I Turned...

[Coteps]

Coteps was walking through Eudomina, with his "puppy" Cerberus. He got many nasty stares from the elves around, but he was just here for a simple assassination. He was to kill a favored tavern group of elves who had been spying on the dark for quite a while. He came to a stand and asked the elf their, "Where would I find the Rotyu Tavern?"

The elf sneered when Coteps came near him, and spitted on his dog. The dog and Coteps were both well trained with the persuasion act. The dog wimpered, and Coteps wiped the spit off. The elf said, "We dont serve your kind here! Now move!"

Coteps said, making everything up as he went along, "Oh, you think I'm with the darks? No, no. I used to be until I met a high and mighty High elf. I turned, and so did my dog, but we both remained in this form."

The elf was more stupid than he lead on. He said, "Oh, well than I'm sorry. Its a good thing you turned, the dark ones will never win! Its over there, just two cross sections over."

Coteps smiled and Cerberus licked the elf, which would cause him to get a severe rash tonight all over his body. Coteps waved and went on his way to to the tavern.

[Coteps]

As he left the stand, he started to notice a bunch of elves following him and his dog, so he sat on a bench for a while just sitting nothing else. Then they started coming in closer on Coteps, when he gently took out his violin. All the elves then drew their swords in an instant, for they did not know what he was pulling out. He put down the violin on his lap, raised his hand and said, "Is there a problem, fellow elves of Eudomina?"

One of the elves from the crowd said, "Well...we thought you were dark...and..."
He was cut off when another one spoke up, "He is a dark elf! Don't listen to anything he says!"

Coteps then just picked up his violin and started playing it, with it singing;

Well, I come from a land that was light, as light as can be!
Everyone jolly, everyone happy
Then I met the man who started my turning
An old corrupted high elf, with great power
Taking in my interest for that power
Stronger and...

;he stopped everyone around him was asleep. At that he commanded Cerberus to spit acidic poison onto the bodies and they dissolved into nothing but dust, which blended in with the ground. He looked at Cerberus and kind of smiled at the dog, "Time for the real business."

[Zavoc]

Zavoc hated elves. He hated them more than any other race of this world. He loathed them so much, that it was nearly indescribable. But why did the Dark One hate them? For starters, just how much the elves thought of themselves as high and mighty made his decaying skin crawl.

So why was he here?

Being a new recruit(I'm not sure if he is or not, but its just a guess), Coteps would need someone else in the shadows to observe his progress and intervene if things got ugly. Even with his ferocious 'puppy' Coteps could require assistance. Elves were tougher then they looked, and theres no other Dark One that knew that better than Zavoc.

Practically undetectable, even with the elves' superior senses, the hooded wraith stood unmoving in a shadowy corner of the city, his wyvern mount floating high above the clouds and acting as his 'eye in the sky'.

[Coteps]

Coteps kept walking towards the in and used his tattered robe to cover his face that way no more problems would occur. He heard several comments about a usually busy place that turned quiet, as if it were deserted, but he paid no mind to it. He came to the Rotyu Inn, the original reason why he was here, and went in. He immediately saw his target, and walked over to him, giving Cerberus a mind command to look innocent.

He started talking, his hood still covering his face, "Please sir, I have severe burns across my face, and now, no one accepts me as a violinist. If you would let me soothe you with a tune, wherever you please, an just let me here your opinion."

Cerberus wined a little, staring at the food over by the elf, and the good elf stood and said, "You're just in luck. I've been looking forward for a good melody. You know any happy tunes?"

Coteps nodded, and the elf said, "Excellent! Now, let's go into my room, and I will right down anything I do not like."

Coteps nodded again and said, "Oh! Thank you my gracious friend!"

The elf forcefully grabbed Coteps' hand, giving him a handshake, and said, "My name's Slemi Lop! Server of the Good. I always let out a helping hand."

Coteps took his hand away, expressing weakness to further disguise himself, and they went up to Slemi's room. Slemi sat down on a bed nearby him and then waved his hand for Coteps to begin. He started playing a merry tune and sang:

There once was a land,
A land without disturbance,
No Evil or Good, just Neutral,
Everything was peaceful-

He was cut off when Slemi yanked a nearby chair and whipped it at Coteps. He said, "Nice hand you got there, nice red color, doesn't look too burnt to me!" Slemi got out a sword and started swinging visciously.

Coteps screamed, "Cerberus! Stay! This is my fight!"

He quickly strapped his violin back onto his back, and took out his twin short swords. He used his right sword to parry Slemi's attacks, and used his left to attack. They were exchanging cuts back and forth, until Coteps saw an opening. Behind Slemi was a window, and he left himself open. Coteps lunged at himand launched both him and Slemi out the window. Cerberus followed, watched Coteps drive both his swords into Slemi's body seven times, and then Cerberus picked up Coteps with his teeth, put him on his back, and sprinted for an exit.
