who gave them FS, they began to distribute that aswell. Now other "haters" of ZTV and Zooa, such as names removed, have begun to distribute the packs aswell. They recieved them from name removed apparently.

My design team, Diverse World Designs was also recently hacked by names removed, TWICE! Keep in mind that name removed was actually on the team. I'll never make that mistake again. And why might you ask was DWD hacked? For the same reason ZTV was hacked, and CC and FS are being distributed.... They just don't like Zooa, DG, and now myself.

They only attack things, and flame things, affiliated with Zooa, DG, or ZTV. Notice how Artifex, or Aurora Designs wasn't attacked in anyway. Or any other team or site. BUT. These people have stated that if DG ever joins AD, which may happen if MMM ever falls, "that AD will officially suck, and the animals will all be over 9000 times their normal sizes", just cause the CC Dinos were oversized.

I really don't think that this inter-forum drama should really have been detailed in public. I have removed the names from Trexroarr's post for that reason. If you want to continue making a martyr of MMM, then fine, but we would prefer to not start more arguments on this particular forum.

Its a shame that your work was stolen and distributed in an unfinished state. However, as penguinman and others have stated, many members not concerned at all with goings on at other sites have waited eagerly for the pack, and were waiting for the real, finished product. Disagreements with certain individuals should not tar the rest of your fans. If everyone followed suit, no one would ever release anything.

Actually Shen, the names should have stayed. People wanted the reason, and there it is. I posted that at Caldera where all of theose people are members, and you know what? Most said they will stop the distributions of CC, and aplogised. This wasn't to cause an arguement. Yes it's nter-forum drama, but it answers what has happened to CC and why.

Hey, Trexroar, maybe you're not getting it, but we do have some rules to abide to here. We do not condone public drama announcements that are guaranteed to start some kind of trouble, we're just that against it. Argue what you want at other forums that allow it, but not here. This isn't some kind of social networking website where you can just fire away without expecting consequences from some kind of moderator. Great, you got some apologies as a result from posting that exact same post at Caldera, but then why did you need it here? Seriously, we're getting too many of these types of "inter-forum" arguments that are definitely not welcome at all.
