Reported Post Buttons


It has recently come to our attention that the Post Report button in some of the forums has not been working. We have investigated and resolved the problem.

As part of this process we discovered that some members believed we are ignoring reported posts. Let me make it clear that we do not ignore any reported post or PM sent to a moderator or an Administrator. Unfortunately, if you report the post and we don’t get it, we have no way of knowing there is a problem unless someone tells us.

So, we would like to ask for your help. If you report a post or send a PM regarding an issue on the forum, you should receive some kind of reply within 24 hours after you send it. If the issue is something that will take some time to resolve or investigate or if it will take time before it can be addressed, you will still receive a PM from the mod/admin who will be handling your request to let you know it is being looked into.

If you don’t receive a response within 24 hours, please send a PM to either a Moderator or to an Administrator who is currently in the Forums to let us know you have not received a reply. To do this, you can click on the Moderator or Administrator name showing at the bottom of the page on the main forum page. This would be the member names that appear in red, blue or green in the Board Statistics area. If you can, please include the link to the post you reported or the name of the thread the post appeared in.

Finally if you have sent a PM to alert a moderator that your reported post or PM has not been addressed and still have not gotten a response, please PM either Irish or myself. Both of us are committed to ensuring that members receive a response and will take whatever steps are needed to find out what happened. Remember, we can’t help if we don’t know there is problem.
