Rules of The Shrine (Updated at 12/23/2007)

Board Rules

1. No spamming.

2. No adult content.

3. No double posting.

4. NEVER disrespect the administrators, moderators, and members.

5. NEVER share your account's password.

6. No abusive content.

7. Don't use foul language. Crap, damn and hell are ok, but using other profanity and/or overusing the suggested languages (except for crap) would be given a verbal warning.

8. No FLAMING others (even shippers). If you do, there will be a flame war.

9. NEVER threaten/abuse other races. (This is really important so if you do so, then you will automatically be BANNED.)

10. Don't pick on others who aren't from North America, this is called "racism", it is way too threatening and can cause major abuse. If you do so then, bye bye, you'll never join this shrine again.

11. NEVER make more than one account. If I see that happen, I will automatically delete it! We have a name change thread, it's hard to miss.

12. Don't just post one word or a smiley, or else nothing, if you start a new topic with a word, one smiley, or else NOTHING, we will call the topic pointless, and that, we will close it.

13. No Internet speak. If this happens, Me or the Mods & Admins shall warn you. We mods and admins have the ability to warn people. You can use "lol" for a reason. Usually, "lol", is mostly common on "internet speak", on "forums", and, "writing a letter, an E-Mail, or PM". So, I will allow using, "lol".

14. No Heavy Advertising. If you want to advertise your website or forum, you can do so in the Advertise forum. You are also allowed to put a link or a button to your site in your signature. Advertising your site anywhere else is not allowed. Also, do not join the board simply to advertise your own site or forum. TJS is not a fly-by bulletin board.

15. NEVER advertise that isn't a forum, or an internet site that's cool for us to check it out. If you do this, you will get warned 2 times.

16. Ok, if you want your name changed, FINE, but you gotta ask one of the admins to do it. You can change your name of up to 4 times. Over the limited use shall the member be given slight restrictions.

17. Signature Size- The signature size is strongly recomended for its maximum size to 487 x 443 pixels. Here is an example of 487 x 443 pixels:



If you get warned for the first time, you'll be restricted from posting for two days.
If you get warned for the second time, you'll be restricted from posting for four days.
If you get warned for the third time, you'll be restricted from posting for six days.
If you get warned for the fourth time, you'll be restricted from posting for one through two weeks.

And (Read below fourth warning)

If you break all of these rules, you will be warned, and if you get warned five times, you will be BANNED.

Remember that the forum rules can change so, you may want to make sure it's there.

--~|RULES FOR AT LEAST ALL THE FORUMS|~--

Alrighty, now, lemme get this straight. Forums, not the damn forum itself, the forums that hold, what? Topics. Here are some rules that can be edited.

1. Don't spam like this: "OMGDZ, LIEK, LOLOLOLOLZZZ". Or: "iodjQWOIUDJHrfhIORYH398R34HR89H8934H5R89345RH8349H!#@$#$^%^%!!!!!11!". It is a total nuisance, you're ok at the Spam Forum, spam for all I care. BUT, if you spam on ANY other topics that doesn't say "spam" on it, you will be warned, but may not increase your warning level.

Spam may be used in other things, like, putting things down that accurately have no point to it, whatsoever.

2. Overusing smileys. Doing this can make 100% nooby results. PLEASE, use at LEAST one or two smileys. Here's an example for using it properly:

"Oh great! This is ridiculous! I am having a hard time of my life!!! Oh, man, I feel so sad now. "

The IMPROPER way of doing so, would be this:

"DAMNIT!!! I'M SO PISSED, THIS IS FRIKIN' STUPID!!! IT SUCKS!!!1111111 "

Damn, I swear, that is nooby.


3. Abusing capitalization. I suggest that doing this would raise your warning once, like: "OH, WOW, YOU LOOK LIKE A DIMWITTED HAG!!!11" or, "WHO THE HELL WOULD DO THAT KIND OF SHIT?!!?!?!?". Those examples were clear enough to recognize for now.

To the admins and moderators.

All staff, make sure you read and abide by these rules, AND the Forum Rules.

Rule #01 - Close a topic if it's necessary, don't close a topic without reason, therefore shall be given a verbal warning. If it happens again, you'll get your warning raised by "1".

Rule #02 - Punish the member for a reason. Punishing him/her for no apparent reason is nonsense, and yelling is immature. If the member yells and screams and persists, contact me as soon as possible and I'll do the rest.

If you punish the member without any reason, the Administrator/Moderator shall be given an immediate warning. [color=red]NO verbal warnings.

Rule #03 - Be reasonable. Don't get away by lying, tell the truth, lies are stupid and immature.

Rule #04 - If you are asked by a member for their name to be changed, please make sure to be accurate about the newly requested name. And make sure on how many times their name has been changed. Don't let them get away by overusing the "Name Change" rule.

Rule #05 - Aside from the punishments, DON'T WARN THEM FOR NO APPARENT REASON. It angers the member, and therefore, shall NOT happen.


Rule #06 - DON'T EVER CHANGE THE FORUM WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.

Rule #07 - [New Rule!] Do not reply in this topic whatsoever, unless if you have any suggestions and ideas. Anything other than that, is a violation to the Board Rules.
