whenever I try that (either my own topic or anyone else's), it never seems to work anymore. It either just doesnt load, or give me the flood control message (which makes no sense as I'm not attempting to post anything). so what's wrong? It's been happening for awhile, and its driving me nuts...

sorry if this is in the wrong place, feel free to move to somewhere more appropriate...

Same here, I have been getting it for awhile. The flood control thing I get since there is search flood control. But the blank page thing? That buffles me.

DALDOS, I just tried clicking on your name and then clicked on "Find all topics by this member" and it worked.

I have to get to the board through a proxy, though, because my university network doesn't seem to like InvisionFree coding. So I know that what works and doesn't work for me is different from most people.

Is there another place to click "Find all topics by this member" that you're using? I always do what I said above, but there might be other ways that I'm not thinking of right now.

And another question, which internet browsers do you all use? I'm on Google Chrome.

I also just tried to "Find all Topics by this Member" for Cinca, and it worked fine for me. I'm on Firefox internet browser.

Edit: Okay, so a little bizarre. I tried the same for myself, Yoda, Sparkle, and DALDOS, and for some reason Yoda and DALDOS I get a flood control error, but everyone else I'm fine. I'm starting to wonder of the possibility that board rank (admin, mod, etc.) may be playing a role in this. Though this would be an extremely weird error, it's the only thing that is really coming to mind seeing as how the only special difference between Yoda and DALDOS is they have a forum admin and mod rank. Let me go play around with some other people first and see what I find....

Edit 2: Okay, so it just appears to be functioning like a post with the flood control, which is again odd. My only guess at this point is that invisionfree has put some sort of request limit on finding all the topics because it's such a resource intensive activity.

I use firefox myself and sometimes the find topics by members thing works and it doesn't on others, as in I get a white blank page. Same result with Internet Explorer, I get an error message on that one. Weird. Maybe I can try screencapping it later. The post and search flood control thing on who can avoid it and how long they have to wait can be set per groups I think. I tried other IF boards I have bookmarked but they seem to work fine. *shrug*

I don't have a problem getting on even with the cell phone service based connection I use now (The same one I use at school since school doesn't have internet unless in the library or the computer room) and my regular connection is now awol since I moved and we have currently an internet outage in the village anyway.

ETA: It looks like I dont get this weird error with the connection I use now. The board works fine. Interesting.
