Here is some information on a big charity painting contest going on at WAMP (Wargames and Miniature Paradise). It is for a charity that is really close to my heart and I'll be participating for sure:

Some big prizes up for grabs and if nothing else there looks to be some really good-quality painted minis from big names coming up for auction in the next few months. I'll post more info as it comes up.

Spear of Orion Group: Ancient Posts: 994 Member No.: 32 Joined: 28-December 05	Definitely! I haven't started yet but I am planning on painting up some Avatars of War figures. I'm ordering the Dwarf Thunderlord, Beastman Hero, and Marauder Champion. The dwarf and beastman are going to be in a diorama while the Marauder is going to be on his own. I'm also planning on painting up some GW figures: an Orc of some type and a large monster - either a high elf dragon or a carnosaur. Any suggestions on what Orc figure I should paint? It has to be able to get a good price on e-bay. It is a lot of painting between now and February but it is a cause that really means a lot to me. My wife and I lost our baby this past June and if my contributions help prevent that from happening to someone else then it is worth it.
