Whitecross Stables has come a very long way, starting out as a small private farm and blossoming into a large, state-of-the-art equestrian facility. Each generation gave something different to Whitecross. Before the present generation, Whitecross closed down for a period of time. Matthew Whitecross could no longer keep the stable running efficiently. The barn simply collected dust for a couple years, wasted and forgotten. However, once Ashley Whitecross was old enough to handle horses, and more importantly, herself, she thought about owning her own stable. She made frequent visits to the old Whitecross Stables, dreaming of what the magnificent stable used to be. After some serious planning and daydreaming, Ashley asked her father is she could ressurect Whitecross and run it under the loving hand he so proudly used to do. Of course, Matthew happily obliged and Ashley was free to do as she pleased. It took a huge effort, a lot of fresh paint, elbow grease, and an innovative, yet tasteful, imagination to lift the old barn back onto its feet. However, Ashley pulled this feat off soon enough. Now Ashley has re-opened Whitecross to the public. Only time will tell what will become of the renovated equestrian center.
