Welcome Back to The Lost Glade!

Well the new year has started and with it a rejuvenation of the kindred cup. All kindreds have been reset so if your not in one tell an admin what you want. The competitions will be happening each month starting with the Vaul's Anvil Challenge which will continue all year in order to motivate players to paint their miniatures so be sure to pop on into Vauls anvil for that!

A few other changes will be made very soon so if anybody is having any problems with anything tell an admin and we will get it sorted.

And lastly, don't forget to click the Warvault affiliate banner to the right over there! Vote for us and make us the #1 Wood Elf forum.

Here is the pumpkin I carved this year, I'm pretty proud of it.

user posted image

The picture is from some artwork I did in photoshop a few years back, I just turned up the contrast until it was all black and white, then I printed it out, taped it to the pumpkin and poked around the white areas with a tack. Then I took off the paper and shaved the outer skin off the pumpkin where the white areas were. The deeper you cut the lighter it will be. I saw pumpkins carved like this a few years ago and thought it would be cool to try. It turns out it is really easy! This is only my second attempt at carving a pumpkin using this method!

Very cool pumpkin Hillbilly Carl.
I always though Holloween was one of those very American things, but supposedly it originated in Ireland and exists in almost every place where British colonies were founded. It's pretty unpopular in Australia though.

I just like the excuse to eat candy! We took our daughter trick or treating for the first time this year. She is too young for candy so I guess I'll have to eat it all!
