GM pots:

Silly:
The man, who looked a tad more shocked then he already where, cleared his throat. “Our offer is simple. This is your first payment,” he said and slammed a large paunch on to the table. It seemed reassuringly heavy. “What we want you to do? Many things. But first of all we will ask you to steal or rather get an item of a certain value for us. Have you heard of the Dawn Spear? It’s the governor’s barge of office. Sadly it disappeared after he was killed on his foolish tour here in the underhive. But our spies have managed to track it down; it’s in the mutant ghetto somewhere, presumably taken care of by the Arabites stationed there. We want you to get us that spear, it is…. What should I say? Essential to us. When does not really matter but I suspect others might be after it too. Do we have a deal then?”

Elberneth:
As the room was emptied the man put is heels in the ground and managed to halt the guards for a second. “Here is the first thing we want from you!” he shouted and threw a small data-crystal over to Ika. “And I will personally see to it that you get your document!” Then he was blindfolded again and led out from the lair of the Guild.
Ika placed the data-crystal into the data-slate on his desk and read through the message that appeared.

House Carrindor, upper Motian spires. M41

I hope you where not to rude to my dear cousin and representative. He is a fool. Anyhow here is what we want you to do. When our ohh so foolish ex-governor died, he also lost the Dawn Spear at the same time. Our and probably your spies have tracked the spear to the mutant Ghetto where it is held in the Arabites stronghold. They obviously want to keep it until a new election can be held. Sadly this is not after our liking and we want the spear back. It would be of great help if you could get us that spear. Whatever payment you want will of course be given to you.

Yours sincerely Lady Anne Carridor

From the shadow of his hood Luthien eyed up the sack of coins as if weighing them with his mind. For several minutes he let silence play with the man's mind and fears. He pulled himself up from the chair and walked over to Krösus, from undr his cloak he rasied a steady hand that was tinged blue had a weird swirly pattern that looked like it went straight up the arm. He held it out as if going to shake the man's hand,
"Consider it done. But in the mutant lair? if anyone of my men fall to disease or killed in a gunfight YOU will be held up for....how shall i say? compensation"
With an invisible grin he shook the man's nervous hand.

Next moment the double doors leading into the main garage burst open with Luthien standing in their wake,
"People! We have a contract!"

Then all the engineers stopped their work and craned their necks to look at Luthien as he started to explain the new deal they had for the dawn spear. Only Fuse wasn't listening as he picked up a hammer and well...er...threatened a wall with it.

As the door burst open and Luthien strolled in most of the engineers jumped, soon fixing their attention on him. Pointer, sitting out of the way in a corner momentarily stopped the latest 'adjustments' to his laspistol and looked sideways at the commotion. Curiosity soon drew him out though, as Luthien began explaining the plan. This 'Dawn Spear' sounds interesting...

Manny couldn't care less about this Dawn Spear. The way he saw it, somebody wanted something, and he was getting payed for it. He didn't see the need to complicate it further than that. He was a tad curious about it, sure, but fundamentaly, it was just a paycheque.

Ika's robes swirled about him as he walked into the main practice area of the dojo. A fountain trickled somewhere to the right as various members of the Guild fought on the mats lining the room.
As Ika entered everybody stopped in their actions. A few people entered from the side room opposite Ika's study, each person carrying various guns, tools and grenades in mid-assembly.
"My friends," Ika began, just as Helena entered from the main hallway beyond, a look of interest flashing across her face as she saw Ika address the rest of them.
"We have been given a new mission, one that comes from the fools in the upper-spires." A few members cast glances at each other; missions from above usually paid far better, but where usually far more dangerous. A few of them had actually begun to holster weapons, while most were gazing intently at Ika.
"They wish for us to bestow upon them a pretty little thing called the "Dawn Spear", which is to be found deep within the Mutant Ghetto. The reason is unimportant, but the reward is. It will help us greatly in discovering who it was that betrayed us so long ago; in fact, it may prove the missing piece in the puzzle we have been trying to piece together. So come, let us retrieve this "Dawn Spear" before more of the rabble around us are alerted to it and its rewards. No doubt many "Houses" from above have enlisted people to retrieve it."
There was a mad explosion of movement as people ran around in all directions, collecting weapons, putting on dark clothing and gathering supplies.
Ika nodded solemnly at Helena, before returning to his chambers.

As Ika left his quarters Lynx looked up. She and Sahori followed Ika into the Dojo. They moved up to one side and sat down on one of the mats. Lynx wondered what this stranger had brought Ika. It had to be something of importance she decided as Ika seemed very impatient.
Lynx had just decided that she needed to find out what was going on when Ika told them all.

Lynx nodded to herself, she had been right. As Ika finished talking Lynx rose quickly and together she and Sahori went to find there equipment.
As the girls entered their room Lynx suddenly realised how untidy it actually was. But this was not the time for cleaning a room. She fastened her belt and found her Sais under the bed. She swiftly rebuilt the Long Las from the parts she had spread all over her desk. She found the autopistol and grenades in a drawer under some underwear and in another drawer she discovered about 5 power cells for the Long Las. Then she put on her Jika-Tabis. For a second she considered the grey coat but decided against. They where going into the Ghettos after all, it was not likely she would draw attention.

To her surprise Lynx found that she had been one of the first back to the Dojo. Almost a little pulsed by the fact she walked over to Ika’s door and knocked. From inside she heard a low sound and opened the door.
Ika was all dressed and ready; he sat and read on the data-slate, to Lynx surprise he looked like in deep thoughts, hell almost worried. Lynx remained in the doorway and looked at him, her tail swung slowly behind her and she waited for him to talk. But he didn’t so Lynx started instead, she talked low and sweet like only she could, “You seem worried. Is there anything wrong with this mission? Almost everyone is assembled to by the way,” she said and waited patiently for an answer, like he had trained her to do.

White calmly shouldered his rocket launcher, and tugged his tight dark green tunic over his muscly abdomen. "Another job, hey?" he muttered to nobody in particular. Strolling easily to his personal apartment, he collected all the things he would be needing: demolition charges, grenades and the like. As a dirty fighter, and one of the taller and bulkier of ones, he was probably the most isolated of all the members. Few people talked to him as he made his way back.

After a longish talk about the dawnspear and its reward Luthien waited as people stared at him waiting for more. "well get to it people! We have a job to do!" He chuckled to himself as he shook his head in annoyance of the 'statues of people'.

Then like someone had left out a scene in the pirate copy of your latest film, the garage was busy with people making to ready their bikes. Jeff made some final adjustments to Luthien's and saluted as he left to find his own bike.

Luthien took the handles of his bike and sat in its seat. An invisible smile from under the cloak acknowledged that he liked the new springs in his seat 'much more comfortable' he thought happily. Then from the other side of the garage came a sound of metal striking metal and curses spat out randomly like 'your mother was a dolls house!' Luthien craned his neck to look at what was Fuse hitting the wall with a hammer and shouting at it. He held back a laugh as Salena tried to calm him down (really the only one who could as he never hit girls).

A clearing of a throat came from other his shoulder quickly after. It was Guy.
"what is it?"
"Luthien about this new deal. How many are you taking to the mutant ghetto?"
"what does it matter?"
"we still have territory to protect, or have you forgotten?"
"i have not forgotten. 15 bikers will travel. You, Salena and Jeff will come with"
"what about Fuse? you can't take Salena and not him!"
"16 then"
"also theirs the new recruits sir"
"what recruits?"
"2 of them been with us for no longer than 4 weeks, seen little action in their short time with us. But are very good still"
"18 then shall come with me"
"your going?" A look of general surprise from Guy's face. Luthien didn't ride with the bikers much.
"you would rather me not? oh wait of course you would! traitor" Luthien said with a friendly chuckle. Guy only responded with a stern look and brisk walk in the opposite direction.

Inspecting his bike more Luthien picked up one of Jeff's smokes still lit. "health and safety eh?" he said to no one in particular with a short smile as he flicked into a nearby bin, but missing by clear feet.

"We ride in 2 hours be ready! Formation D!" Luthien shouted to all above the ruckess of equipment checks and bike checks. "you two other here" he pointed at the new recruits and made a gesture with his head (like a sort of backwards nod) to come to him. Still he sat in his bike or a beast of a bike anyways.

OOC: just to let you know the recruits are you two, geep and spoony. He doesn't know your names yet. Sorry if you wanted to be an already existing members but at least this way we get to interact more and such.

OOC: Don't worry, it's better this way.

Noticing Luthien beckoning in his general direction, Manny figured he'd best make his way over. Slowly getting up, he made his way towards the strange man. He made sure to keep some distance between them, then waited to be addressed.

The apparently brash nature of this gang leader got on Pointer's nerves a bit, but it was clear Luthien was not new to his position. Somewhat reluctantly Pointer approached to hear the instructions.

"well now you two" Luthien started, "whats your names?" Luthien leaned on his bike handles staring at the two recruits from the shadow of his hood. His eyes darted from one to the other but finally laid to rest on Pointer. Investigating his every move and accessing its danger. Luthien sensed something he didn't like inside this one.

He waited for their reply.

"Manuel, Sir." He foud a little bit of courtesy went a long way for the pocket. "but I do prefer Manny. Here's to a successful job." Manny hadn't yet broken eye contact, if it were the man's eyes he was looking at; he couldn't much tell through his hood.

After a brief pause a second reply came. "Pointer... sir". The sir was clearly drawn out and over emphasised. As he said this he raised his right hand, making the missing finger clearly visible.
Pointer tried to match Luthien's gaze, but found something disturbing in his eyes and had to look away.
"If we are going to 'ride', can I assume one of these bikes is... mine?"

Luthien turned hios face and hood away from the two men at looked over the workshop. he scanned the place for a brief time before returning to look at the men.
"theres some spare out the back. Pick what one you want, just not the dark pink one its Salena's." Luthien noticed Pointer's missing finger and added "ah i can see why they call you Pointer than and you..." he turned to Manny "i shall call you Manny then".

They waited awhile before beginning to make their way to the back garages. A sharp whistle came from behind and they turned back to Luthien,
"Where are my own manners! I am Luthien Calaeden and some may find me...er...disturbing. Why? Look"

He raised his hands to his hood and removed it. From below the hood revealed a blue tinged face with patterns that swirled around the eyes and everywhere else. His eyes were pure white with no pupils and his blackened hair layed untidily other his forehead. He was also quite thin.

"just wanted to let you see who you work for" he spoke as he replaced his hood and returned to his bike. "oh!" he remembered something "Guy will point you in the right direction if you need help finding them".

A brief greedy smile spread across Pointer's face at the mention of gaining a bike. Maybe this 'gang' deal had its advantages...

A sharp whistle suddenly brought his attention back to Luthien, who lowered his hood. Pointer could tell Luthien was speaking, but the words seemed meaningless- he could only stare at the almost deathly apparition in front of him.

"...who you work for...". The words edged their way inside Pointers mind as he finally snapped his eyes away. He was now controlled by this... person. "Now I remember why I never like gangs..." he whispered.
