Title: Suggestions for a Spring Skin

What do YOU want to see? What's your favorite part of this skin? What would you hate to lose? What do you want gone?

What do YOU want to see?

A continuation of this skin in some form or other with a spring-ish touch. For example, this might be implementing the leaves in the background to show more of a spring-ish look instead of making a new background entirely.

Alternatively, you could revamp the entire skin to represent renewal and regeneration.

The use of light in the banner; the background; use of shades.

What would you hate to lose?

The layout/theme.

What do you want gone?

Background colours that make text harder to read; the scrolling affiliate links.

i think the hardest part is going to make the spring different from the summer,
so spring should probably have brighter and more flowery type colors (as girly as that sounds)

so there is no winter skin?

I think that there's only going to be an Autumn skin and a Spring skin.

Highborn Sycath said the original will be summer, and eventually they'll have all four I presume. However, as autumn came so late, I think they're going straight to spring this year.

Spring does need to be kept different from summer. Bright, light colours are in order, though they must not be allowed to become too garish. I think choosing the colours will be the biggest thing; I really like the whole forum layout and don't think it needs changing really.

Will the banner be changed in anyway? Its an awesome banner do not get me wrong just currently it has the autumn brown look or is it olden parchment? Just maybe if it had more life into it it would look more spring like.

I agree, the forum layout is fine and all that needs to be changed to the skin is colour - ideally bright colours as mentioned. Summer would be more dark greens in my opinion. As for the autumn leaves, they need to be changed to something more different - blossoms come to mind, but that might look weird... (lol)

The banner will either be changed, or just the color of it changed. If the whole baner is changed, it will use the same layout- Center figure, 1-2 units from army on each side, lost glade in big writing across, and then the links in the bottom right.

Just a suggestion, is it possible to make it look as if vines are curling around the border edges and flowers sprouting out of them? That'll prolly represent Spring very nicely. Arn't the Forest Spirits strongest in Spring? Put more Forest Spirits on the banner in spring then and when the winter skin comes out, put more elven on the banner. Just 2 suggestions. I'm alright with everything else.

I like the vines suggestion. Im sure foxtale could do something with that!

I'd like to 2nd (or is it 3rd) the vines idea, something like the Biel Tien craftworld's pattern with fresh budding leaves rather than thorns.

Bluebells could be nice or some other spring flowers, if winter gets done next year you could have snow drops coming up.
