Only Winter just opened and needs active members. It is an intermediate site. There are high ranks open and we really need members to get a plot going. Also, we will be looking for staff soon.

Only Winter is a fantasy rpg featuring three species, each with distinct abilities: werewolves, dogs, and angels. Humans have long been extinct, werewolves and dogs battle after a contract between them breaks. They all search for the ancestral lands, which the Angels guard…

Angels… the only ‘humans’ left, are magical winged creatures that guard the location of the ancestral lands, the only place left on earth untouched by man’s destruction. Ordered to keep the peace, now it seems they too have their alliances in this high stakes world where nothing comes easy.

Welcome to Only Winter… a city lays crumbled, overtaken by wolven and dogs. Who will you join? Who will you fight?... come… maybe you’ll be the one to find the ancestral lands… or maybe… you’ll be the one to hide them away.

The Ties That Bind

...In the beginning, there was a being. It had no name, no gender, and no definite form, only a knowledge of other universes and the marvels they contained.

It was lonely.

To keep the loneliness at bay, it created world after world, each world geared towards a different animal. On the deer world, for instance, deers were the foremost species, above all the others, and held a sentience the other species on the deers' planet did not. And so it was on all the other worlds, each for an animal. And for a long time, it was enough to have these worlds, even though the being could not go down and visit them. The animals all worshipped the being and named it the Creator.

It created its servants, a pantheon of Gods and Goddesses, with a male and female for each world. And then it created its final creation: Demetious. Demetious was its joy, for it was the only other being in that universe with powers similar to the Creator's own, and it spent much time in Demetious' company. However, Demetious was jealous of the other Gods. Instead of catering to the Creator, they each had their own planet to rule over! Although being the Creator's right-hand was supposed to be an honor, Demetious twisted it to become a burden, but his own conscience kept him from rising against the Creator, whom he did love.

Eventually, it became too much; he could not stand it anymore. Since he had powers so close to the Creator's own, he went down to the world of rabbits and turned it into a dark, cruel world, turning the animals into blood-thirsty monstrosities. He renamed this world Shahrizai, and presided in it as a king. The Creator, alarmed, sectioned Shahrizai off from all the other worlds, destroying the bridges between them that he'd so lovingly created. Now, only a handful of these bridges still exist.

He put up defensive walls around the world, but could not keep all the evil from leaking out of it. Almost every world was tainted, and the Creator was close to losing hope...

But for one world. Canidon, the world of wolves, was tainted, yes; but still willing to fight. Their God and Goddess, Cavan and Astrid, formulated with the Creator a plan. It was risky, and had a bigger chance at failing than succeeding, but it was worth a shot...

Three packs from Canidon were worthy of the task of fighting Demet. One pack was called Kerra, where the wolves sought to triumph over the evil of Demet. Another pack was Pilouri, an off-shoot of Cavan and Astrid's own pack, who sought to keep the powers in balance. The last pack was Yerenta, a pack to the west that had been exposed to the leaking evil from Shahrizai. They sought to fight Demet so that they may have his power for their own.

Three packs from Central Canidon, all fighting for one cause but for different reasons...

This RP follows the lives of the wolves in the three packs that originally was one united pack. When the packs were one, they were known as the Eurand Pack. The pack went well enough but eventually, time took it's toll on them. Disagreements and feuds amongst the members caused almost a civil war between them. After the fight, alot of wolves lay dead on the ground but the ones that remained split up. Not into just two packs, but three.
Of the twenty wolves left, eight grouped together and made their own pack. They now call themselves 'The Dion Pack'. Several of these eight had been the main few who had started the fight within their original gathering. They were rather thingyy and had high opinions of themselves. They had viewed some of the lower ranking wolves as leseer beings. It was their main enjoyment to pick on and fight them. Thus starting a chain reaction. If anything, you could call them the evil pack. Seven of the remaining Eurand pack members went off, forming in turn, their own pack. They named their pack 'The Aris Pack'. They were some of the wolves who had tried to keep the Eurand together. Their efforts had only prolonged the inevitable. It wasn't their choice that the pack had to end up the way it did, but out of survival instincts, they fought. Mainly setting their sights on the ones who had started it all. These you can call the good pack.
The remaining five wolves grouped together. They never considered themselves a pack exactly until they had setteled in their own land. Only then did they decide to form one. They took neither side in the events that led to the Eurand packs destruction. They were the ones who mainly watched. In the fight, they were reluctant to battle one another and it was only out of instincts that these five survived. They named their pack 'The Kai Pack' You can call them the neutral pack.
