NATHANIEL and DEAN on the mountaintop.

NATHANIEL:
God ordered you to be raised from Hell. Because you have a purpose that was not fulfilled before your death...

DEAN:
Oh, and what was that?

Cut to -
A scene from 3.16 "No Rest for the Wicked" as LILITH snaps the neck of her "Grandpa".

NATHANIEL: (V.O)
To defeat Lilith...and stop the apocalypse...

4.1 - "Hell Hath No Fury"
SAM, fighting the JESS succubus.

RUBY: (V.O)
Everyone sees a succubi differently. She appear as a different person to different people.

SAM: (V.O)
Who did you see her as?

RUBY: (V.O)
I'd rather not go into that...

4.12 - "The King and the Pawn"
DANTALION is torturing DEAN.

DANTALION:
Once upon a time, God created man...one man, name of Adam...and to keep him company, God created a woman...and do you know what her name was?

Cut to -
CLOSE UP and DANTALION whisperes into DEAN's ear.

DANTALION:
Lilith...

Cut to -
Another scene.

DEAN:
What do you mean ruling Hell? I thought the Devil was all up in that...

DANTALION:
Again, you're thinking too much along the lines of Sunday School. Satan is gone...

DEAN:
(a beat) What?

DANTALION:
Oh, yeah...you think God in all his magnificence is here? Nope...everybody's on even footing here...

DEAN:
You mean...God and the Devil...

DANTALION:
Yep...both gone.

Fade to Black. The music stops.

Title Card: "Now"

Fade Up - EXT. The Singer Scrapyard - Night
It is either late night or early morning, it is not too clear.

Cut to - INT. Bobby's House, Bedroom - Night
BOBBY is asleep, snoring peacefully.

Suddenly, we hear the sound of electricity cackling. BOBBY's eyes open, he's always ready for action.

Cut to - INT. Bobby's House, Kitchen - Night
BOBBY has donned his mighty trucker cap and a sawed-off. He has the steely-eyed look of a man who is ready for anything.

He opens the door into the kitchen to reveal...LILITH, stuck in a Devil's Trap.

Cut to -
CLOSE UP of BOBBY, getting a double-take.

Cut to -
LILITH.

LILITH:
(disgusted) Yeah, I'm not amused either...

Series Title Card.

ACT ONE
Fade Up - INT. A Motel Room - Night
The camera comes back to SAM and DEAN, lying in separate beds in the motel room. Suddenly, Dean's "Smoke on the Water" ringtone goes off. He comically slaps several places on the bedside table before he gets a hold of it, then answers.

DEAN:
Hello? (a beat) Bobby? What the-? (a beat) Slow down a sec!

SAM:
(waking up) Who is it?

DEAN:
(hand on the phone) It's Bobby. (pulls his hand off) Yeah...you...we'll be right there...(he hangs up, gets out of bed) Let's go!

SAM:
Dean, it's two in the morning...what is going on?

DEAN:
Bobby has Lilith...I don't know how, but he has Lilith...

SAM's eyes light up and he gets out of bed.

Cut to - EXT. The Impala - Night
We get a shot of the rear of the Impala as it roars off into the night.

Cut to - EXT. Bobby's House - Day
It is early morning, probably five or six. The sun has not yet risen. BOBBY is waiting for SAM and DEAN outside. He is fully dressed, now.

SAM and DEAN approach.

BOBBY:
Thanks for coming, boys.

DEAN:
Sure thing, Bob-

SAM:
(Interrupting) Where is she?

Both DEAN and BOBBY look at SAM worriedly.

Cut to -
CLOSE UP of SAM. There is an almost animalistic joy to his features. It is clear he has been waiting for this for far too long.

BOBBY: (OS)
Inside...

Cut to -
A wide shot of the three of them.

BOBBY:
C'mon...

He walks in, the boys follow.

Cut to - INT. Bobby's House, Kitchen - Day
LILITH is still stuck in the strange Devil's Trap, her arms crossed over her chest. She looks irritated.

BOBBY, SAM, and DEAN enter.

LILITH:
(grins) Oh, hello, boys...

SAM starts at her, pulling RUBY's knife out of his pocket. DEAN stops him.

DEAN:
Sam, don't!

SAM:
Dean, we have a chance to kill her, let's do it!

NATHANIEL: (OS)
You can't.

The camera pans over to show NATHANIEL.

Cut to -
BOBBY.

BOBBY:
I don't suppose angels worry much about knockin', do they?

Cut to -
NATHANIEL. His confused expression shows that BOBBY's sarcasm is lost on him.

BOBBY: (OS)
Nevermind.

Cut to -
SAM, walking over to NATHANIEL.

SAM:
Why can't we kill her?

NATHANIEL:
Because she needs to be questions...

LILITH:
Yeah, good luck with that...

NATHANIEL:
(to LILITH) Quiet. (to SAM) We must find out what she knows...

DEAN:
So you guys did this?

NATHANIEL:
No. We are not responsible for this...someone in Lilith's own ranks has turned against her...

Cut to -
LILITH, glaring at NATHANIEL with contempt.

NATHANIEL: (CON'T.)
But this is a perfect opportunity to find out everything she knows...about Lucifer...and the Devil...and...

DEAN:
(Interrupting) And God? Yeah, I heard that our dear and fluffy Lord has gone missing...how's that working for us? Hmm?

Cut to -
NATHANIEL, looking somewhat uncomfortable.

Cut to -
SAM and DEAN. There is a ruffle of feathers, and when the camera pans back to its original place, NATHANIEL is gone.

DEAN:
(a beat, sighs) Right...

SAM:
So, let's kill her!

DEAN:
Sam! We can't!

SAM:
Why the hell not?

DEAN:
Sam, we can stop her. We can kill her later...but if we kill her, we're just going to have an army of demons without a leader to deal with...

LILITH:
Ooh...yes! (All eyes in the room are now on her) Imagine that, can't ya? Blood everywhere! I love it...(she looks to SAM) Go ahead, Sammy! Slit my throat and let loose the dogs of war!

DEAN:
(to LILITH) Shut the hell up! (to SAM) We have to be smart about this, not going off for revenge...

SAM:
This isn't about revenge, Dean! It's about justice!

DEAN:
Justice? Sam, listen...you're...

Cut to -
RUBY's knife, dropping onto the ground. The camera pans up to show SAM, his face contorted with anger. He storms out.

LILITH:
Aww, don't be that way, Sammy! Why are you listening to little ol' Dean?

DEAN:
(to LILITH) Shut the hell up, bitch! (to SAM) Sam, come back!

BOBBY:
Just let him go...let him cool off...

DEAN sighs.

LILITH:
What's the matter, Dean-o? These family issues just getting to be too much for you?

Cut to -
DEAN, walking over and punching LILITH in the face. She takes the hit, then laughs, wiping the blood from her mouth.

LILITH:
Oh, I can tell that this is gonna be a blast...

Cut to - EXT. Bobby's House, The Junkyard - Day
SAM stands against a stack of crushed cars, his eyes closed and his breath deep and long.

RUBY: (OS)
Sam...

SAM looks over to see RUBY, nearby, hiding behind another pile.

RUBY:
Is the coast clear?

SAM:
Yeah, I'm alone, if that's what you're asking.

RUBY:
(walks over) Why so glum, chum?

SAM:
We have Lilith.

RUBY:
(a beat) Say that again?

SAM:
Yeah. Apparently, some of her ex-buddies dropped her face-first into Bobby's place.

RUBY:
And the bitch isn't dead on her feet? Why?

SAM:
Because Dean and the angels want to give her the Third Degree...

RUBY:
Oh, fun...(a beat, off SAM's look) And I assume you're out here because you don't agree with that...

SAM:
I went looking for Lilith for two whole months after he died...now I have a chance to make things right, and he tells me 'No'...

RUBY:
I'm not much with the group therapy, but you should probably just hang back for a bit, Sam. You'll get your chance...

SAM:
Yeah...

He stares ahead, deep in thought.

Fade to Black.

wooooo, i am sooo excited about next act or acts! please hurry! i am so full of joy!

ACT TWO
Fade Up - INT. Bobby's House, Kitchen - Day
LILITH is still trapped. DEAN enters.

LILITH:
Aww, honey! You're home!

DEAN:
Yeah...got some questions for you...

LILITH:
Let's hope you're better than Katie Couric...

DEAN:
You guys are working on killing her, yeah?

LILITH:
Oh, absolutely. I can't stand that woman...but no, what are your questions?

DEAN:
(a beat) So no resistance? At all?

LILITH:
C'mon, Dean...we've both been to Hell...no secrets between dear friends...

DEAN:
(ignoring that last comment) The angels want me to find out about the War...what it is that you're planning...

LILITH:
Of course they do...

DEAN:
But that can wait...(a beat) I want to know about you...

Cut to -
LILITH, who looks surprised.

LILITH:
That's funny...that's about the last thing I'd think you'd care about knowing...

DEAN:
Well, you know, know thine enemy...

LILITH:
(a beat) Of course...

DEAN:
I mean, a little of it, I already know...how you were a human once...and then you met...

LILITH:
(Interrupting) The Devil? Yeah...boy, was he a real go-getter...

DEAN:
And he's not Lucifer?

LILITH:
(shakes her head) No.

DEAN:
Then who is he?

LILITH:
(chuckles) Even I don't know that one, Dean. But I can tell you, he was quite the guy...(she sits down, crosslegged) I remember when I met him...like it was just yesterday...

Flashback - EXT. A Desolate Wasteland - Night
We see a desolate wasteland, dead trees and rocky terrain dominate the view. Eventually, we see an attractive young woman wearing rags - LILITH. Eventually, she stops and looks to the ground.

Cut to -
A jet black snake with burning, red eyes, slithering on the ground.

Cut to -
LILITH, who looks at the snake curiously.

Cut to -
The snake, slowly transforming into a handsome man in midnight black robes and with blood red eyes. He walks up to LILITH who, at first, recoils, but then gives as he touches her shoulder.

He whispers into her ear and her eyes slowly become their familiar white color. She turns and leans back against the man, now revealed to be SATAN. He grins slightly as large, bat-like wings emerge from his back to envelop them both.

Cut to - INT. Bobby's House, Kitchen - Day
We get a close up of DEAN's face, having likely gotten a description of this.

DEAN:
So...(a beat) He turned you into a demon?

LILITH:
The first demon, Dean...that was me, yes.

DEAN:
Why'd you do it?

LILITH:
I had no reason to stay where I was...and he promised me everything God couldn't...

DEAN:
You ever meet the man?

LILITH:
Who, God? (DEAN nods, she scoffs) It's amazing to me, nobody's shocked when they find out that the Devil is real, but they are just dying to know if God's real, too...

DEAN:
You're dodging the question.

LILITH:
Yes! For the love of him, he's real! Are you satisfied?

DEAN:
Geez! Sorry I brought it up! (He rolls his eyes) So you went on to become Queen Bitch, yeah?

LILITH:
That's right...

SAM: (OS)
I'm sure.

The camera pans over to reveal that SAM has come back in.

LILITH:
(claps her hands, grinning. She has a childish joy in her eyes.) Oh, now it's a party!

DEAN:
(to SAM) Are you okay, man?

SAM:
(looks hard at DEAN, but then nods) Yeah.

LILITH:
So what'd you come for?

SAM:
Maybe I'm a little curious too...

LILITH:
Then pull up a chair, Samuel.

SAM:
It's Sam.

LILITH:
(a beat, then with a laugh) Of course...

DEAN:
So you go to Hell...you run around with Satan for a while...

LILITH:
No. I actually worked more with Lucifer.

SAM:
Oh, great...glad to hear it.

LILITH:
Yep. I know all about him...(then, with a lusty look) All about him..

DEAN:
(Interrupting) And as much as we'd love to hear about your demon S&M, we've got a tight schedule that we're on, yeah?

LILITH:
(mocking cough) Oh, where are my manners? Oh, right. (cough) In hell...(cough) So, where was I?

DEAN:
You were getting to working with Lucifer once Satan threw you in Hell?

LILITH:
Yep. I won't give you the play by play, but Lucifer was so surprised when he found out he was going to have a son...

DEAN:
Oh, great. Like we need more demon kids running around...

LILITH:
Oh, no, don't worry...you killed him.

Cut to -
SAM and DEAN, who exchange looks.

DEAN:
Come again?

LILITH:
My son...you butchered him...

SAM:
There's no way...

DEAN:
No way what? Who the hell is she talking about?

SAM:
Yellow Eyes...

LILITH: (OS)
Bingo.

Cut to -
Close Up of DEAN. He looks shocked.

DEAN:
Azazel...was?

LILITH:
Oh, yeah...he's mine. Or he was...

SAM:
So everything he was doing...

LILITH:
Was to help out dear old Daddy...that's right.

She smirks. Both SAM and DEAN share dark looks.

Fade to Black.

ACT THREE
Fade Up - INT. Bobby's House, Living Room - Day
SAM, DEAN, and BOBBY are in the living room. The doors into the kitchen are shut, presumably to keep LILITH from listening in.

DEAN:
Okay, so what are we going to do?

SAM:
Well, the way I see it, we've got the knife, and we've got the Colt. Basically, anything goes...

DEAN:
Yeah, there's that...

NATHANIEL: (OS)
You've still failed to properly question her...

The camera pans over to show NATHANIEL and SERAPHINA, who have arrived.

SERAPHINA:
We really need to work on your interrogation skills.

DEAN:
Yeah, thanks...

NATHANIEL:
Dean, Lucifer is rising...when he does, he will know how to bring on the end of the world...

DEAN:
Right, right...and tell me again, where is God in all this?

Cut to -
NATHANIEL and SERAPHINA, who exchange looks.

DEAN: (CON'T.)
Don't you pull a Houdini on me, you spineless sons of bitches! Where is God?

Cut to -
DEAN, glaring at them. There is a flutter of wings and the camera pans around to show SERAPHINA is face to face with DEAN, matching his glare.

SERAPHINA:
I will make something very clear to you, Dean Winchester. You are rude, arrogant, and disobedient to the last...you are possibly the least worth thing in existence to be the champion of our Father. You are allowed to live simply due to that reason...

DEAN:
Right...because I'm the only one who can stop Lucifer, right...

SERAPHINA:
So stop your questions and do what you were raised from Hell to do...(a beat) Or, Heaven can find a new champion...

DEAN:
(unphased) Sure...I'd love to sign up to be your bitch...

There's a tense moment where we are sure a fight between the two (or angry sex) is about to break out, when NATHANIEL interrupts.

NATHANIEL: (OS)
Seraphina, this bickering will get us nowhere.

The camera pans over to NATHANIEL.

NATHANIEL: (CON'T.)
We must destroy Lilith...now...

BOBBY:
How much do we know about Lilith's plan, anyway?

All eyes turn to him.

SERAPHINA:
What do you mean, Bobby Singer?

BOBBY:
What if killing her is exactly what she wants?

DEAN:
He might be right...

SAM:
Oh, c'mon! That would be stupid!

NATHANIEL:
Not necessarily...(a beat) If Lilith is totally devoted to making sure Lucifer rises...then there is no limit to how far she will go...what she will give up...

There is a tense silence.

SERAPHINA:
(to DEAN) Continue to question her...we will return when we have a kill order...

Again, the flutter of wings, and they are gone.

DEAN:
(sighs) Great...

RUBY: (OS)
I don't suppose you could help a demon girl out of a magic circle, no?

The camera pans over to RUBY, who has found walking through the front door a bit difficult, due to a Devil's Trap on the floor.

Cut to -
SAM.

SAM:
Yeah...(he walks over, pulling out a knife) Hang on...

DEAN:
Wait a minute, how do we know that's her?

BOBBY:
What do you mean?

DEAN:
Well, Lilith pulled the same trick with the same meat suit...

SAM:
(stops) Yeah, he's right...

BOBBY:
But that Devil's Trap...

DEAN:
(Interrupts) I know, but then, she might be one of Lilith's buddies...

RUBY:
(sarcastically) Yeah, right!

SAM:
What was the first thing you ever said to me?

RUBY:
(blinks) "I'm the girl who just saved your ass."

SAM:
It's her.

DEAN:
Huh?

SAM:
First thing she said to me when she killed Pride...remember? The Seven Deadly Sins?

DEAN:
Yeah...let her out...

SAM cuts the trap, RUBY steps out.

RUBY:
Thanks.

SAM:
Sure.

RUBY:
So...when are we going to kill Lilith?

DEAN:
That part's still being worked on.

RUBY:
Oh...so you've lost the Colt again...and my knife, or what?

BOBBY:
It's a bit more complicated than that...

RUBY:
Really?

SAM:
Ruby, don't...

RUBY:
(rolls her eyes) Didn't know you were running safe houses for Hell Bitches...

DEAN:
Well, we keep you around...(a beat) I'm not sure why...

BOBBY:
I think...hang on a minute... (a beat, he runs over to his books) Let's wait until the angels get back...I think I know something that will work good for everyone...

DEAN:
That'd be nice...

RUBY:
Great! (She sits down in a chair, propping her feet up on the table, much to BOBBY's chagrin) So, can somebody get me some french fries? I'm starving!

DEAN gives SAM an annoyed look. SAM can only shrug.

Fade to Black.

ACT FOUR
Fade Up - INT. Bobby's House, Living Room - Night
Night has fall, and they are all still waiting for BOBBY to finish his research.

BOBBY: (on the phone)
Uh huh...alright...thanks, Rufus...

He hangs up.

DEAN:
(a beat) And?

BOBBY:
Rufus is sending me something...an exorcism...

SAM:
You really think an exorcism can top that?

BOBBY:
This ain't a regular one, Sam...apparently, it can send demons - even really powerful ones - back to Hell and bind them there forever...

DEAN:
Has it ever been used before?

BOBBY:
Only once...back in the mid 1880s, when a town out in the West was completely possessed.

DEAN:
At least it's got a precedent...

BOBBY:
Yeah...the hunter who performed it died from it...

DEAN:
(a beat) That's encouraging...

BOBBY:
(shrugs) It's the best we've got...

SAM:
(to BOBBY) There's no way... (a beat, then) Bobby, you can't be thinking that...

BOBBY:
I'm old, Sam...

DEAN:
(realizing) Oh, hell no! No! We'll just gank the bitch, Bobby, we're not going to let you do this...

BOBBY:
(to DEAN) It ain't really your call, is it? (to both of them) Look, boys, we've been through a bunch, but you both need to stop and realize that I ain't gonna live forever. Even if I don't do this, this lifestyle isn't very kind to people like us.

SAM:
(Interrupts) Bobby, I-

BOBBY:
(Interrupts) If I'm gonna go out, I'm gonna go out in a way that means something, not for nothing, you know? And if I can help keep the world from ending...I want to...

RUBY: (OS)
Not a bad plan...

The camera pans over to RUBY, who is still sitting in exactly the same place as she was at the end of the last act. Both SAM and DEAN look at her like they want to kill her.

RUBY: (CON'T.)
As I recall, I was going to do the same thing...(a beat) No one? 30 demons and a prison in Mayberry?

DEAN:
We remember...

Cut to -
DEAN, facing BOBBY.

DEAN:
Bobby, let me do it. Okay?

BOBBY:
No. And that's the end of it, boy...

There is a moment of testosterone poisoning before DEAN backs up.

DEAN:
Fine...

Cut to -
SAM, looking both frightened and worried.

NATHANIEL: (OS)
It sounds reasonable...

The camera pans over to show that NATHANIEL has returned.

SAM:
Reasonable? How is that reasonable?

NATHANIEL:
Ration transaction, one life for six billion.

SAM glares at him.

DEAN:
Okay...so it's okay that we do this? That we give Lilith a one way ticket back to the Pit?

NATHANIEL:
Yes. We've recieved our orders...the Seraphim are in agreement.

DEAN:
Seraphim?

NATHANIEL:
The Highest Angelic Echelon...

DEAN:
Oh...alright...

Cut to -
NATHANIEL.

NATHANIEL:
Get it done...

The camera cuts back to the previous shot and, after the flutter, the angel is gone.

Cut to -
RUBY, who relaxes.

RUBY:
Alright...so, we gonna chain this bitch up, or what?

Cut to -
DEAN.

DEAN:
(to SAM) Ready? (SAM nods, DEAN looks to BOBBY) Are you ready?

BOBBY:
(pulling the exorcism from the printer) Yeah...it came through...

Cut to -
RUBY, getting up.

RUBY:
And I'm ready, thanks for asking...

Cut to - INT. Bobby's House, Kitchen - Night
The doors open and they enter.

LILITH:
So, you've come to toss me into the Pit, yeah?

DEAN:
Oh, yeah...and keep you there...forever...

LILITH:
That's fine...you'll all be there in the end...

She looks to each of them in turn.

LILITH:
(at DEAN) You've already been...you know what's going to be there, don't you? (at RUBY) And you've been...too... (at BOBBY, she just laughs, before looking to SAM) And you...little Sammy...you're the one I'm going to enjoy most of all...

SAM:
(staring her down) Then I guess I'll see you in Hell...

LILITH:
Oh, you will...you will...

BOBBY:
(pulls up the paper) SACERDOS ab Ordinario delegatus, rite confessus, aut saltem corde peccata sua detestans, peracto, si commode fieri possit, Sanctissimo Missæ sacrificio...

During this, LILITH starts contorting and screaming.

BOBBY:
divinoque auxilio piis precibus implorato, superpelliceo et stola violacea indutus, et coram se habens obsessum ligatum, si sit periculum, eum, se et astantes communiat signo crucis, et aspergat aqua benedicta, et genibus flexis, aliis respondentibus, dicat Litanias ordinarias usque ad Preces exclusive. Postem dicat:
Ant. Ne reminiscáris, Dómini, delicta nostra, vel paréntum nostrórum: neque vindíctam sumas de peccátis nostris.

As he finishes, rather than LILITH going back to Hell, the Devil's Trap is broken beneath her.

DEAN:
Uh...Bobby...

LILITH grins.

BOBBY:
Yeah?

DEAN:
I think that Exorcism isn't quite right...

LILITH:
Nice guess, dumbass!

LILITH throws all of them into the wall.

LILITH:
You really thought that I'd let you idiots capture me? Really? Like I take crap from anyone who works for me?

RUBY: (OS)
You bitch...

LILITH laughs and pulls a small, metallic sphere out of her pocket, lifting it up.

LILITH:
Oh, it's gonna get worse...

She blows on the sphere and it hits RUBY in the stomach, she screams in pain.

Cut to -
SAM, lifting his hand and trying to exorcise LILITH.

LILITH:
(watching her hair blow in the wind) C'mon, Sam...you don't have the juice to ice me...

She throws SAM into another wall.

BOBBY:
(groans) Dómini, delicta nostra, vel paréntum nostrórum: neque vindíctam sumas de peccátis nostris...

The exorcism appears to be effecting LILITH at last, she screams and depossesses her meat suit.

Cut to -
DEAN, walking over to BOBBY.

DEAN:
You alright?

BOBBY:
(breathing hard) I'll live...

DEAN:
Good...Sam? Sam?

Cut to -
SAM, over with RUBY.

RUBY is jerking around on the floor like she's having a seizure.

SAM:
(checking for a pulse) Uh...Dean?

DEAN walks over.

DEAN:
(checking for a pulse) You gotta be kidding me...

SAM:
We need to get her to a hospital...or something...

DEAN:
Yeah, fine...

BOBBY:
(trying to get up) Yeah, let's...

He sits back down again.

DEAN:
(to BOBBY) Hang on...(to SAM) Get her, let's go...

Cut to -
SAM, who scoops up RUBY as DEAN slings BOBBY's arm over his shoulder and they head out.

Fade to Black.

Not bad, Jordan. Not bad at all!

Well, Lilith allowed herself to be captured, so there had to be something that she wanted...not that I can say anything about it...
