With ears slid back and her body all sluggish, she dragged herself all the way back to one of the most reclusive areas in Yamamori. Here she didn't expect for anyone to come and disturb her. Walking along with saddened eyes, she came close to the water's edge, the pond where many different colored fish swam about, and gazed into that sad reflection. Before her eyes she saw the once proud and happy-go-lucky girl that she had been. But since her trajedy with the heir she once thought that she had cared for, things were falling apart. Jurune was supposed to be getting closer to joining the pack, but now she was far from ever regaining her stregth and courage to where it needed to be. Yokushin had taken care of that. Constance had been spending her time taking care of the creature that had dared to show herself in the face of danger. What ever it was that had taken a hold of Yokushin that night, Constance still wasn't sure at all. Something must have snapped deep inside his mind due to all of that stress. Why did that boy have to worry so much? It was just madness! Honestly it was just all madness!
Constance layed down on the soft grass that had managed to grow out some here. She knew that this was where Yokushin's uncle was slaughtered last Summer, but she didn't really care all that much. Death was just something that didn't ever bother her. It was in her life all too much really to have any kind of effect. And so she just dismissed it unless it was someone really close to her. Speaking of which, she hadn't heard anything from her brother in a long time. Constance supposed that Dante was probably starting his own pack or something of that nature far off from where she was currently staying. Well that was just fine by her. Just as long as Dante was happy and prosperous, why should she spend her time worrying about him? Dante was smart and strong. Why shouldn't he be able to take care of himself? Constance tossed that thought idly aside for the time being, only to find herself once again thinking about more important matters. Turning her face a bit to look at the rest of the scenery, she caught the sight of some birds chirping away at her. Or were they cawing and chirping at something else? Those winged creatures were so strange and foreign to her. And at the same time, they were so annoying and she didn't see a reason for their actual existence.
Feeling the heat beating down on her from the openings of light coming from the trees ahead, Constance felt that it was probably in her best interest to get cool from the water somewhat. But she wouldn't have to stay in long, for it seemed that the day was almost over any way. The sun was beating down on her, perhaps trying to make good use of what ever energy it just happened ot have left. Constance got up from her sad wallowing, and then walked gently into the water. The blue liquid rushed all over her different hued pelt in small waves and felt cool to the touch as she got in. She could feel the soft dirt and sand crush beneath her weight and get caught in her toes. Wiggling her paws around, the sandy dirt felt sort of ticklish and good. The agouti female walked around in the water, letting it soak all up in her pelt. She felt the water calming her very being and relaxing her muscles. Yes, this was turning out to be a good day after all. Unless something else decided to smack her in the face.

ohai. I'm implying Rina doing things, if you don't like, swat me. ;D | Yokushin had actually been feeling a bit better lately. It felt strange to not be consumed by awful sorrow and debilitating angst. He had spent most of his life that way, either fretting over Mother and the war going on around his puphood, to her passing, now to his apparent "selective rabid" kind of behavior which still made no sense. Thankfully it had not come back lately, so far only being a one time sort of thing which he supposed was okay. He figured he could live with being rabid only once which was a million-billion times better than rabid on a weekly basis.
Anyway, he had been spending time with one of Yamamori's newest wolves, Rina. He enjoyed her company, she was nice and upbeat which probably had something to do with his feeling better. In fact, she wasn't far now as they had done some hunting prior to this so there was no hungry going on in the least. Yokushin wanted to get her all settled into the pack and fixed up in a cozy den so that she would have a place to stay. He had also talked to her a bit about the pack's history, its noteworthy locations and all that jazz. He had figured it was best to put his lifetime of living here to good use to show her around.
Just ahead though, he could see the viney place he had spent most of his pup hood after his siblings had been stolen. It made him wonder about his sister Aiyoku for a moment and how he had seen absolutely nothing out of her in a long time. He had figured she was missing, or had left due to her Omega status but little did he know that he was the reason for her departure from the pack lands. But, no one else had been around to see what they had done, the terrible, terrible event that had transpired between the two siblings so there just wasn't anyone around to tell him about it. Of course, that was probably a very good thing for Yokushin.
He merrily trotted along when he recognized a familiar scent. His breath froze for a second because it was Constance. That wasn't necessarily a bad thing but she had apparently witnessed him while he had been "rabid" so she knew some of his dirtiest, nastiest secrets. Nonetheless, he offered a little awkward smile to her and glanced to Rina quickly. "Hi." he said, tail giving a few faint wags. Hopefully she didn't hate him and all he stood for because he had beaten up Jurune, but he wouldn't know until she reacted to him.

Gliding along in the water was quite pleasant to the young wolfess. Her coat was now soaked up and her body was now relaxed. She even allowed a faint smile to appear on her lips from time to time. Every single worry escaped her mind for the time being, practically due to the very nice day and soon to be night she was having. In fact it was probably time that she got out of the water and went to rest up for a while. Turning around to get out of the water, Constance was soon faced with probably the one creature she wasn't at all sure if she was ready to see yet. And what made matters a bit more awkward and such, was the fact that there was another wolf with him. And not just any wolf. Oh no, he had to bring along another girl. Jealousy burned inside of her, along with just about every other emotion you could possibly think of. Constance tried very hard though to not let any of those emotions show. And so instead, she got out of the water and shook herself dry. Then managed to present herself properly to the two.
"Hello Yokushin. I see you've brought along a new friend. Who might you be?" Her voice was surprisingly cool and collected. There was a confidence there that seemed to be a little forced out. But she felt like she didn't really have any other choice. She didn't want Yokushin to know that there was indeed something wrong with her. But at the same time, she really craved for that loving attention he had given her a few nights ago. Even if he was off his rocker that night, she still loved it to a certain degree. Now she was just upset that he probably had forgotten all that had occurred and no longer felt the way that she did towards her. It was really quite a shame and an unsettling thought for the poor woman. Constance tried her best thought to look happy or at least nonchalant for the most part. "You may call me Constance by the way. It's nice to see a new face around here for once." The vixen partially lied through her teeth. She wasn't at all happy to see someone like her running around with Yokushin. Now he wasn't hers at all. But Constance would do almost anything to have him all to herself. Even resort to violence if the need occurred.
But she kept her cool none-the-less. Instead she watched the both of them with keen eyes and not letting her emotions shine through. No, this time she couldn't wear her emotions out on her paws at all this time. If she let anything get through to the heir or the new girl, only bad things could possibly transpire between the three. And she knew damn well that the heir did not need any bad occurrences these days, especially after his mishap with her and Jurune; not to mention his dilemmas with Ratha. Yep, Yokushin had gotten himself into a lot of trouble lately. And it was about to get worse most likely.

sorry this post is shortish, I gotta walk the dog. X: | Yokushin had absolutely no idea of the jealousy that burned in Constance. He was, as an oblivious male generally was, blissfully unaware as of now. He didn't think he was worth anything anymore, especially since he was apparently diseased and all scarred up and stuff. Plus, he had apparently done some really awful things while he had been in his diseased state. Obviously he wasn't that much to be excited over. "This is Rina, she's pretty new still so we've been hanging out" he said with a lame little smile and swish of his tail. Constance went on to introduce herself so Yokushin didn't need to do that much, but he smiled faintly nonetheless, entirely oblivious to everything. To him, Constance seemed pretty normal and calm but he wasn't a female and they perceived things a little differently than dense males tended to, especially around matters like this. He turned his yellow eyes to Rina for a moment to see how she was feeling about all of this but he really wasn't all too worried about it because he didn't know there was anything to worry about. "How've you been? We just hunted." he said, flickering his tail some more. His wounds weren't bothering him at the moment and his stomach was full and nice so he was a pretty happy clam. | table by zina

"It's nice to meet you, Rina. This place could use some more new faces." Constance said with a small smile. She let her tail sway from side to side just a little bit. Constance could tell that Rina had caught on just a little bit at her slight dissruption in emotions. But thankfully she couldn't quite get the meaning behind her controlled hostility. "It sounds like you two have been getting along quite well. Glad you are having fun." Constance spoke again, the tone of her voice a little bit cooler then it was earlier. She walked past them both and stretched out on the soft grass. She then stood back up and looked to the nice pair. Bleh, it kind of made her cringe a little bit in a more disgusted manner of course. She didn't like sharing Yokushin with other girls at all. It made her sick to her stomach. She didn't want to have to feel like she was going to lose him at any second. No, she didn't like that feeling at all. But the agouti colored wolfess decided that she would have to make the most out of this situation. "So what brings you two way out here? Are you re-visiting some of your old childhood memories, Yoku?" She asked him then returned his his question.
"As for myself, I've just been getting around. Jurune is able to get around on her own now thanks to me. She's still got a huge limp from that wound, but she'll live. She's not starving to death any more. I'm doing just fine for myself for the most part though." She kind of half lied. Jurune was physically doing better for herself. But Constance knew all too well that the poor girl was emotionally damaged for life. It was going to take one Hell of an effort to get that girl to come around now. Thanks to Yokushin's stupid stunt a few nights ago, Constance was now probably one of the only wolves that Jurune would ever trust in her lifetime. It was really quite sad to say really. But soon that would all have to change for the smaller warrior. Soon she would have to join the pack and not be so distant from everyone. She would have to learn that she could depend on others for help when ever the need arose. As for Constance, the girl's disposition took a jagged turn. She was a bit more bitter towards males these days, and her trust in others diminished somewhat. The agouti female learned to just worry about herself and no others, except for Jurune of course.
Constance looked to the girl called Rina, her eyes looking her over quite a few times before making any real assessments. Rina was slightly smaller then Constanace, with darker and richer tones of color to her pelt which made her look disgustingly pretty for sure. Again her jealousy came back up, and it made her want to lash out and just snap at the woman. Constance kept her composure though and just smiled warmly at the two. No one could see just how much this effecting her. No one.

I always come with a pile of excuses but I have to go grocery shopping but I wanted to throw this up in a hurry so you guys didn't have to wait on my sluggish ass. D: D: D: <3333 | Yokushin wasn't all the perceptive whees n it came to most things, plus, Constance was masking it well. He laughed gently when Rina added her little bit to what he had said and then he went on to listen about Jurune. It...kind of drug down his mood a bit because he now felt quite guilty about Jurune. He wished there was some way to make it up to her, but he doubted that the odd girl would even want anything to do with him after this. He had simply failed her too many times so he would be understanding if she no longer wanted him to be a part of his life. "That's...good to hear." he said, ears splaying to the sides a little because of the mood it brought to him. "If.. she doesn't totally want nothing to do with me, I understand, but can you tell her I'm sorry?" he asked, glancing to Rina from the corner of his eye. He felt bad for talking about this with her here because she had very little idea of what had happened. He didn't really want to tell her. Hopefully there weren't too many hard feelings between him and Jurune, but he really doubted it. "Jurune was someone I hurt when I was acting rabid." he said quickly to Rina as a speedy little briefing of the subject. "But I don't remember it at all still." he concluded, rolling his shoulders in a shrug. "Anyway though, that stuff is kind of depressing.." he went on to say, but he had no other subject matter to offer! He drawled off and left a funny little pause so that someone else could chime in if they so pleased.

Lowering her tail a little bit, she was a little dissapointed that she didn't want to have any more fun. Constance was a little bit more of a night wolf to be honest, so she was ready for some good times. She looked over to Yokushin, ready to see if he would come along with her, even if it wasn't for swimming. "Well that's quite alright. You can go along to the denning areas if you want. I'm just going to stay out a little bit more. I'm not quite tired yet or anything." Constance said with a small and care free smile. She then looked a bit deeper into Yokushin's pretty gold eyes. "What shall you be doing, Yoku? Will you be going with her?" She was a little hopeful that he would at least stay with her for a little while longer. Constance was in need of his attetion, and so badly wanted to get some things off her chest. There was more of a self-consious look on her face, and her whole body posture grew a little more rigid. Constance wasn't ready at all for him to leave. No, not just yet. She still wanted him around almost more then anything.
In a way, the older woman was ready to forgive Yokushin for what he had done to her. But she wasn't quite ready to forgive him for what he had done to Jurune. That poor wolfess probably would never have the chance for a normal life again thanks to the heir. But at least she was living still and had a chance to come back into the pack. Any way, Constance just wanted to clear some things between them more. She wanted answers to the strange ways he was acting around her. All of those compliments and such that he was giving her just didn't seem at all like what the normal Yokushin would've done. Did he even feel anything for her at all? The tawny wolfess really felt like she needed to know some of those answers, if he could even give any to her in the first place. Constance walked over to them a bit closer and then sat down. She was trying her best to look as comfortable and such as physically possible. But it didn't seem like it was working out too well for her. No, not too well at all.

| Yokushin could feel a few tingles of tiredness working through his muscles. He had actually put in a pretty full day considering everything. Lately his duties had been shrugged aside in favor of laying in a sad heap somewhere secret in the pack lands, but within the last week he had forced himself back at them and during his time off he had rusted a little. Not much, of course, but he did realize he wore out a lot faster than he used to. He had a feeling that soon he would work to be back to normal, it was just a difficult road to getting there. Nonetheless, he nodded when Rina answered for him. He was good on swimming and water sports for today having already had quite a fill. When Constance went on to say that Rina could go on ahead, and Yokushin glanced from female to female, finally noticing something slightly amiss between them. They just didn't seem all too chummy with each other, more like... barely interested in each other at all. For now, all he could do was shrug it off because Constance asked him what he was going to do. He slicked his ears back, totally indecisive. "Well I did tell Rina I'd help her look for a den..." he said, shuffling his feet a bit. That much was true because he had told her that, but something didn't feel all the way right with Constance. Was she mad at him for what he had done? That was really why he was considering talking to her for a second but at the very same time he didn't want to get into that depressing crap. "I uh..don't know?" he asked, golden eyes wide as he glanced from female to female. He was effectively torn in two and hoped that maybe one of them could sway him in a good direction.. | table by zina

(November)
We are now nearing the end of what has been a chill Autumn season. Things continue to cool down considerably and we are now starting to see the first signs of snow, ice, wind, and bitter cold in the northern areas. Many days are cast with grey skies, but occasionally we still have some sunshine. This sun is not like to last for long, and it is still terribly cold even when it is shining brightly. So far the human issues to the West have calmed down somewhat but probably only because of the colder weather. Meanwhile, life in Yamamori continues, though perhaps something sinister is in the works.
Temperatures for the month will remain from 30-50 degrees with a 70% chance of rain, snow in the northern areas. Storms are likely and will include violent wind, heavy downpours, sleet, and possibly snow.
The litter of puppies is now seven months old. They have a good hold on language even though they're still learning somewhat. They have lost all of their baby teeth and can now practice hunting skills, but they will have to wait until they are eight months old to participate in pack hunts. They can only capture smaller animals for now and need to be taught to improve.
