Skaw must be equipped as below and may not take any additional equipment or spites. Skaw takes up a Lords slot choice.
You do not need to ask your opponent's permission to use Skaw in a Wood Elf force, but if you wish to use him in another army, he is a Dog of War who takes up a Lord and Rare slot, and you will require your opponent's permission. He can only join: Bretonians, Dogs of War, Empire, High Elves, Kislev and Lizardmen.

Special Rules: Independent, Rivalries
Independent - Skaw is a lone, solitary figure, who has lived in the woods around the Bridge of Birds as well as many other areas of the world. He always travels alone though. As such can never join another unit, nor can he become the army's general.
Rivalries - Skaw's Falcons share a hatred for Shrikes, which tend not to live around where Skaw does. Skaw himself looks down on Helms of the Hunt and Bows of Loren, both of which he considers to be weak ripoffs of his own equipment. As such, an army containing Skaw the Falconer cannot have a Helm of the Hunt, Bow of Loren or Pageant of Shrikes.
Leopard Armour - Skaw's armour is made from the skins of leopards he hunted in his travels around the globe. It imbues him with supernatural speed, as well as a violent disposition. Skaw has a 5+ armour save in combat, as well as +1 WS and +2 Attacks on the charge. For the rest of combat, he has +1 A. It also imbues him with the ability to run like a leopard and strike just as fast, giving him 9 movement and 9 initiative.
Falcons - Skaw's Falcons are his closest friends and tools, each being half-bird and half-spite. Each turn, he may direct his Falcons to attack a different target than he is aiming at. Five falcons fly out from him, each hitting according to his BS and any modifiers. If they hit, they cause a S3 hit. Skaw's Falcons also occasionally save him from incoming missiles, giving him a 4+ save against shooting attacks.
Bow of Willows - The Bow of Willows was given to Skaw as a gift from the mythical Lost Kindred. It has a range of 18", S4 and always hits on a 3+, no matter what the situation. It also can hit anything within range as long as Skaw can see them, including singling characters out of units.
