Here is my black templar list. I am going to use it soon and would like to know what people think.

Marshal with master crafted power weapon, bolt pistol, artificer armour, terminator honour, frag granade, iron halo and holy orb of antioch 167pt

5 man Command squad with Apothecary with power weapon, company standard bearer, company champion, sergeant with power first , a plasma gun, furius charge,crusader seals, frag granades. Everyone have terminator honours. 260pt
Transported in a Rhino with pintled mounted storm bolter and exstra armour 65pt

Emperor's Champion with the vow "Abhor the witch, destroy the Witch" 110pt

8 initates (Normal Marine) with chainsword and bolt pistols, melta gun, power weapon, frag granandes and Crusader zeals 172pt

5 initates with bolters, plasma gun, missile luncher and frag granades 101pt

Land Rider Crusader with pintle mounted storm bolter 275pt

1150pt in total

My strategy is: Charge!!!! :lol: With the 5 man squad supporting and taking out tanks etc. The comander squad is a dammed many eggs in a AV 14 basket but if the hit the enemy they can singlehandly take out an army. The emperors champion will join the 8 man squad and get into combat with them. they gives me some number and can beat a greater demon in combat. This is also everything I have got at the moment.

Any coments or idea for new units etc?

Anyway...I play Templars. Here are my thoughts.

Your Marshal has far too much stuff. Drop master-crafting, artificier armor, and the holy orb to start. In 1150 points, you need troops más, and if your character is hoping to go up against other tricked up characters, he'll fail. Daemon Princes are just better.

The command squad is too small. Drop terminator honors and add marines. I know your command squad is out-of-the-box, but the Apothecary does not need a power weapon, and you do not need a standard bearer.

That Rhino will pop first turn and take several expensive Marines with it. Take at least three tanks, in even 1000 points, or don't take anything at all.

If you are going to use a Crusader in small points, your army must be built around it. Take at least a 10 man squad to be your hammer.

Crusader seals are worthless in the squads you gave them to. The Marshal and the Emperor's Champion bestow the effects of the seals on the squads they join.

Frag grenades are wasteful in 1150 points. I consider them wasteful in general. They are pointless on your support squad- it shouldn't be doing any charging. They are also worthless on your other Marine squad. Land Raider Crusaders have Frag Assault Lauchers and any unit charging out of one counts as having frags anyway.
