Okay, so during the wallpaper challenge the question came up quite often on how to post a thumbnail on the board. So I thought to help everyone out for this challenge, and possibly others in the future, I would just post an explanation of a few ways you can include thumbnails of your work.
1.) The most common image uploading provider for members of forums is Photobucket, so this first way to post a thumbnail is for all you photobucket users. The easiest way is to take your image code which should look something like this:
Now to make this a thumbnail all you have to do is add "th_" infront of your image name. Your code should then look like this:
*Note: If you use the URL image code, you have to put the "th_" next to just the image code outside the URL code, not the one on the inside. Example:
2.) The next way to make a thumbnail is to simply make one yourself. After you have saved your final wallpaper and are getting ready to post it, just make a smaller version of your wallpaper that is about the size of a typical thumbnail. Then upload this image with your wallpaper to your image hosting site (photobucket, imageshack, etc.) and when you post your image you have to use the URL method mentioned above. Just make sure you put the URL of the full wallpaper inside the URL code and then the thumbnail image code outside the URL code.
3.) If you use Imageshack or another image hosting site, check to make sure they don't offer some kind of thumbnail code either with the codes they by default provide or if they offer it before you upload your image.
If you know of another way to make thumbnails, feel free to share in this thread.
Thanks and I hope that this helps. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or post something in here.
