It was unbearably hot, as it always was in Loff'ta. Rosko could feel every bead of sweat that dripped down his body. His mask that covered his face was wet with sweat as he baked under his black armor. He could never figure how he once livied in such a place but then again while he was young he could never understand how people could live in the darkness of the death nation. To most these open fields would be a wonderful and beautiful site with the sun that beat it's rays on the wheat that grows in the feilds that were scattered about creating a yellow glow about the land that made the world seem alive about him. It was truly an amazing sitre for most except Rosko who dreaded the place. As the whole of Elghinn would agree they much prefered the shadows of their own death stricken lands. Rosko never enjoyed his cisits to Loff'ta or any other nation other then Elghinn and Chath for he has grown very accustomed to their enviroments and how the people act within them but it had been his mission, his duty to scout the Akamu jungles and even though he had a few difficulties with it he had gotten it done. He wasn't thrilled to have ended up in Loff'ta but he he preffered it to the jungles since they were very difficult for him to move through much unlike these open feilds. He also figured it would give him a chance to find a faster way back to Elghinn rather then walking the whole way back which proved to be a very long and trip.

Rosko had walked for several hours before he came upon a city. It was a fairly large city but capaired to some of the others within in the nation like Eradil it was nothing of note within the nation. Even though he knew he would be able to find someone selling a horse somewhere within the city. He walked cautiously into the city knowing that he wasn't exactly the most welcomed of people within the nation but he was at least for now not an enemy to them so he figured they would pay little mind to him. The streets were flooded with people moving every which way, trading with merchants on the streets, or merely stopping to talk to someone else it was somewhat chaotic. It was a different type of chaos from that of Elghinn for people kept clear of each other avoiding each other while in Elghinn people would bump shoulders and fights would break out in seconds but here a fight was hard to find even for those that are looking for one. Rosko of course was not looking for one because he knew he stood out in the crowd and that if anyone were to fight him he would probably have them all against him which would prove to be pretty dificult for him. It was odd being in this place before for he remembered the last time he walked down the streets of one of Loff'ta's streets, it had been the day he marched with the armies out to fight the death nation. He was in full armor and was returning back to the army after wishing his family a good bye. As he walked through the streets though it was much different for he was cheered almost as people looked upon him honored. Now as he walked through the nation with the only thing on him changed being the color of his armor people looked on in horror and mistrust. It was odd what a color could do to people's veiws.

(I figured you were getting lonely)

Loff’ta certainly was a strange place for a youngling out of the caves of the Air nation, and everything around her burned immensely brighter. It seemed even as if the streets were gleaming, perhaps it was because the whole nation gave off an air of cleanliness that was certainly not accustom to the caves. Surely they bathed, but not everything was so spotless. Sitting off to the corner, contained the shade of a traders’ kiosk, basking in the shade and watching the citizens pass her, buzzing happily in their little lives. A black figure that passed before her caught her eye indefinitely and Samara leaned as she watched him walk on unknowingly. She stood quickly, scrambling from the street and shuffling through the crowd to follow the darkly clothed figure in a city of brightness.

He seemed so be some sort of soldier, the armor being majority of a hint and his black clothing which instantly repelled all those around him must belong to none other than the Death Nation, Elghinn. She smiled as she bobbed along through the crowd, following him out of pure, innocent curiosity. “Wow,” she muttered amazed at how gracefully he moved with the thick armor encasing him. “He truly is a Death Nation soldier,” she spoke softly as she continued to follow him at a sufficient distance.

(I was getting a little lonely)

Rosko felt completely out of place as he walked the streets knowing every eye stared at him wondering if he was going to try and pull something on them. They probably thought that he was going to just suddenly start killing people but that was the farthest thought from his head and if for some reason he did do that he would be vastly out numbered and would stand little to no chance at all to even living the fight. He was here for one purpose only and that was to find a fast means of travel to get himself home to where he knows and belongs but as he continued down the street he realized for the first time that it would be quite difficult to do so because the people would never help him find his way through the town though he was obviously lost and second many of the horse breeders would be reluctant to sell one of their horses to someone they think will probably just use it as a means of killing more people though Rosko was never one to fight on horseback as his weapons were too small for such a mount. He actually suprised no guards had been called on him yet which he knew would just be another hasle he would have to deal with being the guards who would try to rush him out of the city or just try to arrest him upon sight which was something he was use to other nations doing but Loff'ta always tryed the non-violent approach he found which involved letting the person go and watching him closely. If he acts out of line then we try to arrest him but if nothing happens then he is free to roam. He just hoped that this town was like most others in the nation.

Rosko did hate hearing all the people talking about him in nothing more then a whisper to the person next to them. Most of what they said were rumors they heard about the death nation and it's soldiers. He even heard one lady say that she heard to become a soldier you had to kill your mother which Rosko could only laugh at a rumor like that for many times soldier's mothers stood on the battlefield as well. Even though most of the rumors were so outrageous that they were funny it still annoyed him and he tryed to move faster hoping to get out of the town but he still had little idea of where he was going so just to avoid the people he turned down a seemingly empty alley stopping to think. He could not just continue to roam about the town for eventually the guards will grow tired of him and kick him out but he knew no one would help him so he was almost stuck like that. He continued to stand in the alley as he also regained his compsure among other things so that the comments he will surely get won't antagonize him enough to kill one of them which would bring on a world of new problems.

Samara continued following the soldier as he moved through the crowd, and she suddenly noticed that Samara did not seem to be the only one that was whispering about him, and nor was she the only one following him, but rather a couple of what seemed to be Loff’ta soldiers blew past her, following the Elghinn soldier closer than she. Frowning she upped her pace to something of a jog, being so short and tiny, she weaved throughout the crowd, finding the thoughts that jumped into her head of stealing from the purses of those that she can centimeters from, but then she know that she’d loose this soldier that she was tailing.

For some odd fancy struck her from him, His mystery was pouring off of him in waves, like a sweet melody that enticed Samara’s senses and she could not stop herself from following him like he was luring her with a hypnotizing song and a free, easy meal.

In her musings, she stopped saying aloud to herself, “I’ve lost him!” She shook her head in every direction, turning around in a small circle, searching for the man’s distinctive black clothing, yet she could not see him. As a last resort she jumped, trying to look for him above the crowd of people passing around her in every direction.

Soon Samara found herself being pushed and pulled in different directions because of the tight congestion of human traffic in these certain area of shops, and she could do nothing but allow them to pull her along with the stream of people until she felt as if she could not breathe and that she would drowned in the horrid masses of Loff’ta. Fortunately she took refuge in a side alley, panting to catch her breath, bending over and resting her hands on her knees, keeping herself propped up. And when she finally looked up, she discovered herself to be in the company of the very Death Nation soldier that she had been tracking.

“Oh!” she gasped. Pushing her body tightly up against the wall behind her, she now saw his presence as intimidating as well as intriguing.

Before Rosko could think anymore a sudden women stood before him in the alley. He was at first confused then almost in enraged as he slowly walked towards her. He stared directly into her eyes as she looked up though his eyes were covered closely by the black fabris that uniquely adorned his face. He had when he first saw her beleived himself to be back in the death nation and any time you were found in an alley with someone you didn't know they were sure to try and mug you or something of that sort so when he saw her enter he immediately assumed she was looking for a fight and had grabbed his blades on his back unsheating both as he approached her waiting for her to strike at him or at least pull a weapon of her own and when she didn't he hesitated and looked around and realized instantly that he was not in the death nation but rather in a nation where such a crime as mugging was so frowned upon that it barely exsisted in the largest of cities so the odds of this to truly be an attempted mugging was so slim that he he pulled himself back almost ashamed at how he had disgraced the nation in a way yet it was not his nation to disgrace though it once was. It once was unheard of to think the way that he was trained to think the way that was now inbredded in him to think and as time moved on only became more a part of him with every passing year until now to think of himself as ever part of a nation like this seems absurd though it was once the only thing he beleived in. How time had changed him but even as he thinks more like what he had been trained to do he never could get his heart past what he once was.

He tooked upon the women who was now standing in the alley with him for only a second before dropping his eyes down to the daggers he held in his hands. He thought for a few seconds before he slowly moved his hands back to their sheaths and let his eyes raise to the women's once again taking a few steps back. He was just trying to let the whole situation sit in his head right for he was still trying to regain his composure from his walk through the streets and she had done nothing more then suprise him and he reacted the way he would have back home but it was a completely different world and such a reaction was not only unneeded but completely out of line for how this nation works. He was sure that soon enough this women would have the whole town in arms against him which is exactly what he didn't need right now. "I'm sorry. I, uh, You startled me and this is how I know to react. To react any other way ussually means an early death." His eyes dropped abit as he spoke as they finnally rested on the ground he could only wait for her response.

(I know that it's not a lot but i figured since it's been a while you might have apprieciated the update smile.gif )

When he pulled the daggers upon her she gasp, trying to hold it back but it seemed to slip through in her panic. Her eyes shifted around as he stepped toward her menacingly and then he stopped. She pressed herself up against the wall behind, using every coiled muscle to keep herself flat and as small of a target that she could become before him.

He sat there for a few moments still as a cat ready to pounce and Samara held in her breath, unsure as to if he was still going to attack her. Her heart was beating rapidly in her chest and she couldn’t do anything to make it stop. This Death Nation soldier was truly going to kill her in an alley in Loff’ta which was going to be a true shame, because at that time and place, Samara knew that one day she was destined to do something great. She wasn’t exactly sure what it was but there was just something that loomed above her in the future that she knew she had to do.

When he slowly put away the daggers and apologized looking down she was even more shocked then when he pulled the weapons upon her. “What?” she questioned confused. “It’s okay,” she stuttered, “you, you startled me as well. I was more afraid of you I believe than you should be of me,” she mused slightly, smiling a small smile at the solider before her, before quickly wiping it off of her face, thinking that he may perhaps find it inappropriate and kill her anyway. “I just saw you and I had to know what you were doing here in the Nation of Light.”
