What songs remind you of the show? Yeah I know the show is constantly on your mind but go with me huh? Paul Gross - Ride Forever I was born north of Great Slave, 1898 And I rode near all my life on a ranch near Devil's Gate And I've seen this world about me bend and flip and change Hey, it feels like rain -- that's a thunder cloud We'll, I've been called a coward, but I've seen two World Wars And I lost my son, Virgil, my Korean reward And my Lucy died last summer -- you ask me if I cried? Hell, I'll show you tears, they're all over this ground They're falling from these blue Alberta skies But I'm going to ride forever You can't keep horsemen in a cage Should the angels call, well it's only then I might pull in the reins They tell me I'm an old man, they tell me I am blind They took my driver's license, this house ain't far behind I say jump back all you big suits 'cause you've got something wrong I ain't gone, no, I ain't gone I am still breathing and I still have my pride And I have my memories, your life, it never dies Like the wind that blows in thunder Or the stallion on the fly, I got it all And I'm standing tall underneath these blue Alberta skies And I'm going to ride forever You can't keep horsemen in a cage Should the angels call, well it's only then I might pull in the reins So I say to all you old men, don't let yourself get broke If you think the world's gone crazy And it's scratching at your throat It's time to dust off that old saddle, get it on a horse Kick up your spurs, we're gonna run like stink We're gonna tear across these blue Alberta skies We're gonna ride forever You can't keep horsemen in a cage Should the angels call it's only then I might pull in the reins.

Numb by Linkin Park
I'm tired of being what you want me to be Feeling so faithless, lost under the surface Don't know what you're expecting of me Put under the pressure of walking in your shoes (Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow) Every step that I take is another mistake to you (Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow)
I've become so numb, I can't feel you there Become so tired, so much more aware I'm becoming this, all I want to do Is be more like me and be less like you
Can't you see that you're smothering me, Holding too tightly, afraid to lose control? 'Cause everything that you thought I would be Has fallen apart right in front of you. (Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow) Every step that I take is another mistake to you. (Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow) And every second I waste is more than I can take.
I've become so numb, I can't feel you there, Become so tired, so much more aware I'm becoming this, all I want to do Is be more like me and be less like you.
And I know I may end up failing too. But I know You were just like me with someone disappointed in you.
I've become so numb, I can't feel you there, Become so tired, so much more aware. I'm becoming this, all I want to do Is be more like me and be less like you.
I've become so numb, I can't feel you there. (I'm tired of being what you want me to be) I've become so numb, I can't feel you there. (I'm tired of being what you want me to be)
When I first heard this I thought of Dean and John's relationship, I guess it could have been good for Sam and John's as well. Now, I guess, it could have been for either of them and their relationship with each other, which I hope is on the mend.

I have a Supernatural play list on my iPod (doesn't every fan?). It's comprised of songs that have been on the show, wish were on the show & make me think of the show. By the way, aislinn, "Numb" is on my SPN playlist! A Place Called Home by Kim RicheyWell, it's not hard to see Anyone who looks at me Knows I am just a rolling stone Never landing anyplace to call my own To call my own Well, it seems like so long ago But it really ain't you know I started out a crazy kid Miracle I made it through the things I did The things I did Someday I'll go where there ain't no rain or snow ‘Til then, I travel alone And I make my bed with the stars above my head And dream of a place called home I had a chance to settle down Get a job and live in town Work in some old factory I never liked the foreman standing over me Over me Oh I’d rather walk a winding road Rather know the things I know See the world with my own eyes No regrets, no looking back, no goodbyes No goodbyes Someday I'll go where there ain't no rain or snow ‘Til then, I travel alone And I make my bed with the stars above my head And I dream of a place called home

Keith Urban "Song For Dad"
Lately I've been noticing I say the same things he used to say And I even find myself acting the very same way I tap my fingers on the table To the rhythm in my soul And I jingle the car keys When I'm ready to go When I look in the mirror He's right there in my eyes Starin' back at me and I realize The older I get The more I can see How much he loved my mother and my brother and me And he did the best that he could And I only hope when I have my own family That everyday I see A little more of my father in me There were times I thought he was bein' Just a little bit hard on me But now I understand he was makin' me Become the man he knew that I could be In everything he ever did He always did with love And I'm proud today to say I'm his son When somebody says I hope I get to meet your dad I just smile and say you already have The older I get The more I can see How much he loved my mother and my brother and me And he did the best that he could And I only hope when I have my own family That everyday I see A little more of my father in me He's in my eyes My heart, my soul My hands, my pride And when I feel alone And I think I can't go on I hear him sayin' "Son you'll be alright" Everything's gonna be alright" Yes it is The older I get The more I can see That he loved my mother and my brother and me And he did the best that he could And I only hope when I have my own family That everyday I see Oh I hope I see I hope everyday I see A little more of my father in me A little more of my father in me I hope everyday I see in me In me In me I hope everyday I see A little more of my father in me

Bonnie Tyler Holding Out For A Hero
Where have all the good men gone And where are all the gods? Where's the street-wise Hercules To fight the rising odds? Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed? Late at night I toss and turn and dream of what I need [Chorus] I need a hero I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night He's gotta be strong And he's gotta be fast And he's gotta be fresh from the fight I need a hero I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light He's gotta be sure And it's gotta be soon And he's gotta be larger than life Somewhere after midnight In my wildest fantasy Somewhere just beyond my reach There's someone reaching back for me Racing on the thunder and rising with the heat It's gonna take a superman to sweep me off my feet [Chorus] Up where the mountains meet the heavens above Out where the lightning splits the sea I could swear that there's someone somewhere Watching me Through the wind and the chill and the rain And the storm and the flood I can feel his approach Like the fire in my blood

Joe Nichols The Impossible
My dad chased monsters from the dark He checked underneath my bed He could lift me with one arm Way up over top his head He could loosen rusty bolts With a quick turn of his wrench He pulled splinters from his hand Never even flinched In thirteen years I'd never seen him cry But the day that grandpa died,I realized
Unsinkable ships, sink Unbreakable walls, break Sometimes the things you think would never happen Happen just like that Unbendable steel, bends If the fury of the wind is unstoppable I've learned to never underestimate The impossible
And then there was my junior year Billy had a brand new car It was late, the road was wet I guess the curve was just too sharp I walked away without a scratch They brought the helicopter in And Billy couldn't feel his legs Said he'd never walk again But Billy said he would and his mom and daddy prayed And the day we graduated,he stood up to say:
Unsinkable ships, sink Unbreakable walls, break Sometimes the things you think would never happen Happen just like that Unbendable steel, bends If the fury of the wind is unstoppable I've learned to never underestimate The impossible
So don't tell me that it's over Don't give up on you and me 'Cause there's no such thing as hopeless If you believe:
Unsinkable ships, sink Unbreakable walls, break Sometimes the things you think would never happen Happen just like that Unbendable steel, bends If the fury of the wind is unstoppable I've learned to never underestimate The impossible

Reba McEntire Greatest Man The greatest man I never knew Lived just down the hall And everyday we said hello But never touched at all He was in his paper I was in my room How was I to know he thought I hung the moon
The greatest man I never knew Came home late every night He never had too much to say Too much was on his mind I never really knew him And now it seems so sad Everything he gave to us took all he had
Then the days turned into years And the memories to black and white He grew cold like an old winter wind Blowing across my life
The greatest words I never heard I guess I'll never hear The man I thought could never die S'been dead almost a year He was good at business But there was business left to do He never said he loved me Guess he thought I knew

Jim Byrnes 12 Questions
Where do I go now? Who will I meet? (?How can I set it free?) Where do I find the words? What do you mean to me? Just what is it I want? Oh lord what can I do? (?What the hell can I do?) Why did I lie to myself? How do I get back to you? Who was it put up this wall? Why can't we tear it down? How can I make it better? Why in this lonely old town
Instrumental

Evanescence: Save me from the dark
Such a good Sammy song for season 6... well a Sammy song in general
How can you see into my eyes like open doors? Leading you down into my core, Where I've become so numb
Without a soul... My spirit's sleeping somewhere cold Until you find it there and lead it back home
-CHORUS- [Wake me up] Wake me up inside [I can't wake up] Wake me up inside [Save me] Call my name and save me from the dark [Wake me up] Bid my blood to run [I can't wake up] Before I come undone [Save me] Save me from the nothing I've become
Now that I know what I'm without, You cant just leave me. Breathe into me and {make me real Bring me to life
-CHORUS- [Wake me up] Wake me up inside [I can't wake up] Wake me up inside [Save me] Call my name and save me from the dark [Wake me up] Bid my blood to run [I can't wake up] Before I come undone [Save me] Save me from the nothing Ive become
{Bring me to life [I've been living a lie..theres nothing inside] {Bring me to life
Frozen inside without your touch, Without your love, darling Only you are the life among the dead
[All of this I, I can't believe I couldn't see Kept in the dark, but you were there in front of me]
Ive been sleeping a thousand years it seems Got to open my eyes to everything
[Without a thought, without a voice, without a soul] {Dont let me die here{You must be sacrificed Bring me to life
-CHORUS- [Wake me up] Wake me up inside [I can't wake up] Wake me up inside [Save me] Call my name and save me from the dark [Wake me up] Bid my blood to run [I cant wake up] Before I come undone [Save me] Save me from the nothing Ive become
Bring me to life [I've been living a lie.. Theres nothing inside] Bring me to life

when i hear this song I always automatically think of SPN. This is the only song I love by them. It's not what I listen to but this song just sticks out.
"Hero" by Skillet
I'm just a step away I'm just a breath away Losing my faith today Falling off the edge today
I am just a man Not superhuman I'm not superhuman Someone save me from the hate
It's just another war Just another family torn Falling from my faith today Just a step from the edge Just another day in the world we live
I need a hero to save me now I need a hero, save me now I need a hero to save my life A hero will save me just in time
I've gotta fight today To live another day Speaking my mind today My voice will be heard today
I've gotta make a stand But I am just a man I'm not superhuman My voice will be heard today
It's just another war Just another family torn My voice will be heard today It's just another kill The countdown begins to destroy ourselves
I need a hero to save me now I need a hero, save me now I need a hero to save my life A hero will save me just in time
I need a hero to save my life I need a hero, just in time Save me just in time Save me just in time
Who's gonna fight for what's right? Who's gonna help us survive? We're in the fight of our lives And we're not ready to die
Who's gonna fight for the weak? Who's gonna make 'em believe? I've got a hero, I've got a hero Living in me
I'm gonna fight for what's right Today I'm speaking my mind And if it kills me tonight I will be ready to die
A hero's not afraid to give his life A hero's gonna save me just in time
I need a hero to save me now I need a hero, save me now I need a hero to save my life A hero will save me just in time
(I need a hero) Who's gonna fight for what's right? Who's gonna help us survive?
(I need a hero) Who's gonna fight for the weak? Who's gonna make 'em believe? I've got a hero
I need a hero A hero's gonna save me just in time
______
Also I think this song should play during the series finale
v
The Final Countdown by Europe
We're leaving together But still it's farewell And maybe we'll come back To earth, who can tell? I guess there is no one to blame We're leaving ground Will things ever be the same again?
It's the final countdown The final countdown
Ohh We're heading for Venus and still we stand tall 'Cause maybe they've seen us and welcome us all, yea With so many light years to go and things to be found (To be found) I'm sure that we'll all miss her so
It's the final countdown The final countdown The final countdown (The final countdown) Ohh ho ohh
The final countdown, oh ho It's the final countdown The final countdown The final countdown (The final countdown)
Ohh It's the final countdown We're leaving together The final countdown We'll all miss her so It's the final countdown (The final countdown) Ohh, it's the final countdown Yea

"Measure Of A Man" If one day you discover him Broken down he's lost everything No cars, no fancy clothes to make him who he's not The woman at his side is all that he has got Why do you ask him move heaven and earth To prove his love has worth? Would he walk on water Would he run through fire Would he stand before you When it's down to the wire Would he give his life up To be all he can Is that, is that, is that how you measure a man? If by chance all he had to give you Was three words wrapped around your finger Would that be deep enough at the end of every day And how will you ever know If a man is what he says? Why do you ask him to move heaven and earth To prove his love has worth Would he walk on water Would he run through fire Would he stand before you When it's down to the wire Would he give his life up to be all he can Is that, is that, is that how you measure a man? He never gives up Lets go of his dream His world goes around for his one true belief Is that how you know Is that what it means? Would he walk on water Would he run through fire Would he stand before you Would he will be your anchor when the dark unfolds Would he always love you the best that he knows? Would he give his life up To be all that he can Is that, is that, is that how you measure a man? Would he walk on water Would he run through fire Would he stand before you When it's down to the wire Would he give his life up To be all he can Is that, is that, is that, how you measure oh... Is that, is that, is that, how you measure a man? Go here to see the Supernatural video to this song. http://z14.invisionfree.com/Supernatural/i...showtopic=56165

Anthem Of The Angels by Breaking Benjamin (especially now ) White walls surround us, No light will touch your face again. Rain taps the window, As we sleep among the dead. Days go on forever, But I have not left your side. We can chase the dark together, If you go then so will I. There is nothing left of you, I can see it in your eyes. Sing the anthem of the angels, And say the last goodbye. Cold light above us, Hope fills the heart and fades away. Skin white as winter, As the sky returns to grey. Days go on forever, But I have not left your side. We can chase the dark together, If you go then so will I. There is nothing left of you, I can see it in your eyes. Sing the anthem of the angels, And say the last goodbye. I keep holding onto you, But I can't bring you back to life. Sing the anthem of the angels, Then say the last goodbye. You're dead alive. You're dead alive. You're dead alive. You're dead alive. There is nothing left of you, I can see it in your eyes. Sing the anthem of the angels, And say the last goodbye. I keep holding onto you, But I can't bring you back to life. Sing the anthem of the angels, And say the last goodbye. Sing the anthem of the angels, And say the last goodbye. Sing the anthem of the angels.
