The Battle of the Psychics, Sam Winchester Meets Shawn Spencer

Description:
This is an idea that came to me in a dream...I know that is how most of my ideas come from, but that doesn't mean that they are all the same. In this story Krissy is a hunter who is on a case in Santa Barbara and runs into Sam and Dean who have a bit of a history with her. Against their better judgement they decide to join forces to solve the same case. Krissy finds "Psych" Shawn and Gus's psychic agency and decides to scope it out. This is where many issues begin.

Before I get started I would like to get input from you. If you like the idea, have some critiques, or would like to add your character into the story please post it here.

I hope to get enough people interested in it to start a chain story. For those of you who are confused, because I do have a habit of talking nonsense this is where I would write a paragraph or two and then the next person would write some more on the story making it a group effort not just a one person gig.

PS if you plan on adding your character and know you want to add them before I write the first paragraph please write their name and description and I'll add it to my list along with your name/user-name so everyone knows who's character it is.

I'm not sure how old everyone should be so please if you have an idea let me know. The sooner you all post your characters and ideas the sooner I can post the start of the story and the sooner you all will be able to post the rest.

All right since at least one person is interested I will start. Just a reminder anyone can add to the story. The only thing I ask is if you are going to add a character not listed in my first post, please write the character's name and if you want a brief description before you add onto the story. I will add your character to the list along with your username so any new readers will know all the characters in the story. Part 1: Arrival
Driving all night had driven her crazy, but she finally arrived at her destination; Santa Barbara, California. To her surprise the only room available at the Crap-Shack hotel and bar (that’s right that is what the sign says out front) was the newly-weds suite. Reluctantly she pulled out her credit card and handed it to the front desk clerk.

“Alright, Miss Pickles. Here is your room key and receipt. You’re in room 1408, to get there go down the hall and to your right is the elevator. Once you get to your floor you will take the hallway to your left and go all the way down. Your room is the last one on the left. Have a nice stay.”

“Thank You!” Krissy reached out to grab the items, but just as she was about to put them in her purse she remembered the meaning of her room number and a smile slowly crossed her face.

Once in the room and unpacked Krissy decided to do some more research on the thing she was here to hunt. She grabbed her room key, the pocketknife her ex-boyfriend gave her and cell phone off the desk by the door and tossed them into her purse on the way out. Her next task is to talk to the witnesses in town. The first on her list is an older guy, supposedly a retired cop, by the name of Henry Spencer.

Ok here goes. I hope this works. This is kind of fun. I hope others decide to try their hand at it.

Henry Spencer sat on his couch suspicious of the young woman who sat on a chair across from him. She had introduced herself as a college student at UC of Santa Barbara. She explained that she was a journalism student and that the editor of the school paper had asked her to cover the mysterious attacks that had been happening in the area.

To the casual observer she looked the part of a college student, fresh faced and eager, but Henry wasn't a casual observer; her blond hair is pulled back in a ponytail and she wore a pink UC of Santa Barbara t-shirt, white jeans and sandals. She had forgone the typical notepad and pencil reporters usually used and had chosen, instead, to record their conversation on a digital recorder. And the vibe she gave off screamed she wasn't who she said she was.

"So, Mr. Spencer, I understand that you discovered the first body. My sources indicate that the victim's body looked as if it had been mauled by a mountain lion or some other kind of wild animal. It is my understanding that mountain lion attacks have been on the rise in the area as more and more hikers and bicyclists venture further off the beaten trails. My question to you is, as a well respected and retired officer of the Santa Barbara P.D. what is your opinion on this matter."

"Well, Miss Pickles," Henry said his senses on high alert, "I am of the opinion that I have no opinion. This is a current and ongoing investigation being handled by the Santa Barbara P.D. and I am not willing to comment on it. I suggest that you go back to your sources and ask them." Something about this girl had the hair on Henry's neck standing up. She was lying about who she was and she was defiantly fishing for information.

Krissy looked at the man who sat across from her. Her hunter instincts telling her that he suspected she wasn't who and what she claimed to be. She decided to play it safe. Smiling she packed her digital recorder into her purse and stood up. "Sorry to have bothered you Mr. Spencer," she replied dryly, "I guess I'll show myself out."

'Well that was a bust,' she thought to herself. She didn't know why she was surprised the guy was a retired cop after all. Looking up at the hazy Californian sky she decided to head to the coroners office and see if she could get a look at the victims bodies herself. What she didn't know was that she wouldn't be the only person showing up to see the bodies.

OMG! aislinn Thanks for adding to it! That was awesome! I love your update...I hope you add more later...You are so good at this. That was an awesome twist. I can totally see that happening. I wonder who else is at the coroners office...I guess I'll find out.
