I love Rogue and Gambit. And write them LOTS, sometimes with partners, sometimes not. So here are a few links for you to some stories archived in my LJ memories:

Seven Deadly Sins - solo. COMPLETE. Adult. Captivated by Rogue, Gambit joins the student body at Xavier's, where the pair of them move through the seven deadly sins of Greed, Gluttony, Wrath, Sloth, Envy, Lust and Pride as their relationship develops. (movie/evo-verse)

Freedom And Necessity - w/ Eyelessblade. COMPLETE. Adult. In the dark underbelly of Prohibition-era America, the seductive mutant Rogue will do literally anything to retain control over her powers, even serve the nefarious needs of evil Clan Akkaba. But when her work requires her to murder an entire group of not-so-innocent Assassins, the stakes become too high. She turns to the best thief in the world, one Remy LeBeau, in order to help her complete her mission and regain her independence. But her secrets are ones that he’d kill to know, and her actions are ones that he’d die to avenge. (So AU that it will likely hurt. Based in 616. Sorta. Bring Kleenex, though.)

The Reeducation of Remy LeBeau - w/ SciFiGrl47 and others. WIP, Originally game based, but I took it and ran (with the permission of the other players, of course!). Teen/Adult. X3 never happened. Jean rose from Alkali Lake several months after X2, to be greeted by Magneto/the Brotherhood and a team of X-Men, both of whom wanted her, for entirely different reasons. She left with the X-men. Rogue, feeling guilty that her powers have brought Pyro low, argues to be allowed to bring him back to the school. Grudgingly, she is given permission by the senior X-Men present. To her surprise, a mysterious stranger, at the old base for his own purposes, is interested in making sure an unconcious person does not become a dead one.

Duplicity - with Eyelessblade. ADULT, dark themes. Buffy/Xmen Crossover. Angel, Cordelia, Gambit, Rogue, Willow, Xander. Lotsa cameos, too. COMPLETE. Victorian London is terrified by a series of mysterious, brutal murders and unsolved kidnappings, hotly investigated by a famous detective. Can a confirmed rake, thief, and gambler manage to evade the entrapping web of his own criminal associations and defeat the Sherlockian mind of the vampire-turned-hero? Or will the sensual distraction of a beautiful American widow prove his downfall?

Hunter/Hunted - with ADarkerShade-X. ADULT, dark themes, many character deaths. Buffy/Xmen crossover. Angelus/Rogue, again lots of cameos. WIP with very irregular updates.
Angelus: In a post-NFA world, Angel has lost everything: his Shanshu signed away, his friends dead... and his soul gone, worn to nothing but rags that aren’t enough to stop Angelus from rising to take control. Humans are hard to find, most far too fragile to have survived the Apocalypse. But a new breed of prey has emerged from the ashes... or perhaps they were there all along. Mutants. Angelus discovers that prey that fights back just… tastes better.
Rogue: Nuclear War becomes the final solution of terrified humans, running scared from Homo Superior. Billions die to slaughter a few thousands... civilization will never rise again. But in the ashes of a terrifying new world, Rogue discovers that mutants aren't all that humans should have been fearing, and that demons think mutants are just a little more fun to hunt. Rogue would much rather be the hunter than the hunted.

Promised Land - with Eyelessblade. ADULT, slave!fic. Rogue/Gambit. WIP with regular updates (T/Th). The world ended not with a bang, but a whimper, when the Plague swept the United States and then the world, throwing civilization into chaos. Murdering bands of raiders and mutants brutalize tiny settlements of survivors, while in a small corner of Manhattan, Remy LeBeau leads a group of people who want something more. But when they are attacked by a vicious young mutant with more power than he's ever seen, can the risk of trying to tame her be worth the cost?

A new story, set in the Evo!Verse:

The Art of a Con, written by your very own Rogue and Bishop! (goes AU during Season 1, "Rogue Recruit." ADULT and strong with the naughty. And the action. And the romance.)

Summary: Rogue's world turned upside down at a school dance when she accidentally absorbed a star quarterback and discovered she was a mutant with an awful gift. When Xavier and his team of do-gooders came chasing after her with shiny happy recruitment speeches, she chose instead to make a deal with her adopted mothers, and won two years of freedom studying art and adjusting to her mutation in New York City. But Mystique's come up against a dangerous deadline, and even if she has to hire a couple of less-than-reputable members of the LeBeau family to kidnap Rogue, she's getting her daughter back. Now.

X3 never happened. Jean rose from Alkali Lake in January, nearly a year after X2, to be greeted by Magneto/the Brotherhood and a team of X-Men, both of whom wanted her, for entirely different reasons. She left with the X-men. Gambit was there, met Rogue, and followed her back to the school.
Chapter Summary: Remy wakes the mansion. Plotting progresses apace in New Orleans, and world events march onward (dread foreshadowing, ooh!).
