As you've already seen, I'm working on a fairly big update. Well, I finally figured out all the formulas and whatnot I needed to figure out for balancing the game last night. So, this update will now balance everything out, and by that I mean:
-Classes will be more balanced than before. Level bonuses will max out at +3 points, but not all classes are able to get +3 points in certain stats -Monsters will be weakened/strengthened based on what level you should be around to be killing them. -As you progress in levels, EXP you gain from weaker monsters will decrease until its 0. -Equipment bonuses will be much more noticeable and useful than before. -Items will drop more/less frequently, depending on what it is and how many of that monsters there are, and how quickly it respawns. -Equipment will now require certain levels or greater to equip, making the weaker equipment no one uses have more purpose. -Equipment bonuses will be heightened/lessened, depending on the required level designated.
New stuff in this update will include:
-Introduction of Tier 1 Rare equipment. -New HUDs -New equipment in general. -New area within Blizarria -Blizarrian shops open -New quests for Blizarria. -I figured out what I need to do for the Spell HUD, so that will be added as well.
There will be a pwipe with this update, due to the changes in vital systems of the game.
This update will be complete within a few days, I suspect.

This update will take a little longer than expected to due how much time it will take to balance monster stats and EXP. Equipment stats and values will all be based off of the monsters so this must be done first and will take the longest. The remainder is fairly quick and easy.
I actually underestimated how long it takes to balance an RPG. I just spent the past hour (Its Wednesday night, I don't have anything better to do weekday nights) getting the EXP needed for every single level, all the way up to 300. I wrote out each level until level 115, which is about where the EXP required hits 50,000 and the EXP system changes. From there I just did every 5 levels.
Come level 300, you will need just over 600,000 EXP to level up. In the current game, and for awhile, the max level will be 210 from normal monsters. If you want to spend the time killing the dragons to level past that, have fun.
So, based on the info I've gathered, I should be able to balance out how much EXP each monster gives, what the max level you can get from each monster is, and based on that balance how strong the monster should be. IE you can't handle a level 20 monster at level 10, but you might be able to at level 15 with equipment that is your level.
All of these balances will still seem unbalanced due to the conspicuous absence of armor type equips, which is another reason this update will be delayed.
Anyway, I should have the monsters balanced out tonight, and at the very least be able to start balancing what little equipment we have so far.

Well, i guess i was going to quit anyway. But seriously, Equipment with required levels? Even toontown is going to be better then this after the update
