If I want to slow down an animation I've made I either add more layers, so it takes longer to cycle through
...Or I change the delay between the frames so that each frame is shown for longer...

In GIMP you'd "Open" the .gif anmation you wanted to change then go into "Dialogues"..."Layers" and ext to the layer name it should have each layers delay time in Milleseconds...just make the number higher wink.gif
>>Cap 1<< >>Cap 2<<

I hope this helps happy.gif

Well done on figuring out animation BTW smileyclap22nx.gif

...it's addictive you know laugh.gif

I'm gonna move this into Fanart "help" wink.gif

ETA:...here you go...
I changed the times to 500ms...from 10ms by altering it in the Layers box

...Is that more like what you wanted...or does it need to be even slower? happy.gif

What does Photobucket have to do with it?...Now I'm confussed laugh.gif

That's jus where I've hosted the images of what to do in GIMP
...

did you get the PM?... use/follow the links to Photobucket to look at the images I've uploaded of Gimp so that you can see what I'm saying to do...

They're too big to just post so I just left the links wink.gif

ETA:..If the links aren't working (you can't see the images I'm talking about) then let me know and i can re-upload them to Imageshack instead smile.gif

I've tried doing this on my Gimp but there is no Dialogues box on mine. I use Gimp 2.6, but there is a layers and that's about it. Do you have some other way of doing this on Gimp 2.6? I don't see Dialogues box on mine unless its hidden in it and I don't know where its at.

I have 2.4 still because i love it... tongue.gif

I'll have DL 2.6 and see where the layers box dialogue is wink.gif

I've tried these instructions and it still won't slow the image down. I tried going up a number and it won't let me do that. I'm so confused now and don't know what I'm doing wrong. I can do the first step or two right, then the rest I manage to screw up somehow. I Hope you can help me out more. What do you mean go make the number higher and where do you go to do that?
