Title: Hello

The Southern Acre - March 29, 2008 08:30 PM (GMT)
Hello everyone. This is just a test to see how many people actually check this forum with any regularity. If you see this thread just reply with anything. I am just curious because it seems to me that plenty of people still come on, its just nothing is said.

Teredona - March 29, 2008 10:57 PM (GMT)
I'm around, but usually by accident

deisel 10 - March 30, 2008 02:55 AM (GMT)
I'm sort of around, I check every few days to see if anyone's posted, usually they haven't...

utract - March 30, 2008 02:25 PM (GMT)
I check daily because I'm sad. And even if something intresting did happen, I wouldn't have any useful contribution.

The Southern Acre - April 4, 2008 08:54 PM (GMT)
Yeah I was just wondering because it seems like there are enough people that would actually come on its just that we don't actually do anything. On second thought though, it seems that there are only four of us.

utract - April 5, 2008 02:20 PM (GMT)
Four fairly regular is enough to rebuild... Just none of us can be arsed.

The Southern Acre - April 5, 2008 02:53 PM (GMT)
I would actually do it if the other three said they would. I don't really have anything going on now so I sort of need a project.

Carcino Rebels - April 5, 2008 04:16 PM (GMT)
sup guys, I lost my old pair of nations and can't really be bothered to bring them back, but I made a new one which just switched to RSN. Anyway, ill be on on a regular basis hopefully

utract - April 5, 2008 04:55 PM (GMT)
I cba. I'll post, but I don't have time, and can't aford the distraction, of actually doing anything.

Delta Golf Sierra - April 5, 2008 07:08 PM (GMT)
I check in here occasionally. I'd like to talk baseball, if anyone's interested.

utract - April 5, 2008 11:23 PM (GMT)
cba

The Southern Acre - April 7, 2008 12:46 AM (GMT)
 Urine you seem to be here a lot though. If we attempted a restart would you participate?

utract - April 7, 2008 10:44 AM (GMT)
i'd talk, but do nothing productive

The Southern Acre - April 7, 2008 09:49 PM (GMT)
Ok fair enough. I want to see how many more people respond with interest before I consider anything.

deisel 10 - April 8, 2008 03:26 PM (GMT)
I'm happy to be around and help out where I can, but I don't know how much I'll be able to contribute. The next few weeks, at least, are going to be insane for me...

Teredona - April 9, 2008 11:45 AM (GMT)
I'd be happy to help. IDK how much time I can lend, but if it needs to be done it'll get done.

The Southern Acre - April 10, 2008 02:30 AM (GMT)
Well four people is plenty to rebuild. I think that if we are going to seriously do something though we first need to do two things.

1) All of us need an actual NS nation. I think everyone still has one except Urine. In order to build a region, everyone will actually have to be in the region.
2) I think we need to make a new region. Sure we technically have a start already in RSN with 20+ nations, but in truth, none of those members are active so there is no reason we shouldn't take the initiative and start a new region. The four of us and anyone else who wants to join could move there and we could have a totally fresh start. Remaining in RSN and on this forum would prevent us from starting again, something I think is required if we actually expect any growth.

Tell me what you think.

utract - April 10, 2008 03:22 PM (GMT)
You may have a point. Region building is certainly a good way to get new people involved, rather than have them try and compeate with us lot and our ideas here.

But you'll have to do a shitload of recruiting - have fun!

Carcino Rebels - April 11, 2008 01:54 AM (GMT)
sounds good to me, although I probably wont be on enough to really contribute all that much, due to track and school.

Thats not exactly what I was going for there. I was thinking that those of us interested in rebuilding would all go and make our own region, not just me. I think it would be easier if we got a fresh start with as many active memebers as we could muster, which seems to be four, and start from scratch. Plus that way the recruiting needs would be cut in quarters.

utract - April 11, 2008 04:20 AM (GMT)
I got you first time, thats what I meant. You take people, but everyoe starts on fresh terms.

The Southern Acre - April 11, 2008 04:23 AM (GMT)
Oh sorry. I thought you had taken it to mean just me leaving. Would you do it if I set up the region/forum? I won't bother if I don't have at least you three.

utract - April 11, 2008 04:27 AM (GMT)
Probs come over, stay chatting as long as its active. But I'll stay here too. Cba with any recruiting or actual work though. I'll just laze around with assorted comments/criticisms.

The Southern Acre - April 11, 2008 04:29 AM (GMT)
Fair enough that will be fine. You will make a nation and move it there though right?

utract - April 11, 2008 04:30 AM (GMT)
No, I can't be arsed with nations. I'll make one and stick it in your region if you like, but I probably won't maintain it...

The Southern Acre - April 11, 2008 11:44 AM (GMT)
Yeah thats what I was thinking, just so you are actually a citizen. Just put it on vacation mode, that way you only have to log in once every 60 days before it is deleted.

utract - April 12, 2008 08:54 AM (GMT)
cba

deisel 10 - April 13, 2008 08:55 PM (GMT)
I'd be willing to help rebuild in a new place. Like I said, though, I don't know how much I'll be around to help, at least over the next few weeks.

The Southern Acre - April 13, 2008 11:49 PM (GMT)
Ok, if I can get Tere on board than I will make a new region. What should it be called?

Delta Golf Sierra - April 14, 2008 02:54 AM (GMT)
Have you considered merging with a region that is already well-established and has an active forum?

utract - April 14, 2008 08:01 AM (GMT)
Not that again...

*bangs head against wall in exasperation*

though we have an emoticon for that...

:ffs:

The Southern Acre - April 15, 2008 03:55 AM (GMT)
Yeah we have and it diden't work out. Plus, we onlt have four total members now, so I think it woulden't be a merger, more like us just moving to a new region.

Delta Golf Sierra - April 15, 2008 03:24 PM (GMT)
So why not move to a new region instead of going through the trouble of starting a new one?

utract - April 15, 2008 07:59 PM (GMT)
Because every other region is shit.

Teredona - April 15, 2008 08:49 PM (GMT)
We've been highly independent since the first day...

deisel 10 - April 15, 2008 09:51 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I think our core group is much too opinionated and independent to be able to join a new region and not try to immediately have a leadership position. We've been surprisingly harmonious as a group (not that we don't have our moments...), but we're all leaders, and it just wouldn't work for us to join somewhere that's already established with it's own leaders and laws and such. So, yeah, no way am I joining an already established region.

utract - April 16, 2008 02:48 PM (GMT)
When I tried to join other regions, I usually upset people...

Anyway, I would like to now declare my divinity. I am indeed a god. Bow down and worship me before I smite you with hot steaming flows of urine.

The Southern Acre - April 17, 2008 02:11 AM (GMT)
I already knew that. What, Oh Great LORD, should we name our new region?

utract - April 17, 2008 02:39 AM (GMT)
It shall be named: WHS 4" Solid Forged Archaeologist Trowel (Charlotte); Spear & Jackson, Sheffield, England.

deisel 10 - April 17, 2008 01:44 PM (GMT)
How about not? It should be something reminiscent of RSN, but not lame like RSN 2 or anything...
