Hallways...

[A'dan]

"Wouldn't be much point, they aren't there yet anyway," A'dan said, then paused for a moment as he seated himself on Arunath, "You really think she'd be happy to see me?"

[Fowa]

"Why wouldn't she?" Fowa asked, smiling at the unusual note of uncertaintly in A'dan's tone. She turned again, leaning casually against the wall.

[A'dan]

"I... um..." A'dan started, then his ussual joking self kicked in, and a deceptively self-confident smile spread across his face, "You're right, how could anyone not be happy to see me?"

-I think you are the only person to whom it seems not to be apparent that she enjoyed your company.- Arunath commented.

[Fowa]

"Well, I don't know," mused Fowa. "She does have Rienar to keep her company at the moment. You know what they say, A'dan. Three's a crowd."

[A'dan]

"Right..." A'dan said as his near-grin faded into a weak smile.

-Perhaps she is right...- Arunath said ponderously.

[Fowa]

Fowa shook her head, starting to laugh when Rysse bustled up the corridor with a bundle of clothing. She paused at the site of them, and somehow managed to both frown and smile at once. "Look at you pair, lounging around--hadn't you better be off on patrol? A'dan, don't forget your riding jacket..." she added habitually.

"I think he tore it, Rysse," Fowa said mischieviously, grinning at her foster mother.

[A'dan]

"Yes, Rysse, I know..." A'dan said, pulling on his jacket, rolling his eyes.

"Much better," Rysse said, then turned a walked away, adding, "Now get going on that patrol."

[Fowa]

Fowa shook her head fondly, watching the Headwoman bustle off. She wondered vaguely why Rysse was carrying boots toward E'van and Coria's weyr, but decided she actually might not want to know. Once she had disappeared, Fowa winked at A'dan. "Peganth says the Candidates will be on their way to the sands in a moment."

[A'dan]

"Well, if you want to see Relorn THAT much... I suppose we could drop in and say hi before they get there..." A'dan replied, smile returning slightly. Moments later, Arunath's wings unfolded, and he dropped into a glide, taking flight.

[Fowa]

"Oh, sure..." Fowa laughed back as Peganth extended her foreleg and she climbed on to the dragon's neck, following A'dan and Arunath away from the ledge.
