Taking Off and Dropping In

[Mysia]

Mysia let her gaze sweep across the weyr, trying to observe details despite the little time. When A'dan mentioned quarter she tore her eyes away from the sight and back to him. She'd forgotten to get her things... Her oh so precious sketchbook that had taken her almost two turns of scrounging to earn. Not to mention the scores her sister and she had written... and the small, poorly made harp...

She pressed those things to the back of her mind though, she didn't want to trouble anyone over them for now... "Will it be long until the hatching?" She asked with curiosity. Of course she'd heard that there was a clutch on the sands. It was almost impossible NOT to hear things in the harper hall, but she still didn't know exactly what that entailed...

[A'dan]

"Within three weeks, I imagine," A'dan replied, "Hard to say, exactly, of couse..."

He looked around briefly, intending on offering to carry any of their belongings they might want to not be bothered with a the moment, then shook his head slightly, and looked up at Mysia.

"I forgot to say to gather up anything you wanted to bring, didn't I..." he said, "Is there anything you wanted right away?"

[Mysia]

Mysia pondered that for a moment before the question caught her off guard. Of course she wanted her things, but... She didn't want to trouble him to get them. She could survive without them until she either impressed or... went back to the hall she supposed. The thought struck her like a blow that if she didn't impress, and her sister did... "Well... I don't want to trouble anyone." She said quickly, "We never really had much important stuff."

She kept her smile in place, although she couldn't help but regret not being able to sketch him... And the weyr! She corrected herself mentally, trying to keep her mind on track.

[A'dan]

"It wouldn't be a problem, really..." A'dan said with a shrug, "I should have asked if there was anything you wanted to get... And anything of your things that you want is obviously important to you. Its up to you, of course... we can send someone to get it later, too."

[Mysia]

Mysia paused a moment as her two sides seemed to argue. "It can wait." She said without too long of a pause, as she figured compromise was the best answer. Her expression brightened as if to dismiss the matter, and indeed she'd moved onto wondering about the weyr, and in particular the rider standing by her. "You mentioned quarters?"

[A'dan]

"Yes... the candidate dorms..." A'dan said, as he headed inside and started to lead the way to the dorms...

[Cha'aka]

Cassia nodded and followed A'dan.
