Does Somebody Have Blender With Windows 7 ?, A slow Blender

I don't know if it's the good place to talk about it but :

Does somebody have Blender with Windows 7 ?
And is Blender slow ?

Because I installed windows 7 and now Blender take a while for close windows or select a LOD

I installed every required things for Blender, like usual...

I can't find good explantions on web...

Haha, all new windows stuff *****.

Coz they use those 3D icons everywhere, and that needs a lot of cpu power.

Use XP or 2000, those are the only good ones.

Do you think that it's a problem betwenn 32 bits and 64 bits ?

Or Aero graphics in W7 ?


I still have windows xp on my other computer, but it is slower than this one...


And Windows xp will be not available anymore in june 2010...
No updates anymore, etc...
Everybody will need to take vista or 7...

I'm not going to take it, I still have 2000.

That might also cause it, try the 64 version.

turn of aero whe nyou load blender and see if it is faster, you must also remember that blender wasnt made for 7 exactly

I'd suggest posting your problem over at the blenderartists.org forum (or the official Blender forum), where they can give you more in depth support. After all, their forums specialize in the software itself.
