Title: Campaign List

Hey folks I'm taking part in a map based campaign, the list starts at 2 kitted out heroes (who still have to follow the normal restrictions for points) and a 1,500 point list.

I was thinking:

Arundrel Shadowleaf
Noble, spear of twilight, helm of the hunt, light armour, shield

Nae'dral
Branchwraith, cluster of radients,

20 Glade Guard, Musician, Standard, Aech (283)

Nae'dral's handmaidens
10 Dryads, Branchnymph (132)

6 Glade Riders, musician (126)

10 Wild Riders, Musician, Standard, Razor banner (323)

Winter Hawk's troupe
10 wardancers, Blade singer (194)

Ambar-metta
Treeman (285)

Great Eagle (50)

Still got 89 points left so open to suggestion bearing in mind that any points for the characters wouldn't affect cost

With a tiny bit of shuffling you could fit in a unit of 8 dryads which would boost your close combat a bit.

Also is the noble on a horse? I'd make him a wild rider kindred and put him on a horse with your wild rider unit. It would really boost the killing power of the unit and make him that much more survivable (5+ ward save). He'd have to lose the shield but that wouldn't be too big a deal since he'd gain +1 for being mounted anyway. Either that or you could put him in with the glade riders to make that unit a legitimate threat in close combat, he wouldn't be able to be a wild rider kindred if you did that though.

I really like the razor banner on the wild riders too, it makes them very killy against armour.

I'd also give your glade guard the flaming attacks banner to help you deal with things like hydras, trolls and other flammable/regenerating things.

Ok i've made some changes to the list to make it a bit more combatty (is that a real word?) and survivable

Arundrel Shadowleaf
Noble, spear of twilight, helm of the hunt, Wild Rider, Stag

Nae'dral
Spellsinger, level 2, Hail of doom arrow

19 Glade Guard, Standard, Flaming standard (250)

Ambar's handmaidens
9 Dryads(108)

5 Glade Riders (120)
I'm considering dropping these guys

9 Wild Riders, Musician, Standard, Razor banner (297)

6 Treekin (390)

Ambar-metta
Treeman (285)

Great Eagle (50)
Might drop the eagle too, he just gets shot up but is handy for taking on war machines for a turn

Played a tester game Vs Lizardmen on thursday (bottleneck scenario) and managed to take out his entire list due to luck on my part (my wild riders wiping out his saurus cavalry after a failed combi charge from the dryads and the treekin ¬.¬) but struggle to deal with hordes atm. But apart from lots of drayds i fail to see how WE are meant to cope with them tbh

Treekin in the front, wild riders in the side and dryads to back them up should eat up a horde in no time. I like the list, if you want to gain a few points you could always drop 1 wild rider since the stag is on a monster base you'd still have 2 ranks. That's your choice though, the extra rider is nice since you'll probably take some casualties on your way into combat so with him you'd possibly still have a rank bonus when you do charge.

Looks good. I like the look of the list.
