The Baby Kitten
A few years back my friend persued a baby kitten, who stole his lunch or somthing so he chased it to the steps of our local church. Where the kitten atempted to get into the church while my other friend was coming out. But my friend chaseing the kitten had previously picked up a large brick which he threw at the kitten splattering it's brains across the steps...

My Friends And There Sick Humour
My friends have sick humour which is the birth of my dislike of it. Before the brick hit the kitten my friend exiting the church cried STOP! But it was to late the brick had killed the poor kitten, a few grams of ham hanging from it's dislocated jaw. (there were 7 of us there, includeing my self I will go into names now).
CV-TheMessenger: Hma.. hma... ha ha, whahaha laugh.gif nice throw Mithras.
CV-ArchAngelArnold: Yes indeed, just a pity you crushed the head. I could have riped it of and mounted the Skull on my wall. Still at least I wont have to buy blood red paint for a while, blood for the blood god and all that.
CV-Mithras: yes it was wasnt it, that will teach it not to Steal.
*CV-Archdeacon wraped a tissue around his hand and nelt beside the the kitten lifting what was left of the head*
CV-Archdeacon: SEE THERE THE INNOCENT BLOOD YOU HAVE SPILT ON THE STEPS OF ALSVREE (name of our church).
*CV-Mithras catchies on*
CV-Mithras: I am guiltless--she*no sooner had he said she than CV-Lord_Vincent pounched him to the ground. He lingered for a second before turning to TM and AAA giving them heartless scowls as he brushed past them, then me and continued into town*
*CV-Mithras slightly winded stood up and said*
CV-Mithras: she ran, I pursued.
CV-Archdeacon:

I'm going to take a small break from this the now but I will finish it. The point of it is a few morals and if anyone else had likewise experiances. So if you want to post replies (note that I say very little in storie as I was in shock, well I was mortifed at what I saw.

Well, I'll be honest. I hate cats in general.

But even with that, I couldn't do the first job I ever had, which was at a farm. They had far too many cats, so I had to kill kittens. When I asked "how?" the boss told me "Break their knecks." After three kittens, I told him I couldn't do it.

I guess what I'm saying here is, no matter how intense my hatred for cats went, I still couldn't bring myself to do it for long. I felt so terrible that day. My boss asked me to do a few more the next day, feeling a bit better with myself at the time, and I did (which I shouldn't have, but I still found a way that was easier for me. Gunny sack and a few bricks and a pond. Still, I would never do it again.

B-rad you have got to be joking! Right? I mean what was the farm doing?! If you have too much kittens then they just had to put them up for adoption or give them to any animal protection place like the RSPCA.

I mean thats sick!!!!! I'm not crazy about cats myself but i don't hate them either.

If Terry Pratchett has taught us anything it's to love kittens, for death loves them too, and he's someone you don't want to piss off

I have nothing againt kitties! I even had a cat once.. and it loved me!
When I came home from school the cat stood and waited for me. I took my arm down and the cat climbed up my arm and stood at my shoulder like a parrot. It was awesome!

I like cats, but B-Rad's story is no surprise. It's quite a common thing on farms- the cats are basically wild, often there to catch rats. When there are too many, you kill them. There's a fairly famous poem about it somewhere.

Adrian: Is your story actually true? It's nasty for so many reasons... did you do anything to the brick throwing person? and are they still a 'friend'?

Well done! Knock on his door and give him another swift kick for me.

Farms are one thing (where all animals are seen as temporary resources and food- not that i like this view) but Adrian's and Darkblade's stories are completely different... especially when you have brought the kittens like Darkblade's story.

Well i don't think i'll ever work on a far then! Disgusting! Cry.png

I feel sorry for B-rad for having to do that. Must've been hard to do. I mean i know what i would've done,

"here are some kittens i need you to break their necks as they are too many"
"No way i'm not doing that!"
"Well you'll loss your job then"
"i don't care i wont do it you b*****d!"
"Ok then you can leave then, i'll get someone else to do it"
"no you wont i'm gonna take them home with me, find them a family to be with"

Then i would probably hit the man as hard as i can. I just would not be able to do it, i mean look into their cute little eyes and hear them do their little meow! I couldn't.

I look at it this way, we are way too over populated but you don't see people breaking each others necks to control us. I mean way should we be able to do it to other animals, if we are not prepared to do it with ourselfs first!

I know how you feel here SDETT, but it's not really practical- i've worked in a vets where 20 or so animals (most fairly healthy) are brought in to be put down. The vet surgery does all it can (even keeping quite a few as work pets), but with that happening every week it's just impossible to be able to find them all homes.
No, it's not something you enjoy, but what else can you do?

Sorry this is off topic, but

This made me laugh (yes i'm sick)- we have war, disease, neutering (can be forced in some places)- we're slowly being more proactive about over population.

yeah, its a true story about the kittens

Seriously though, there were hundreds of cats, it seemed.

There were some of them that they wouldnt get rid of cause they were sociable and the familly loved them.

Besides, the farm was about 2 hours away from the nearest animal shelter (country boy right here!)

Aww the cat in that link was well cute wub.gif

i know some pets have to be killed, even if healthy but at least getting them put down by a vet is a better and less sick thing to do.

Actually i couldn't even put an animal down, which is why i decided not to even try and become a vet.

I love cats too, I have 4 atm and during my life 3 of my beloved feline friends have died, not very nice, but then again, I dont like dogs, I nearly shot the policemans dog because it was in my garden barking at my rabbit, so I got my compound bow at full draw, took aim and then my mum yelled at me that it was the cop from down the roads dog, so I hit it with a tree branch instead. Thats a lucky dog. I'm 15 and 5' 4" lol.
