Hi!
I've been trying for a long time to place the glowing egg in Dreamfall: The Longest Journey: The Winter (Chapter 2), but when I choose the egg in the inventory, the inventory just dances over the screen.
I don't know what the problem is, or how to solve it.
Please help me!

Tried loading an older saved game, or starting a new one? All your drivers up to date? Anyone remember exactly how this puzzle worked?

If she's by the waterwheel, then you only need to make sure the top of the ... thing you're supposed to place it in is marked (you know, the square thing should be on the top, so that when you click it Zoë comments on it). Then it should work to just use the item.

Yes, she's by the waterwheel, and I got the "thing" marked. But I can't select the egg in the inventory without it dancing over the screen -.-''

What about the things suggested above? Does this dancing happen with the other inventory items, or just the egg?

Yes, I've tried them, but it hasn't worked. The dancing happens with all the items.

What are your hardware specs? Are you using Vista, XP or 7?

What about your hardware, do you have any idea what that would be? Do you have access to a different computer to play on? Sounds like a very unusual problem, I'm not sure where to start looking to help you without actually seeing the problem and computer setup.
