I'm sorry...this story is set before the Pilot eppie. So you won't see Sam(maybe a cameo tel appearence,lol). I just wanted to try something dif. But he will be in my next one if I eventually finish this one that would lead to the PILOT.

Sorry for the confusion. I went back to the beginning and added the year, like 2004 or something. That's enough time.

ACT FOUR

FADE IN:

EXT. FLOREWOOD STATE PARK- 2AM

The police squad rambles through the bushes and tress with difficulty rummaging around for the vehicle that was reported stolen prior. A policeman with a bushy mustache gazes up in the air at the blazing fire gradually blasting out of the roof of the cabin.

POLICEMAN:
(Flings his cigarette butt)
C’mon, people. Let’s check that out!

He marches through the widely open front door and hand motions the rest of the squad to monitor the house.

POLICEMAN:
(Strident voice)
This is the police! Is anybody trapped upstairs? (Come across a flight of stairs)

POLICEMAN 2:
(Taking a white towel from the kitchen sink and swabs the last wet drop of blood from the floor)
(Walking over to Policeman 1)
Look what I found. You think he might have did this? What a sick bastard!(Disturbed)

POLICEMAN:
(Takes out a Ziploc bag and tosses the towel in)
Let’s try upstairs.

The policemen walk off to the kitchen and grabs two medium sized towels and soaks them up. He tosses one of them to the other policeman. They cover their noses with the damp towel and head up the creaky old stairs with their gun in one hand and a foot after another. They walk down the hallway which is clouded with smoke.

POLICEMAN:
(Bring to a standstill and glimpse down at the floor)
There’s more here…(Indicating blood stains)

POLICEMAN 2:
(Has wet towel over his nose)
Ready? (Restrains gun)

POLICEMAN:
(Nods and monitors from behind)

They have the sense of hearing a thunderous bang from below of the ground and they walk every corner trying to find the thud. The banging is getting noticeable when the policeman steps on something bumpy.

POLICEMAN:
(Stares down at the ground and notices a handle)
I think something or someone is down there. Let’s open it up.

POLICEMAN 2:
(Attempting to pull up the door)
It’s like it’s locked from the inside. I can’t get it open!

POLICEMAN:
(Aims at the handle and prepares to shoot at it)
If anyone is down there. Stand back! I am going to shoot the lock open!
(Fires the gun and the handle break off)

CASSIE:
(She looks extremely beaten up. Her eyes are swollen from a few blows, arms are leaking with fresh blood, strands of her hair has been lost, and one of her legs appears to be broken.)
(Shed tears)
Oh my god! I thought I was going to die down there!!! Thank god!

POLICEMAN:
(Politely)
Who did this to you, honey? Was it a scruffy man with a mustache who forced you here?( Cassie looks at a sketch photo of John)

CASSIE:
(Perplexed)
Wh-at? No! I was here with my boyfriend; Dean. And we were celebrating our six-month anniversary. Everything was going fine until I came up here to change and I felt light headed and I passed out. The next thing I know…I woke up in here with little oxygen. I panicked, screamed, tried to kick open the lock but nothing worked. I was about to give up…(Pauses) Where’s Dean? Is he okay, what happened to him?

POLICEMAN:
We didn’t see anybody in here when we got here. Listen…we need to get you out of here before the whole cabin burst up in flames.

CASSIE:
(Limps)
I can’t walk…my leg is broken and I’m really dizzy.

POLICEMAN 2:
(Moves over to Cassie and helps her up. She picks up Cassie and they run out of the room)
(They run down the stairs and rush through the door. The cabin burns up in flames just after they made it.)

EXT.VACATION CABIN

CASSIE:
(Picks Dean jacket from the ground)
This is his! (Trembling)

POLICEMAN:
What is honey?

CASSIE:
(Shows the policeman the jacket)
This belonged to my boyfriend! We have to go back in there. He might be trapped somewhere trying to save me!

POLICEMAN 2:
This must be hard sweetheart. But he’s probably gone by now. There will be nothing left when the smoke clears. Sorry for your loss!

CASSIE:
(Breaks down in tears)
Dean… (Sobs)

POLICEMAN:
Come on…we will need to get you to the hospital. We also need to ask you some more questions about what happened.

CASSIE:
(Wipes her tears on her sleeve)
(Bothered)
I already told you what I remembered, there’s nothing left to tell!

POLICEMAN 2:
Give her some time. She’s gone through enough.

Policeman2 assists Cassie up from the ground and guiding her into the ambulance.

INT. AMBULANCE

CASSIE:
(Flashback voices)
“Come on…we have to leave now. The police will be here anytime soon!”
“Let’s get him back to your crappy motel first!”(Recognizes John’s voice in the background of the conversation)

POLICEMAN 2:
You okay, honey?

CASSIE:
(Turns around and punches the police officer. The officer loses consciousness.)

PARAMEDIC:
(Stares in the back)
What are you doing woman? Are you crazy?

CASSIE:
(Aims the gun at the paramedic’s face)
Take me straight to the Comfort Inn Greenwood and step on it!

PARAMEDIC:
(Opposes)
Do you realize what you are doing? You are going to get into huge trouble for this!

CASSIE:
I don’t care! Just freaking drive me there or I will blow your brains out! Got it??

PARAMEDIC:
(Petrified)
Okay…whatever you say! Just calm down. (Focuses on the road)

CASSIE:
(To herself)
Dean, I hope I’m not wrong about this.

EXT. GREENWOOD INN MOTEL

Cassie steadily gets out of the ambulance and resumes to aim the gun at the paramedic until he drives away.

CASSIE:
(Recalling a conversation with Dean)
Cassie: So where are your father and you staying at this time?
Dean: (Smiles) You caught me, huh?
Cassie: Stop fooling around and tell me!
Dean: We’re staying at the Greenwood Inn, Room 201.

CASSIE:
(Dashes)
Room 201…(Out of breathe)

She is standing in front of the door and she slowly turns the doorknob. The door opens and she aims the gun straight ahead.

CASSIE:
(Shocked)
It wasn’t a dream…

OMGOSH so good!! write more!!!! and i am a bit confused.. what happened to cassie after she stabbed the knife into dean's stomach?.. ..

Its great keep it up I love it!!!! Poor Cassie she got the crap beat out of her. and poor Dean I hope he is ok!

I know...I was on a sugar high when I wrote it and I'm not a Cassie fan. Should I change that part?

Thats a good idea. and I don;t hate her but she seems like a bitch how could she break up with someone like Dean.if she loved him she should have understood right?
