In the Genes, Dark Angel/Supernatural crossover

OK!!!!!!!!! I've been promissing this for a while and I'm back from my holiday now so I guess I better post it before I get linched!!! (It's here sis's!!!)

Chapter 1

“Dean, I’m goanna get in the car. Don’t be too long.” Sam shouted as he walked out the gas station. What he didn’t notice was Dean sitting in the front seat of the Impala, trying to hotwire it.

Alec was running through the woods, White and his men hot on his heels. He was cold, tired and injured. He had been running for 3 days now and he needed to find somewhere to hide. Transgenic abilities or not, he was feeling the effect of blood-loss and exhaustion, but his pursuers wouldn’t give him a break!

And then the road was suddenly in front of him. He was out of cover and his time was up. But there, just up the road was a gas station, maybe his only hope. He had no alternative and he started running down the shallow incline and towards the first car. It was a black classic 1967 Chevy. All he had to do was hotwire it and drive off.

As he was trying to turn the engine over he was startled to see a young man get in the passenger seat next to him. “Hey, I thought you were in the bathroom? What are you doing, I’ve got the keys, remember?” The man was in his early to mid 20’s, tall, athletic with brown shaggy hair.

Alec just stared for a second before realising that the young man was holding the keys out for him. Never one to look a gift horse in the mouth he took them and quickly started the car up, driving away just as he heard his pursuers coming to the road.

Dean walked out of the restroom just in time to see his precious Impala take off down the highway at a reckless speed, even for him. He ran into the middle of the road (there was no other traffic around for miles) and called to his brother. “SAM! GET BACK HERE WITH MY CAR!!!!”

Just then, a heavily armed man tackled him from the side and as he kicked him off, another soldier struck him with an electric prod. He then felt the butt of the gun come crashing down on the back of his head and he fell to the floor.

The last thing he heard before falling into unconsciousness was a cruel, cold voice utter, “At last”.

Sam heard his brother call but it sounded as if her were behind him. He was shouting about his car so Sam looked out the rear window to see Dean being tackled by soldiers. If that is Dean then who?… Sam turned to the driver, who was watching him with a dangerous glint in his eyes. Alec grabbed Sam’s head and slammed it down on the dashboard, knocking him out.

“Boy did this get outta hand.” Alec muttered to himself, just one of the many understatements he was going to have.

Just a taster to get you all interested for the next part. If you thought it started with a bang…you ain’t seen nothin’ yet!

I just wanted to say (not trying to annoy any of the other writers) that I WILL finish this crossover (I have to...the sequal is driving me crazy!). So many of the crossovers I read get started but never finished. That said, they can often be picked up months later and finished then. I have this almost completed in Word so you know it is coming!

Chapter 2

Dean was blindfolded, handcuffed and his side hurt from the electric rod. He had no perception of where he was, but he knew Sam wasn’t with him. Who was it that had been in his precious car? Sam was in danger and he knew he had to escape and find him, after all, the last time Sam was left with someone who looked like but wasn’t Dean, he was nearly killed!

It felt like the vehicle had been going for hours. Where was he being taken?

He had woken after he didn’t know how long and he wished he were asleep for the rest of the uncomfortable journey.

Finally, the van came to a stop. He was pushed out the back and roughly handled through and out of the sunlight, the world going even darker than it already was.

“Who are you? What do you want?!” Dean could hear doors being opened and closed and keys unlocking and re-locking gates. Wherever he was, these people didn’t want him getting out.

He was muscled down what he thought was a corridor, as he could hear the sound of the footsteps echoed on the walls. No one said anything as he was put in a room and the blindfold removed. The room was bare, with a single chain hanging near the centre. There was a block and tackle hook on the end of it and Dean was held next to it, as his wrists were un-cuffed. He stood still, waiting for the right moment. When it came, however, he found that his guards were also prepared for it.

As he tired to run passed them, they held him firm, zapping him with the electric prod once again. As he tried to pull away, one of the men forced his wrist into the hook and locked the latch over it.

Dean tugged slightly at his wrist, trying to re-position it in the tight hook, as it was very uncomfortable. He looked at the soldiers with a puzzled look on his face but they simply walked out, leaving him on his own. He couldn’t sit on the floor as he could barely rotate his arm in his new restraint and it held his arm in a horizontal position.

A man in a suit entered and circled Dean. He watched as far round as he could and when the man approached he backed off as far as he was allowed.

“Hello 494, you led us on quite a hunt. But I knew I would catch you eventually. Now…where is Max?”

Hey there lil sister. Guess what? I am here! I love it so far. You are right. I have become a Dark Angel fan and I love the way this has started. I love the fact that they think Dean is Alec and Alec is Dean.
