[Silly Dragon Elf the Third]

Hello Lost Glade i have some news for you all. Silly died about 2 months ago. He had been feeling very down and decided to end it all. I know he used to frequent here alot and talked about the people and community here and how he felt liked here unlike anywhere else so i came to tell you that he is gone...










...About two months ago Silly Dragon Elf the Third went to a local tattoo shop. When he left he had started down a path to a better life! You see he had gotten a Phoenix Tattoo on his right shoulder (fairly big too, with colour. Looks great). This was to symbolise a start of a new person as the Phoenix rises from the ashes being reborn anew.

Since then i have been alot more positive and even happy! My job has gotten better with more hours (full-time now instead of part-time) and being promoted to supervisor with a little pay rise too! I no longer feel like an outsider and have recently got into contact with old friends thanks to a chance meeting in a train station!

So The old me is dead and buried and now i am new with a better outlook on life and better hope for the future! My Phoenix watches over my shoulder as my old self still casts some shadow over my life but as long as it is there thats all it will be, a shadow ie. behind me (unless you have a light source from there but anyways that sounded cool).

I am blowing the dust off of my warhammer models and grimacing at the grey and silver look of them. I guess my old self was a lazy git eh? So i'm gonna start painting them (i promise!) and already got some ideas.

I thank you all for your kind words and friendly comments. Also for support you gave me in both life and warhammer.

So i guess all thats left to say is "Honey i'm home!"

PS: The washing machines nearly got me but i escaped them! (i guess old habits die hard...)

My heart sank when I read the first paragraph... I'm so glad that the rest of the message was there! Its good to hear you are doing better, congrats on the raise and the tattoo, you'll have to post pics of the tat!

Sorry couldn't help myself!

And yes you will see alot more of me and i will get pictures up of my tattoo. Just it isn't finished yet (been 2 sittings of 3-4 hours and another 1-2 more to go and spent £360 on it so far! But a small price to pay for something that changed me for the better and will have for life!). My next sitting is 3rd september so shortly after say 5-6th i will post some pics. My only regret about it is that i didn't do a step by step picture gallery of its progress but hey if you live life in a whorld of what ifs and maybes than your living in the past. Look to the fufture and say what if...then your better off.

I have even more energy now so be ready for my return! Only thing is now with full time and a little social life i wont have much time to come here but when i can i will i promise and the new me means it when i make a promise and keeps it!

A laugh a day keeps the bad thoughts away. Same as an apple keeps those pesky doctors away. Those pesky doctors with there diagnosis and examinations I'm sure i only see them when i'm sick! Coincidence? i think not!

It's great that things are looking up for you, don't get scared if life gives you a few bumps every now and then. It's all part of being human.
Hope we will be seeing some of those painted models you've been talking about in a while. Keep up the good work!
