I can do animations now but what seems to be a big problem for me is removing backgrounds from an image. When I do it, there's this brown stuff that's not suppose to be there. I want to remove the background from an image so that it will be like part of a picture or collage I'm working on. I Can't get the brown stuff off it. Am I doing it wrong? I'm messing up somehow. And I thought I had the right instructions before. But I guess I don't since I seem to keep messing up. I have Gimp 2.67 Hope someone can help me.

Try to cut or erase it away. I use a soft round brush for erasing and the lasso tool for cutting.

I think I'm getting the hang of it now. Thanks for the help. I'll need to keep this near my question and make note of it.
