So... yeah. This year's my first crack at Nanowrimo. Is anyone else doing it? Can I have some tips on how to make it? :P

...Yeah, I'm pretty nervous. It's so close, and though I have a plot I've been trying to write out for a while that I want to use, I don't think I can do it. D: Fifty thousand words is looming over my head like a curse. >> AND I HAVE SCHOOL AND MIGRAINES, HOW CAN I FIT IT IN?! x_x

Bleeeugh, maybe I should start spewing my plot everywhere to try and calm down. I like boasting about my plots. x3

I've never dabbled in nano before because I have a very VERY hard time getting motivated to write just about anything outside of RP. I also wouldn't ever be able to adhere to a deadline and a word requirement! X_O Plus, school has all of its needs and wants that I have to deal with. In short, I suck and my contribution to this thread is useless. :D :D

DUDE I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT NANOWRIMO OMG.

First off, if you haven't done it yet, SIGN UP ON THE WEBSITE. It's helpful. I've tried the last few years and wasn't aware there was a website and I failed miserably.

I'll be stupid busy this November. I'm even going to DisneyLand for five days without computer access but I'M SO EXCITED OMG. Boasting about plots is helpful even though people generally don't care. Rofl. I love it. I haven't shut up about my book to people yet and I'm totally pumped. I'm going to start writing at my friend's house this weekend at precisely 12:01am

Yeah, I'm on the site. ^^ My plot involves crazy paladins as puppets for what they're supposed to hate and fight against, a girl whose every move causes chaos, and... dragons. LOTS OF DRAGONS. =D Yeah, it's more than that, but it feels weird to not be cryptic about it.

SWEET.

Mine is post-apocalyptic and involves real vampires (not retarded, sparkly ones) and real werewolves that kill and eat people. There is much gore and violence. The humans have run out of resources like oil, but there's magic that some people know how to use like the elves. Though, the elves are Tolkien's worst nightmare because most of them suck and are dead. Most of them are actually elf-human hybrids now anyway because they were almost completely wiped out by the vampires pretty quickly. The people in the story are trying to find a place to set up a permanent camp to survive in, since humans are an endangered species. My main character ends up falling in love with a vampire because she goes a little insane from some stuff, and ends up being killed and eaten, but lots of other stuff happens.

It will blow Stephanie Meyer out everyone's ass.

Yamamap
Weather
(November)
We are now nearing the end of what has been a chill Autumn season. Things continue to cool down considerably and we are now starting to see the first signs of snow, ice, wind, and bitter cold in the northern areas. Many days are cast with grey skies, but occasionally we still have some sunshine. This sun is not like to last for long, and it is still terribly cold even when it is shining brightly. So far the human issues to the West have calmed down somewhat but probably only because of the colder weather. Meanwhile, life in Yamamori continues, though perhaps something sinister is in the works.

Temperatures for the month will remain from 30-50 degrees with a 70% chance of rain, snow in the northern areas. Storms are likely and will include violent wind, heavy downpours, sleet, and possibly snow.

The litter of puppies is now seven months old. They have a good hold on language even though they're still learning somewhat. They have lost all of their baby teeth and can now practice hunting skills, but they will have to wait until they are eight months old to participate in pack hunts. They can only capture smaller animals for now and need to be taught to improve.
