I'm from India, chennai. I have done courses on pranic/energy healing by Master Chok Kok Sui and I'm into IT by profession. I approached 'nick the pilot' to give a me a good start which he did with 'Basics of Theosophy'. As a child I used to pass by the theosopy society at Adayar and when i asked people they just told me the name and nothing more . Now i'm here to find out myself !!!

Are there any Theosophical concepts which do or do not fit into your own personal belief system?

I 'm too young nick just 26 and i don't have a belief system as such.I believe in supreme god - (logos in theosophy) . I beileve in reincarnation and karma( beautifully explained by great people in theosophy)

I came across entities and elementals..For example a smoker has his elementals which urges him to smoke and so on for every negative aspects... It hard to imagine tat every negative thought we produce , are a form of feed of energy to the entities which further becomes elementals and so on ...... NIck can u please help me undertsand the entities, elementals and so on ... As this whole is hard for me accept wholly

Please look at the third slide called The Seven Kingdoms. You will see on the left side of the chart how successive waves of pure spirit are slowly descending in a downward arc in a process that takes many billions of years. These are the elementals that we are talking about.

--> Elementals are looking for violent experiences they can enjoy vicariously. These violent experiences actually help them move faster in a downward direction towards an eventual incarnation as a mineral. They actually benefit when we humans do things like smoke cigarettes, drink alcohol, get angry. The theory is, elementals actually encourage us and give us physical urges to do such things. We humans must fight these urges. It is said that once a person learns to completely ignore such urges, any elemental that is causing such an urge to arise within the person will move on and try to put such urges on a different, more willing human being.
