Registration- Before anything else, even before creating an account, read the rules. I believe I have made that very clear so far.
- Once you have thoroughly read all the rules, you may register. Always register with a kit name. For example, do not create a username like: i_luv_warriors, or loonylovegood3343. However, MitKit is acceptable, but mitkit, Mitkit, or mItKiT aren't acceptable. Your username is your character's name. Your username CANNOT be related to any celebrity, canon character, or character from another book. It has to be original.
- Once you have registered, wait approximately two days and then you may post your sorting form. In those two days, an admin will validate you, but until an admin validates you, you may not post your sorting form.
- When posting your sorting form, be sure to follow all sorting rules and to be very detailed and descriptive to have a much quicker sorting. If you do not follow rules, your sorting will take much longer and that is not our problem, so don't start complaining.
Basic Rules - R.E.S.P.E.C.T Always respect the staff, the administration, and the other members. Everyone should know this rule without me having to tell them. Please be nice to everyone and don't badmouth anyone. There are very dire consquences if you are rude to another member, especially if they are staff. Whatever the staff or administration say, goes. Remember, this is supposed to be a friendly website.
- No personal information. This website isn't a dating service or a website for you to give out personal information. Of course, you may fill out all the profile fields, but do not go around telling people 'other' personal information. Do I need to define 'other?'
- Spam is not allowed, to an extent. Any topic that has more replies than a class in less than an hour or so, will be locked faster than you could say 'Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow..' Going off-topic in an OOC thread, is OKAY, as long as you don't go totally off-topic, so that a thread titled 'Dogs' becomes a thread talking about cars. Savvy?
- Do not flood our PMing system! That means, don't send unecessary PMs. If you have a question, post it in the FAQ. But, feel free to use MSN, AIM, or other IM programs to chat with fellow RPers, if you really feel the need to.
- Religous or political discussions of any kind are not allowed. This creates too much of a conflict.
- Don't ask to become a staff member. If you ask us, that just gives you less of a chance to become a staff member. You will be PICKED by RP Style, if you follow rules or not, and responsibility. Staff include: Leaders and Deputies.
- The rating of this board is PG. Everything within this board MUST remain PG-rated.So, there may be deaths, bloody fights, and mating, but not detailed and excessive. Any deaths, bloody fights, mating, kitting, MUST be approved in the plot board.
Roleplaying Guidelines - Your character always begins as a kit. Then, once you have showed the adminstration what you can do, an admin will advance you to apprentice and when you are ready, you may become a warrior. REGISTER WITH A VALID E-MAIL ADDRESS OR YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO BECOME A WARRIOR!
- Roleplaying can be very difficult for some people. Checking spelling and grammar can become very annoying, I know, but we here at WoV would really appreciate if you always proofread your posts before posting. It's not that difficult. You could try to type up your post on MS Word before posting to check grammar and spelling. Dictionary.com is also very helpful for spelling and even for broadening the vocabularly you use. Wider vocabulary words make reading your post more enjoyable.
- Always remember to stay canon in your posts. A kit doesn't know many hunting tricks/warrior-fighting-tricks-stuff. Its not even rare, it just doesn't happen. The end. Okay, people? You will get warnings if you abuse canoncity. STAY CANON!!
- Do not godmod, AKA control a character other than your own. So, for example, in a post you may not say:
MudPaw pushed BraveHeart aside.
No, that's not acceptable. You could say, however:
MudPaw moved towards BraveHeart, trying to shove her aside.
Or, something of that sort, you know? But, if you get permission from the driver of the character, you may godmod. This also goes for hitting someone, grooming someone, ect.
- You may have only one character. After a month, if you believe you have contributed enough to AP, you may PM an admin and kindly ask to create a second character. You have to be active and always have to follow rules to earn a second character, as well as being a good RPer. So, the max amount of characters you may have is two. Once you have PMed an admin, wait about a week for a reply.
- Never make OOC comments in IC boards unless ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY, but NEVER use smilies.
- All posts should be made in third person and as if you were writing a story, so be very descriptive. Do NOT post one-liners. And, do not use chatspeak. That will not be accepted at all. Your post will immediately be deleted if you use chatspeak in an IC area.
- Your character may not have any special ability, power, or privilege. So, your character cannot be an automatic absolutely wonderful warrior, know advanced healing powers (or something, you know?), know how to hunt well at a young age, know everything about medicince/healing or whatever the heck you can also think up of. No, no, no.
- Advancement to the next warrior level information can be found in the Advancement forum.
- You may only be active in FIVE threads at once, excluding gatherings and things the ClanLeader begins.

Canon: True; Factual; From the books
Chatspeak: Using such phrases and words: u, y, et cetera. You may use 'LOL, LMAO, WTF.' But, ONLY OOC. Type CORRECTLY, so don't do this: h3y sup k h0w r u???? So, that also means don't use multiple !!'s or ??'s. One or two are enough.
Godmod: To take control of a character apart from your own.
IC: In-Character. That's when you are RPing in third person as your character.
OOC: Out of Character. That's YOU talking about normal stuff.
RPG: Role-Playing Game. If you don't know what an RPG is..then.. PM me, though if you are here, you SHOULD know
