Five ladies from our running class ran the final Wirral Seaside Race of this years series starting from Leasowe Lightouse.
Gale force winds were blowing the sands onto the promenade throughout the race but these same high winds ensured PB's all round as our ladies were swept along.
Before the start the ladies posed with former Commonwealth and European Marathon Champion Dr Ron Hill MBE now well into his 45th year streak of running.
Ron has run every single day without a miss since December 1964.
Well done ladies, a terrific days racing with a true running legend.
