Returning at Last

[Mai the Dark Lord]

Mai had landed Siirya outside the city and sent her dragon away. Then, she walked into the city. People in black robes or chain armor that was black or purple or red bowed and curtsied to her, as she was the leader of them all. She just let slow hisses out, feeling her half-arm. She made her way toward the main square of the city and look a seat at the edge of a blood fountain, taking a drink from it. She spat it back out.

"This blood is old- too old." She complained. "I'll have to get that fixed." She sat there and closed her veiled eyes. "Damn you, Kadaj... again I lose to you... yet, as always, you let me live." She heard footsteps approaching her, and raised her left arm, extending her claw-like fingers. "Stop there and identify yourself."

[Dulcina the Withered]

Dulcina hopped off Darak's back, walking into New Dogarith, and seeing those who bowed or curtsied. "Now, now, common folk! I am not so grand that you mu--", she began, before the visage of Mai caught her eye.

Oh....

Dulcina smiled fakely at the people to the left and right of her, proceeding to the fountain. Falling to the ground, she stated, "It is I, Dulcina. Our loss pains me, Dark Lor--Mai!" Noticing Mai's half arm, the dancer looked up at her leader with concern, deciding not to risk an 'Are you ok?'. It would only be met with sarcasm.

[Darak The Shadowed One]

Darak folded his wings, and walked past the citizens a few paces behind Dulcina. He basicly ignored the people as they ignored him. He followed Dulcina until She stopped in front of Mai, who spun around instantly.

He said nothing as he saw her wound, he just stood their motionless. He almost rolled his eyes after hearing Dulcina speak to her like some rotten servent, but he resisted.

[Eros]

A bright light enveloped the area and then a glowing woman appeared in a tornado of roses. She spoke not a word, but flicked her wrist, and the blood-sucking demons disappeared with her.

[Kadaj the Knight Lord]

Mai dropped like a rock from the sky after a flash of light left Mai, Darak, Dulcina, and Arion there. The group landed, of course Darak landing on his feet due to wings, and Mai cleaned herself off. She looked around at the group. "Arion, Darak, Dulcina," she said, "I am calling a meeting of the Dark Ones tonight. Darak, get the message around the our bases on Tresed and Elesthier." She looked at Dulcina. "You, accompany Arion to his quarters."

With that, Mai turned and walked straight for the castle. Tonight... was going to be the end of her evil reign... her evil life.

((Okay still continuing in the world relies on Jacob coming back, but until then Mai will be inactive, we can find ways to have Darak interacting at each of the bases of the Dark Ones, and have other things happen with the good guys.))

[Darak The Shadowed One]

Darak landed and folded his wings. He was glad to be back, in this dreadful place. And when he heard what Mai has ordered him to do he was delighted. He had always wanted to explore, but he had never got the chance to...

He nodded and said,"of course!" He opened his wings, careful not to accidently wack Duclina(of course he wouldn't mind 'accidently' doing that at times). He took off instantly, flying toward the closest base.

[Leithas the Demented]

Leithas rode into the city, not really knowing what to look for. He was about to visit the cattle when he noticed a very familiar face sitting in the middle of a crowd of people. "...lord..." he rode quickly and soon was near Arion, who seemed content.

Leithas dismounted and bowed to his lord. "Welcome back, sir," he said. He looked around and soon someone told him about the meeting. "...right... I guess I'll wait around in the city for a while." He sat down at the edge of the blood fountain, but dared not remove his helmet in the middle of this crowd.


After a while, Leithas suddenly felt a very... powerful... presence arriving. "I'd better not let battle occur within the walls of the city..." He quickly mounted his steed and was off. He quickly raced to the docks on the mainland and headed to Tresed.
