I'm sure that this topic has been brought up many times but does anyone think we should bring back having elections and having the Regional council. I don't know about how anyone else feels but I can honestly say that it was always fun around election time what with the nominations, debates, elections, and (of course) all of the non-official election talk. Obviously I'm guessing a concern with the elections was getting enough people involved was 1) having enough candidates and 2) having a decent amount of voters to vote. My suggestion is perhaps lengthening the terms to three or four months because I think that the elections were so bunched together that by the time people got into office and began their programs, it was almost time to hold another election. Another suggestion of mine was to e-mail all of the members whenever election time was approaching. Just as with Founder's Day, we could get a lot of people to return for the election process. These are simply my suggestions. I think it would be kind of cool to return to the good old days. I highly appreciated any comments, concerns, rebuttals, questions, your mom jokes, etc. Thanks!

It would be nice... but it is never going to happen. Perhaps this summer I might do a little recruiting, but NS as a whole has slumped so the odds are low of getting many new members, even if everyone did work.

Yeah, the reason we got rid of the RC in the first place was a numbers problem, and it's gotten worse since then. It's actually amazing that there are even five people left to talk about it in this thread...

Because we sole clares flat, then I broke it to her by making a joke of it, which upset her, and the way I broke it made her realise that everyone else had lied to er about it... So she hates me for being a dick, and the rest for me dobbing them in it - though they hate me less... And continue to talk to me, and drink with me, which is important... But our group has now lost its only girl thaks to me, and all her frends hate us too... bitches.

Once she realizes that you feel bad about it she'll probably forgive you. Unless, of course, she's the type to hold a grudge. Because then it'll take awhile...
